heading to a new year, learning from current year to the new year, my year 2021, reflecting over the year

Hello and welcome! thank you for taking the time to read my blogs and your feedback means a lot, and I know that my blogs are helpful to you and is reaching out to you.

In this blog I a talking about reflecting over the year, and it has been a mixture of good and bad. Yet compared to last year a lot better and accomplished a lot, yet there have been years where I haven’t and often I feel that I get left behind.

For my last son’s swimming lesson for this year, I couldn’t find my sons goggles and swimming hat and I often lose items and get annoyed with myself so from this year is to stop rushing and take my time. In the end I went out early to buy him another pair of goggles and swimming hat, and so made me see that it can workout even if it is getting stuff at last minute.

I was in a mental health hospital and was a break I needed and saw more about people being in two of these hospitals as they all are there to get themselves back on track, with their life and not feel alone in their mental health and I did build good relationships in both the hospitals.

To reflect I separate my goals quarterly now and has made a huge difference to getting projects completed, I have already set out quarterly goals for next year and going to write them up on paper I have stored in my old home in Epsom, to put up on the wall.

I have learned so much from this year, setting myself challenges like 21 day challenges and 30 day ones, made me surprised of what I can accomplish in short time and implimented new habits into my life, like setting things up the day before rather than on the day, and spending time to sort my space I have out, managing motherhood with things I need to get done, it just helped me see that I can make the most of time and have time watching TV rather than Youtube, and giving myself some credit and have some self care.

I do look after my skin and realised what true things mean the world to me. Like taking my son out and monitoring my time spent and enjoying walking and travelling.

I love to travel and so will take these to the next year and accomplish even more.

I have created a printable about Dividing your time:

dividing-your-lifeDownload

I hope you find this helpful and so Merry Christmas and a happy new year

adapting to unexpected events, building your life, changing the routes to your life, expanding your life, last post of my writing challenge

Hello and welcome! This is the last post as part of my 30 day challenge where I have been posting on this site daily and glad I did. This is it for my daily blogs and thank you for the follows and likes I have received and sorry to bombard your inbox of my posts I just wanted to see if I could do it and to grow my content more but now will go back to posting on this site once a week.

In this post I talking about Changing the Routes to your life from a brainstorm I did before I this challenge and I have already covered on this site about Changing the story of your life and journey which became an EBook check out Amazon.com and under the name Carrie Lee Holmes and making small changes to your life and to do that you do need to make decisions on the route to lead you to having a better life and build it up to an everlasting change.

I have taken different routes in my life like a complete career change to working in Butlins Bognor Regis, temping and then returning to work in London and Chessington etc, and glad I did because it what worked at the time. Now I am ready for a new set of challenges by taking further routes and expanding myself I am glad to have found writing again.

I am able to look at myself now and think “Your doing okay and stay on this route it is heading onto more good things and keeping my spirits high”.

Sometimes it means sitting down again and going back to the drawing board to take a different route and setting new goals.

Scrapping goals is okay as unplanned events can take over and so changing goals is not failure it is re-routing your plans and adapting them to unexpected avenues that have cropped up, and develop new skills and changing the view of your situation.

I have been lucky that I have worked for many organisations and now ready to expand even more and because I was in a Mentalhealth hospital for a month, it really made me re-order my life and made me more guarded and choose my next route to grow myself even further.

Many thanks for reading,

build a life you love, getting your life back to normality, have a destination of where you want to be when making changes, making small changes into your life, taking up a hobby

Hello it is day 29 and one day to go until I have completed my 30 Day Challenge to post a blog a day and I have enjoyed it.

It is amazing how you, my auidence has liked it and sorry for filling up your inbox’s being a follower I wanted to see if I could do it and if you right a blog why not give it a try.

In this blog post I am talking about Getting your life back to normality and making small challenges.

6,356,077 Happy People Photos - Free & Royalty-Free Stock Photos from Dreamstime

So the first step is have a destination of where you want the final outcome to be. If you want to begin running for example: What is you vision once you have started to run. Is it to take on a Marathon for a good cause? To do it to overcome a medical reason? Like me my blood sugar level was extremely high and had to change medication and change my diet and lifestyle, buy running each week and start small and then gradually build.

When it comes to making changes its always about having positive results at the end and so the second step would be, find ways that suits you that will helps you reconnect with yourself and with other people.

You speak to someone who you can say how you feel, and not be held against you, but will support you.

I take refuge in keeping a journal and I know its not rocket science and “Yes we’ve heard it before” but that is because even drawing pictures of how you feel can also help you and get in touch with your thoughts and fears. Many an Artist liked to draw and paint out their current thoughts and their are some Adult Community Colleges who teach on creating art.

