Are you worried about rushing into things, like taking a promotion at work?
You’d like to go for it but something is holding you back.
Evaluate and write down the fears and take time to go through your worries and concerns, and what would help you overcome these fears you are having.
You may be thinking would I have to do extra hours?
Would I be able to earn more money?
Would it require working on different days unlike what I do now?
Would I cope with the promotion and am I capable of leading a team?
Perhaps you want to write a book, but you feel you are incapable and that you feel you can’t compete with other writers.
Use these fears to push yourself into gear and be in the mindset that YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!
Life is full of chances to change your life, for example I have unknown to me got more followers on Pinterest and it meant adding more content to the pins that I have worked on and its building and building yourself that you need to focus on. Facing your fears of what is stopping you,
THE NEED TO BE DEALT WITH!
Just start by writing and answering the above questions.
Begin to picture yourself writing the book or taking the promotion you really want to go for, and write one thing that would push you forward.
If you want to write a book, start by jotting down notes and your ideas. Imagine yourself writing the book, picture the scene of the book, like you would when watching a movie.
Start building and putting together the reason why you want to go for the promotion or write a book how will it improve you life?
Perhaps you feel you can’t write a book because you don’t read books, then there is no time like the present to begin reading books. It really helps when putting your own book together, and finding the style that works for you.
If you get a promotion and your worried that the relationship with your colleagues are gonna change towards you, then,
sit them down and have a meeting about it, even if it is one to one
tell them your plans in what things you want to help your colleagues with,
how the relationship with them will grow so there are no barriers between you and them.
Who around you inspires you?
It could be a friend
a family member or
someone you see on the TV,
what they bring to the table that you like
how can you implement their way of being into your own.
You can be inspired by other people, without feeling jealousy and begrudging. I want to see people do well, and if you support them they will do the same. It may take time but if you know what it is you want in life and know how this person makes you feel, then follow their path, not copy, but what things they teach you that you can add to your life for you to be just a successful.
I feel inspired listening to Celine Dion, and love her music and she went through a transition where she learned to speak English, had teeth surgery and altered her image, because Rene who was her manager and then became her husband, knew that for her to be in music and not be mocked by the press she would need changes that will help her grow as an artist and now sells billion records all over the world.
I have now changed my habits and implemented new ones:
I always make sure I have breakfast
Go walking and playing football and walks with my son
I read books whilst travelling to and from my sons home
Have night off on Saturdays and being away from my phone
Spend time doing colouring
Sunday is my training day where I will watch training videos on Youtube like Sara Cannon and Natalia Leigh who do videos about their life as self published authors
Keep tabs on my finances and making sure any bills due are paid and save as much as possible
It all adds to push yourself confidence and perhaps you feel you need more education to go for the promotion, and speak your superior as I did this working for an entertainments company where I would book tickets for people wanting to go to visit theme parks and I was struggling to remember the details I need to check to book tickets and so I spoke to my coach who gave me further training.
If you don’t ask you don’t get.
And be your own teacher to build your knowledge and make a time or day to do some self training if you knowledge is not up to scratch and will help push you forward to going for that promotion and never feel you can’t compete, because YES YOU CAN!
Hello and welcome! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for following me on this site and liking my blogs it really is truly wonderful and helps me to create more content to reach out to you, and so thank you for all your kind feedback.
I have my next Newsletter for March, see here if you’d like to read it:
I think a lot of us can identify with Climbing Mountains, as life can feel like we are trying to reach the top of our lives but not accomplishing it. Many events in life can have an influence, like a lose of someone or you lose your job and feel unhappy that can come with that. Yet there are so many things you can do to get out of feeling that way, you can feel that there is nothing there for you now, because that security of a job has now gone and now you are on your tod trying to find the next chapter to your life.
Creating a book. Iove writing stories, and for a while I put it on hold, but so glad I started again, and there are some brilliant people out there that can help you. I like watching a lady called Sara Cannon, and has a site called Heartbreathings. Amazon has made it easy for you to upload a book, so give it a try, you never know. NEVER LIMIT YOURSELF
Start a fitness routine. I love walking it helps my mind so much and I make sure I do some each day, and workout indoors. Taking up a dance class. I did dancing and really good in meeting new people and feels like fun rather than running if this is not your thing. Check out these blog sites I write blogs for: https://sportsandfitnesspassion.wordpress.com and, https://getfitgetactivewithme.blogspot.com
Take that holiday. I was made redundant when working for a call centre and the campaign I was working on, moved to Poland so I couldn’t continue, and we all knew that it was coming, and so the Christmas before that happened I took me and my son’s dad before he was born, to Florida. I went first class and it was so worth it, and so take a break, the world doesn’t need to stop, and treat yourself.
