Getting back on board when you hit a brick wall

Doing things you enjoy, everyone can build a castle, getting back on board when you hit a brick wall, hitting a brick wall, lack of spontaneity, making the most of your time, making time for yourself, recuperation, taking each day as they come, taking it easy, taking time for yourself

Free Online Relaxation Cliparts, Download Free Clip Art, Free Clip Art on Clipart Library

These couple of weeks where I had planned to do lots of work on my books and blogs, do some exercise indoors and outside, training online and plan for next week for when my son goes back to school, I have kind of hit a brick wall.

When that happens it can be hard to get back on track, as I lie in later than normal and feel like hardly doing anything.

Part of it is because I have been on my Menstrual Cycle, so effects my energy and enthusiasm, plus catching up on sleep as when I am looking after my son, I tend to get up early.

When I am feeling like this, lack of spontaneity I just do what I can and give myself extra time to rest and recuperate, knowing I will do more once this fatigue disappears.

Part of being successful is making time for yourself to recharge, and do other things other than work, so I don’t stress about it too much, and take each day as it comes.

Having time to watch a comedy or listen to music is a luxury thing to me now as I don’t always get the time, so it is good to make the time now and again.

Give yourself a day off, which I have done after working seven days a week. I now am going to take Sunday’s off from blogging and concentrate on other things that I want to do, aswell as need to do.

Noone is going to be remembered for keeping up with to do lists, but that they had a fulfilling life and not that I made sure the dishwasher was always cleared each day. At the end of the day it is just housework and can be done at anytime, but watching a film, like my life now being a mum and working for myself, it isn’t something I can do all the time, so when I can I make the most of it.

Time is precious and should be spent with doing and being with the people and things you love, rather something you feel you have to do, to keep people happy, but whats better, having a cuddle with your child or making sure the house is cleared each day? I know which one I choose.

So let us all just breath and just be on some days without worrying about housework and chores. Some days should be about having fun and chilling out.

Soon it will be all systems go again so any quiet and peaceful time I have I will be making the most of it.

If you need a lift of empowerment then play that music

bringing people together, everyone can build a castle, feeling empowered, if you need a lift of empowerment then play that music, music that lifts you, music that makes you smile, powerful music, Talking about music

As I am writing this blog post I am listening to Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr song called Me and My Shadow and boy is it uplifting, just what you need when is the start of another week, and has been a slow start to the day.

Music has been my life and whatever I have been feeling it has put me back on top of the world. I find with music there are some songs that feel like they speaking to me, as often I will play music on how I am feeling, and reflect on my life, passed, present and the future.

When there are days where I feel is a struggle I will put some tunes on my phone whether it be swing, 30’s-60’s music and it literally it empowers me no end, and I don’t know what my life would be like if there was no music.

My influence in music stems from my dad, as he would always play his records, usually a Sunday morning before he went to the pub in Chelsea and we would then meet him there later on in the day.

When we go camping, we would go to this country pub and there would be a massive jukebox and I would play music nonstop and sit by it and sing my lungs out.

The amount of records my dad had, he could have owned a music store, because he had so many from Diana Ross to Pavarotti, it was endless, and listening to my music now as I write this blog helps me keep in contact with my dad, even though he has passed on, it was what kept me and my dad close and has kept his memory alive.

Music brings people together and has helped along with sport, raise money for charity and without music, we would have never known about Bob Geldof, Micheal Jackson, Madonna, The Rap Pack, The Three Tenors or Tom Jones.

So if you are having a day where you don’t feel so good, if you need a lift of empowerment then play that music that makes you smile whilst you do your housework, pot around in the garden or working like I am on the computer, as it can really help life your spirits.

Stay safe everyone, and thank you to those that have followed me on this site it really means a lot.

Many thanks for reading,

Being Productive when you are tired

Being productive when you are tired, doing little bits still counts as being productive, everyone can build a castle, feeling uninspired, having time for yourself, lack of creativity, lack of energy, looking after our wellbeing, looking after your wellbeing, making time to chill and relax, taking time out, Unmotivation

Index of /wp-content/gallery/productivity-cartoons

Let’s face it we all get tired, and it can really drag us down when we feel like our eyes are on the floor. Being productive when you are tired is like playing tennis when your arms are tide up and can’t hit a ball to save our life.

This week I have felt wiped out, that some days I have had to kip during the day whilst my son took part in a School Sports club, and was too tired to do anything else.

You can however still be productive, you just have to do it, at a slower pace and rather doing a load of items on our todo lists, just do one. After all every little bit counts, and when you have more energy then you can do more.

On this site I write alot about being successful, but we aren’t robots, we need sleep, even if it is for a few hours here and there, WE ALL GET BLOODY TIRED, and when we do we must listen to our bodies.