This is a great way to meet new people and findng new hobbies I wrote about this before hobbies in a parenting blog post check out my parenting blog I write called: https://theparentingadventurestipsandtricks.wordpress.com its never too young to learn something new so why not take up a hobby such as creating art and there are many online courses you can do too.

When it comes to changes it means declutter what you no longer need in your life and so it is good to go through your home of the things you still love and the things you don’t. This is something you can do for everything and that includes sentimental items and things you have won and collected that no longer mean anything to you.

Recycling items. I have used a pot noodle pot as a pen holder and have a box that stores my stickers for my planners and anything filed away on your computer or physically.

It is all about getting rid of the old and bringing in the new. I do write blogs about organization on my google blogspot sites:

addressing your faults, being happy for others, building happiness, good relationships, self help blog

Hello and welcome! This is blog number 27 and in this post I am talking about Addressing my faults and Being Happy for others

369,327 Two People Hugging Photos and Premium High Res Pictures - Getty Images

This is someone who had many faults, I used to butt in when having a conversation. I do switch off which isn’t a fault as such but for some people it can be and why I didn’t continue to do driving lessons and have gotten jealous and begrudging. Being on the other side of that they are not good traits to have and once you are on the receiving end of such emotions how it can turn into something unworthy and anger from them, who do feel that way.

I see them also as bad habits and bad behaviour and its the question is, “Do you want people to be happy and living a dream and or unhappy?”

“Do you want anger from others as does it make you feel better when they are?”

Everyone deserves happiness weather you like them or not and I find its those that always complain and never satisfied and nothing pleases them.

“Do I want people to see me in this way?” Of course not. I want the world to be a better place and stop war if I could and end suffering.

I dont want to see anyone homeless or anyone being hurt where they ca’t defind themselves, who would want that?

There are people who are just unkind and always want you to see you fail and that makes me sad rather than anger cause it can spiral out of them being isolated and alone.

We all have fleurs but there are those that learn from it and those that don’t and feel they are always right all of the time and I am not afraid of saying that I am wromg and have in many ways but I still come out of it still standing and we will make mistakes and working on ourselves is important in being received by people for good and not bad. So setting boundaries and rules for yourself is the way.

Lets #BeKind and #BeSmart.

Hello and this blog is to say Thank you once again for your support whilst I complete this monthly challenge and gonna do this each month. I really love these challenges and it’s really been a mindful challenge. I see how many blogs I can do and it keeps me on my toes to write more and have my blogs be as good as the last one.

I HAVE 9 DAYS TO GO!

Here are 6 ways on how you can challenge yourself too:

  1. Learning to drive. This I have tried but failed as I was not mentally ready to learn but did cause I thought I should. I am on medication for my Mental Health so can’t do this challenge, but wanted to make this the first because if you want to learn why not have a lesson each day if possible or a few days per week and challenge yourself 30 week challenge instead
  2. Read a book in a day, week or each month. I really would like this to be one, and do this challenge for the month as I love to read and see if I can do complete it. Great way to visit charity shops, the library or kindle and see how many you can read each week or month
  3. Take a photo of different things for 30 days and share on instagram or twitter. This is one that is in the Mrs Hinch Activity journal and again one I would like to eventually do myself
  4. Exercise for 30 days. You can ask your friends to join and go on walks or runs together and good for getting family involved too. Or go to the gym now they will be back open or if there is an outdoor gym near you and take advantage and see how it helps the mind and the body.
  5. Write in a journal for 30 days and reflect on each day of how it was. Journal writing is great to clear your minds and get rid off those cobwebs when doing so
  6. Do a bit of gardening each day for 30 days. Sorting out the garden many find theruptic and if you have kids this can be a good one too

being prepared of unplanned events, how to handle bad days, life coaching blog, mishaps, prevention, self help blog

First of all Thank you for your feedback I have had so far. It really means the world to me and this is Day 20 of my 30 day blog challenge whereby I have been blogging on this site once a day for 30 days.

Bad Day stock photo. Image of business, male, computer - 437178

I have written similar blog like this, How to handle days when it all goe tits up and today it is “When things go tits up”, like missing your train, forgetting your mobile and having to go back and get it, you’ve fallen down a man hole in the street, go soaked in the rain and no umbrella. I am a person where it is “More or nothing” kid of a gal and when it goes wrong it does.

My son this week wasn’t well and felt sick at school, so thankfully I was contacted to pick him up, Being a mum you will have to do that too at some point and often we will stressed because you have taken him school and seemed okay and then due to the heat can have a full blown meltdown, without your control.

Remember it will pass its that kids show their emotions more than us adults and so they will find it hard in the heat, so when he got in we played out in the garden cause he just needed fresh air and was done, and went back to school next day and just in case I got there early to pick him up again as he has now finished school for the summer, and took him as promised the day before, o the train and then he wanted to get on a bus and we did that too.