Spend time changing your environment. Staying in four walls is never going to help, or being somewhere that you don’t like and want change. Find the place that makes you smile and give you a good new lease of endorphins.
Get rid of assets that you no longer need. Sometimes having a good sort out, and declutter can help the mind and start a fresh and a new beginning, and so if there are assets that no longer serves a purpose, give them to someone else who might have use for them, and sell.
Life can hit a block in the road, that is life sadly but getting up and changing what is stopping you from getting on the top of the mountain can make the climb a breath.
Hello and this blog is to say Thank you once again for your support whilst I complete this monthly challenge and gonna do this each month. I really love these challenges and it’s really been a mindful challenge. I see how many blogs I can do and it keeps me on my toes to write more and have my blogs be as good as the last one.
I HAVE 9 DAYS TO GO!
Here are 6 ways on how you can challenge yourself too:
Learning to drive. This I have tried but failed as I was not mentally ready to learn but did cause I thought I should. I am on medication for my Mental Health so can’t do this challenge, but wanted to make this the first because if you want to learn why not have a lesson each day if possible or a few days per week and challenge yourself 30 week challenge instead
Read a book in a day, week or each month. I really would like this to be one, and do this challenge for the month as I love to read and see if I can do complete it. Great way to visit charity shops, the library or kindle and see how many you can read each week or month
Take a photo of different things for 30 days and share on instagram or twitter. This is one that is in the Mrs Hinch Activity journal and again one I would like to eventually do myself
Exercise for 30 days. You can ask your friends to join and go on walks or runs together and good for getting family involved too. Or go to the gym now they will be back open or if there is an outdoor gym near you and take advantage and see how it helps the mind and the body.
Write in a journal for 30 days and reflect on each day of how it was. Journal writing is great to clear your minds and get rid off those cobwebs when doing so
Do a bit of gardening each day for 30 days. Sorting out the garden many find theruptic and if you have kids this can be a good one too
Hello! It is Friday and Day 8 of my 30 day blog challenge where I will post a blog a day for 30 days on this site.
In this blog post I am writing about Building a career and developing your life, and there are some real simple ways for doing this.
To set standards for yourself. Listen to critics and use it to help you be stronger and use it to build not knock you down
If you can find a good mentor to help you work towards a career. I am currently working with a Career Specialised to help me find work in an industry that I have been officially wanting to work in and is a great way to help you towards a job you have always wanted
If you are working in a industry that you don’t feel happy about anymore. This means time for a change. Update your life by following your dreams and aspirations and if it means doing some courses towards it then do so and get in touch with mental health specialists who can help get your life back on track
Develop a team to help you. My Social worker has been the one who has introduced me to a career specialised as mentioned above and so feel that I have once again a good team of people helping me and with working in Mental health being in a hospital is going to teach me a whole lot more.
Work through challenges but never use them to hold you back. As with standards set yourself personal goals and targets and believe in yourself. As soon as you here self criticism acknowlege and then go through it but then write dowm the pros to make those challenges be addressed and then worked towards the biggest goals you have set.
It is all about keeping life Simple but full of more good things and meeting new people and forever expanding yourself.
So to get the most out of your days I find changing what I do at the weekend from the week to help make my life variable and not sticking to one routine.
Being a lady who loves blog writing and writing a book I have to be in the mindset of “I need to get ready from the week to the weekend take time to wash my bed clothes for example. Normally I get to see my son and watch some well earned Saturday morning TV”.
I even watch different things at the weekend compared to the week. The one thing me and my ex husband used to do is on Sunday mornings go and have a cup of coffee at a coffee shop, but now not doing that I now find its a proper treat for me as now I hardly by a coffee from a coffee shop and have this at home.
It has saved me money, and I am glad this has changed as it is more cost effective to have a Costas once a month rather than weekly or daily and when you have little money coming in it can feel like a guilty purchase as not having the money can feel like “I’m not going anywhere”.