To be successful you have to be awake, as I find when I am super tired, my creativity goes, my enthusiasm is tiny and I just want to hibernate until I come fully alive again.

Productivity isn’t all to do with work, but also adding in rest time and chill time, it isn’t all about rushing around doing job to job, we all need time to rewind and reset ourselves.

We aren’t robots, even though I wish I could hire a robot from time to time as things like wiping my sons bottom isn’t much fun. Don’t get me wrong I love being a parent, but there are jobs I don’t like and that is wiping my son bum when, and I am sorry if this puts you off your dinner, but does a pooh.

I think if we could own a machine that automatically wipes the pooh away from our children, it would sell out in an instant.

Life isn’t about jamming everything in, but doing what you can and making little changes, rather than big ones.

I hope you all have a good weekend, and please remember to follow me on WordPress.com to be kept up to date with my posts.

creating space to live more, creating time for yourself, everyone can build a castle, feeling at peace, having balance in your life, Having lazy days, health and wellbeing, living a life of happiness, living the life you love, mindfulness, walking up london

Hello and welcome to a new blog. Thank you so much for those who have commented on my blogs, it really is great to hear your feedback and glad that you have liked my posts so far.

Image I took when out on one of my walks

In today’s post I am writing about Creating Space to Live more, as I think we can get so struck down with todo lists, looking after our kids (if you are a parent), that we don’t make time to do the other things we love, like catching up with friends, watch a movie or catch up on the football, now that it is back on.

I have gotten into a good pattern now, where I allow myself to have free time other than constantly working, and not taking time out to do the other things I love, like watching TV, exercising indoors, listening to a podcast and just being plain lazy. I love having lazy days, I don’t have these often now, but when I do, do I enjoy it.

Creating space to live more is creating a balance in your life, so you can go skiing, skateboarding or take a break somewhere.

Now I have the weekends to myself I do like to make these my time to get out and do the things I can’t do in the week, when I am looking after my son.

I love to take my time even though I am doing a lot of walking to help me get into shape, check my blog: https://sportsandfitnesscoaching.com/

I don’t walk fast but listen to some music or an audio book on my phone as I am walking, taking in the surroundings and just be peaceful, not having to rush and take some time sitting down enjoying the scenery when I can too.

I want that life where I work but not all the time, and can take my son on holiday and go the seaside if I want to. It is all about drive and doing the things you set out to do, but not working to the point where I feel drained but that has a purpose.

I want all my days have a meaning and a reason for getting up each day and not feeling stressed because I didn’t get to post that blog I wanted or didn’t get to write that bit in my book yet. Time will come, and its not about rushing but doing.

Lets live the life we want and follow our hearts aswell as our dreams.

What to do when you are stressed?

block scheduling, Creating happiness, everyone can build a castle, Feeling overwhelmed, feeling stressed out, focusing on one task at a time, multitasking, running a business and home, slow down, taking care of your wellbeing, what to do when you are stressed

Free stress control classes on offer | Lurgan Mail

When it comes to running a home and running a business you can end up feeling somewhat stressed, making you self sabotage and not wanting to do anything. but push it away.

The one way I deal with stress is I get up and I go out or I will take just a minute or so to breath and register the stress. Please check out my parenting blog where I talk about Reducing Parenting Stress.

Stress can creep up on you, and take over your body. I remember as a teenager at Secondary school I had a load of blisters and Ulcers at the bottom of my mouth, and I went to the doctor as my immune system kept getting rather low, the doctor diagnosed it as stress.

I remember thinking “What? How come?” but thinking back I was often stressed at school, because I did feel under pressure because I never consider myself as being academic, and felt out of my depth a lot of the time.

I would get worked up when it came to doing PE and having to run around the school we used to do or the beep test. I hated doing those, and was so unfit, that I wished the ground would swallow me up.

As an adult I thought life would be easier once I had my own place, and went to work, but it can increase. I for a long time and even now at times, I can be a super stress head, worrying about my son and school, my financial situation, my living arrangements, it can all mount up.

Mel Robbins who I talk a lot about in my blog posts, because I think she is so real and gets it, did a video a week or so ago about What she does when she is stressing the F**k out, see below:

Stress can get anyone and cause problems to your body if you don’t do anything about it. Never ignore the stress as it will just build up until you explode, and let it all out, but take a step back and let it come through and then focus on a time you have not stressed and find a picture of your younger self and see if you still feel stressed. once you have looked at this picture. Tell that picture of how you feel and what your mindset was back then, when you were a child, do you feel stressed? Happy go lucky?

Then go through what is going on in your life and do a step to step plan of how you are going to conquer the items that need to be completed and break them up.