Now I have more money coming in it is going to make a huge difference and to be successful you do have to think about investing not recklace spending.
I make every penny count and if there is an area where I can save money then I will. It helps keep my mind to have a good mindset and not afraid to look at my bank balance. I have been there where I have avoided it with all I could.
If there is a opportunity to pay in cash then I will as I find with debit you can and I KNOW IT, get carried away.
Hello and welcome! Thank you for the follows and the likes of my blog it really means the world to me. In this post I am talking about The Power of the mind/Looking after your wellbeing.
All our minds are our own and taking charge of your mind is the key to unlocking the endphorines that come with The Power of the mind.
What do I mean?
Well, it is controlling the inner critic and having the positive critic heard more than the one that says “No work today lets sit around all day”, then you feel “I’ve wasted the day and now I feel like I have accomplished nothing”.
Does this sound familiar?
So listen to the inner critic and ask it “If I listen to you how will I feel if I don’t wash my car or take a shower that day?”
Am I gonna feel good, bored or frustrated by the fact the car is still dirty and I feel clammy?
When I was getting up and then going back to bed for an extra snooze I would wake up about 12 and then feel I had lost part of the day, yet now I wake up early and start writing blogs, creating books and other tasks I have, I now feel I have more energy to work on, and then everything else fits into the day too.
Our minds work like a train station, where we start at one platform and place and then once we have completed those tasks and routine of our morning move to the next platform and station. We run by blood, water and bone, and when we run out of steam we can delay our work and proscrinate. We can avoid tasks as we see them as a huge problem and a burden and feel pressure because if we don’t it delays the other tasks we want to do.
Take your time with tasks and block them in the day and the more challenging the task reward yourself so next time we do something we have to do but don’t like we have an incentive to complete it to then move to the next station and do the things we love again.
The more difficult the task the bigger the reward.
It helps to look after yourself and stop neglecting your wellness because we need to let people hop on so we can then move for the second party of the journey and reach the final destination.
I talk about goal setting a lot and when we give ourselves too much to do it can make us more pressured and ends up delaying part of our jobs to move onto the next stop.
When you give yourself just 5 things perlist it eases the pressure and furthers our wellbeing. We aren’t robots but humans and so we need to for our wellness by kinder to ourselves, check out this video where I share the ways in which I do will be doing that: How should we be kinder to ourselves. It is important we give ourselves slack, as we aren’t made to multi-task but me focussed on one thing at a time.
Our minds can get clogged up and so anything you can jot down to schedule do so and then go through the wants to the haves and then circle a few and the less to do’s the more goals we can set.
Look after yourself and give yourself some credit rather than piling on the amount of things to do and enjoy life more.
We aren’t put on this planet to work ourselves to the bone but with balance and stability we can do more by giving ourselves less.
So I have had many Bestfriends, one being my longlasting Friend Hayley and we grew up with eachother as babies and adulthood and our boys, her eldiest was born close to my son Henry, and even though we development different friendships and started to do our own thing, we have always known that eachother are there.
One of my bestfriends in Peabody, who was a sister to me, a girl named Kelly, we would spend days outside on her block having a way of a time, looking after her sibling, her sister and we again drifted appart, but it did kind of give me a sense of worth having a bestfriend. She knew that I was still around and the same that I knew she was, but was attacked by another girl on the estate when we lived, and I was in the same fascinaty when it happened, but I had know idea it was her, but she ended up being brain damaged, and I have never seen her again. I was sad, when I found out she was now in hospital hanging on to life.
It has been discovered that bestfriends can really help in terms of Depression, worry and Anxiety, it can make us feel secure in some way, that there is at least, when you may have many people against you, someone on your side and someone who doesn’t judge or interrupt, but listens, and you can talk about anything and everything.
Back before the internet it was the norm back when I was a kid to play on the streets in the Estate, and it did have value in my life, as we learned to get on with other children and form friends. It was natural source of happiness having friends to ask if they wanted to “Play out” and we would with our bikes, Rollerskates and pushchairs. playout all day long sometimes.
A Bestfriend for me was a good foundation, and it gave me comfort just knowing even if we didn’t see eachother all the time, that they were there as said and going to concerts together, playing Top Of The Pops where we would take turns in singing songs in the charts and doing pretend play again where sometimes we were school teachers, talking in the staff room, in each of our bedrooms and my friend Hayley and I would plan what we were gonna play when she next played and stayed over in my flat and the same when I stayed with her.
Having holidays together, cause you are sharing the memories of them with a bestfriend and its good for the soul to have someone who you have things in common with. So for me yes I think having bestfriend is good for the health as me and my friend Hayley would run up to eachother when we saw one another and played what seemed forever and we were planning one time, that we would live together and have a bedroom just for our Barbies.
So, I shout and gonna campaign to have a Bestfriends day or week to celebrate the Bestfriends we have had in our lives cause they great for the Soul, the mind and makes you physically alive to as you are talking nonstop not feeling awkward or self consciuous but comfortable and content.
In this blog post I am talking about Managing the mind as when we feel self concious it can stop us from achieving the things we want and often reach a full stop, not knowing where we want to go next.
So it is important we look after our minds and take time to deal with critters that creep in and stop you in your tracks. So the first tip is to,
talk to them in you mind.
So sounds a bit mad, but that’s just me. I say to mine “No I will go for a run, or I will fit in a workout indoors”. Having a secret mindful conversation with the inner critic can deal with head on and stop it from controlling what you to and stop you.
Drink something that makes you excel and breath.
I don’t function with my morning cup of tea and coffee, and it just gives me time to breath and focus on my cuppa and be with the world at the same time.
Find a therapy
So this could be Talking to someone, listening to music or reading a book even. Many people even use exercise like Yoga, as it helps you to get in touch with your body and helps you switch off and feel peaceful and calm
Clear Daily cobwebs away
So walking is what helps me with this and so does writing and listening to music as mentioned above, but also I have gotten into the habit of writing in my journal without fail everyday.
I also have been on twitter choosing a song a day that has been part of my life and why I love the song. I also write in another planner/journal of a wish or wishes
Find Stability in your life
So I have a new love in my life. Someone I have known for a long time and they give me stability and I have that part of my life sealed and desperate to see, as we haven’t been able to alot because of COVID. Stabilty can even be delegating jobs. Stop trying to do so much
Have Flexibility in your life
So what do I mean. I don’t always have things set in stone in fact I like to vary the things I do each day, and be ready for any last minute events. This helps stop repetition and becoming bogged down.
Embrace life and people
If you embrace life more, the more of a good life you will lead and this is because you aren’t allowing challenges to prevent you from having a good life with as mentioned above stability and welcoming new things that come into your life and meeting new people.
Leave out the old and live in the new
Words from a song by Dina Carrol “A Perfect Year” Written by Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Sir Tim Rice.
So what do those words mean, well leave the old so the past and focus on a new, the new year. I have been someone who would dwell on the passed events in my life good and bad, and all the things that have taunted and haunted me, but looking back and focusing on good memories, my life wasn’t that bad I just needed to be with the right people, and to have a better life you do need to let many things go.
So be good to yourself. Leave the criter and be you. There are some great mind managing tips on this site: https://www.mind.org.uk/

Hello and welcome! If you have not been following me then I am doing a series of Blogposts and Youtube videos that have Life coaching tips and information and on topics that can effect and that we need to address, to help ourselves move forward to have a better life.
Here is a playlist I have created on Youtube of my Life Coaching videos, and more will be added soon:
So this blog I am talking about How Love can save the day, because love is something that grows within you because it is a natural human instinct, and when someone is down and you don’t pass judgement or have an opinion and listen to them, that is love and means the world to a child or an adult.
We all at some point need reassurance, and just knowing that there is someone out there who loves you, is a great comfort and should be what you should try to focus on if you are having a bad time. I did a video which will be going live on Youtube on Tuesday, and it is about How to deal with events in our lives that are out of our control and if you know someone who is going through that at the moment, just send them a message to say “I just want you to know I love you and here” and those words will mean a million to them.
There are many different types of love and that is the beauty of it. You do get people who abuse it and they are the ones who use it because to them it is just a word. To me it means connection and a feeling that can be empowering and help drive us forward.
I was told by those I know who abuse it, that True Love doesn’t exist. Well funny that because yeah it does and I have found it, and it is the most comforting feeling one can ever have.
If we loved more than more hate would disappear and we would all feel more fulfilled and that we are all here for a reason. So stay strong, stay true and always know that love can conquer all.
Many thanks for reading,