Often we can give ourselves so much to do, that we forget, we are only one person and anyone would be stressed having to do 26 jobs in a day. Break it up and start circling the most important items, and how you complete each task and stop multitasking. I thought at one time that was how you get things done, but it isn’t because you can end up not finishing a job at all, and feel like you haven’t accomplished anything.

Focus on one item at a time, and create yourself a block schedule, so example:

6am – 7am Get up, have shower and get ready for the day

7am- 8am Make all beds and start cleaning around the house, putting items away as I go

8am – 10am Work on the computer and go through email.

I write many journals and so I always keep a journal to write down my feelings if I am unhappy about something and the things that are bothering me.

It is all about finding that thing that makes you take a deep breath and say “I am gonna be ok and I can get through this and I will rein myself in to just concentrate of feeling peace within myself again”.

Take regular breaks within your day to enjoy a coffee without having to do any work and just be with your cup of coffee until it is finished.

Take your time. I remember when I worked at a holiday resort, and this guy saying to me “Slow down it isn’t a race” and in that moment I did, I didn’t realise how fast I was going. I was so used to working at a fast pace that I forgot about my colleagues, as this would often stress them out as they often couldn’t keep up with me, so I did I just stopped and then slowed down.

So I hope you have a good weekend as it is Saturday once again and if you are not following me on WordPress.com and would like to, then please click the follow button below.

image for my Good Customer Service online course

Hello and welcome it is a new week and I have some good news. I have now launched my new Online Course in Good Customer Service. I have worked in Customer Service for a good amount of years and wanted to do something to help others wishing to work in the same area.

Online study doesn’t have to be rocket science but something you will benefit from and will help you gain knowledge and understanding so you can do your job more effectively.

All businesses need customers and so making sure 100% customer satisfaction is done you do need to make sure you are giving the correct vibe to the customer, to order products from your company.

So without further a do, here is the link to my new course, many thanks for reading:

create an online course, developing an online business, developing your business, everyone can build a castle, how to still run a business during lockdown, keep building your empire, sell items online, working through the pandemic

Free Person On Computer Clipart, Download Free Clip Art, Free Clip ...

There are many things that can stop us in our tracks, like the Pandemic, if you have had to stop working because of it and being furloughed, but if you are like me a blog writer and want to keep building your empire then crack on, as unlike most professions, blog writing can continue on, as you can’t spread COVID 19 through the computer, so stick to it.

If you run a business then remember that many people will be taking advantage of being lockdown by purchasing online, so consider this and if you don’t run your business online, then sit down and come up with a plan of how you can still run your business online.

If you are not technically minded when it comes to the internet then why not take the time off you have, to do some training. Some local libraries and stores such as Whsmiths are open, so why not go in there and see if there is a book you can buy to help you.

Employ if you can an assistant who can do the online work for you and do some research of different online platforms you can use to build your business online, and if you making items then remember there are some great online stores like Etsy,  shopify, Not on the high street.com, Amazon and Ebay.

You can create an online course for people to take if there is a profession that you want to share with people and help them develop skills in that area. I do mine on a the website: https://www.thinkific.com/

There are so many things you can do so why not sit down and go over how you can develop your business into an online empire instead.

Never stop believing

aim high, aiming for big and better things in life, always have an aim in mind, continue to believe and visualise your success, continuing your aim to be successful, everyone can build a castle, keep going and you will succeed, learn who you are, look of success, never stop believing, successful blogger

Believe in yourself quote: Don't stop believing in yourself. No ...

When things aren’t going the way you want them to go, it can be frustrating and feel like the bad luck will never end, but trust me it will.

Of course it depends on what it is and if it is a loss of a love one then in my opinion is something you’ll ever get over, but it becomes easier to deal with over time.

To succeed in life you have to continue to believe and visualise your success whatever it may be and never stop believing.

If you need time to be on your own and enjoy your own company for once then do so. I always do this if I feel something is becoming too much and then when I know I am ready I will return or plan on moving on to a new chapter (please read my previous post: Creating new chapters into our lives)

Get to know who you are; I think as we reach teenage years it can often be when we start to look at ourselves for the first time and be confused of who we are meant to be. I found being a teenager sometimes especially at school out of my depth and knew from early on that I was never meant for a 9 to 5 job but something different and more than that.

That is something that has become stronger and more powerful to the point I have never wanted to exceed more than I do now. I want to build my own success with help along the way if I can have it, and be a successful writer.

It is all about continuing your aim to be successful in whatever you want to be, setting yourself targets and developing yourself to be the success you have always dreamed of, just keep going and never allow anyone to hold you back.

Many thanks for reading,