Kids will get sick and I as a child was often sick. Anything going around I caught luckily I have been well through the COVID pandemic, but are more vulnerable caue of their immune systems still developing. Its life and so I focus on “What can I do to help prevent this” rather than I don’t know what to do. Check out my new parenting blog about blog I wrote on my site: https://theparentingadventurestipsandtricks.wordpress.com called Children and being sick.

Spend time reflecting over the misshap if it plays on your mind and what could you have done differently and go through list of prevention. Pehaps giving kids a multi-vitamin each day to help their immune systems, perhaps have two phones a home one and a mobile so the school can call both.

Its spending time to evaluate and measure how bad it was. What helped and what didn’t.

So, just breath and honestly do what you can and prepare for things that give you a bad day.

blog 18 of 30 day challenge, creating abundance, creating dreams and promises, self belief, self help post

Hello and welcome to a new blog and posting on this blog site for 30 days and it is Day 18 and in this blog I am talking about Creating Dreams and Promises to yourself.

To become the person you want to be often is already there but it has taken a while for you to see it. I live by wanting to be the best version of myself and want to help others to do the same. We often can fear that we aren’t good enough and these feelings can grow to stop us in our tracks and standing still for to long can drive us all crazy.

  • Value yourself
  • Own your own mind
  • Initiat change to your current life
  • Clear away mental clutter
  • Everyone you we meet have a value and measure how good they are with you.
115,093 Voice Photos - Free & Royalty-Free Stock Photos from Dreamstime
  • If we get knocked down get back up feeling even better and be your own leader.
  • Be truthful to yourself.
  • Allow judgement but stand up for yourself.
  • Be free and if their are others pulling you towards a dark tunnel that is their fears not yours.
  • Build yourself to give promises to yourself and never fear you r capabilities

When you have created dreams and promises have them displayed so you can remember them and take picture on your phone and you can read the and change them again as you continue to work towards them.

Have regular meeting with people who are helping you of any events that have cropped up and you need support in dealing with them, and never fear wanting help from others.

Remember we all have the right to be a success and so remember to set goals for you and others supporting you and keep it forever growing.

Many thanks for reading,

achievements, Creating success in your life, having bad days, just when you thought your dream was taken away, look after your wellbeing

Hello and welcome! So I amended my blog from yesterday as I jumped ahead thinking it was my 14th blog already but no it was my 12th blog and now carrying on with challenge as it is DAY 13!

In this blog post I am talking about, Just when you thought your dream was taken away.

Having Bad Day Stock Illustrations – 29 Having Bad Day Stock Illustrations, Vectors & Clipart - Dreamstime

If you have hit some hurdles in your life you can often be surprised of what card has been handed to you and you think “Wow well I didn’t see that coming” when often we do but we ignore it and can often be in denial.

I have been knocked down a lot in my life and I think that is why I am here today because I have had to often fight for my place in life and life can become a tug of war.

So, just when I thought I wouldn’t get the Job back when I first started work I get the phone call that I got it, when I was travelling do the Great North Run thought that I wouldn’t be able to complete it, but checking the map for the first time as I took my time to get up the north england I finished in less time that initially planned.

When I thought the cup when going to dancing school and thought I’d never get it would be handed to someone else I won it and go to keep it for a year and then left due to work and then after writing to many football clubs before trying to find a full time job, became a Steward for a season at Fulham Football club and then got to do work experience helping the groundman too.

I thought this blog would just get a few followers I am now in the hundreds of followers and I thank you all for that as I honestly have not expected it, but yes, got great feedback and that means the world to me.

So you can achieve whatever you want just never stop believing and dreaming as more goods thing are always on the cards, you just have to fight your way sometimes, but reading the blog over I am proud of myself and I don’t feel guilt for doing so, and neither should any of us.

achieving success in your life, becoming the best in the world, building your life to be a success, good ways to learn from the Euros, monday weekly blog post

Hello and welcome to blog 11 and I have talking about the what we can learn from Euros and becoming the best in the world.

Check out my Monday Chat video:Talking football and what is coming up in terms of content this week.

Well first off what is your niche? Who are you? When you think about your life as it is how would you rate it from 1 being awful, 10 being the happiest you have ever been.

Motivational Quotes: 200+ Inspiring Quotes to Win 2021

So what can we learn:

  1. Never give up. Life is full of paths ones we take without thinking and ones we often can question.
  2. If you had a points table how would you score yourself. Is there anything peronally you want to work on and build
  3. Be fully charged. Find items that gives you maximum energy and happiness. Footballers don’t just go out and play football but have daily habits that they do before a match. So a ritual can help to prepare for the day and any challenges that come your way

Becoming the best in the world:

  1. Take on the challenges and look at the competition and research things that noone else ever mentions and have good system that helps build yourself to be best at what you truly love to do, not just on the day but will help accomplish goals for the year
  2. Write down the fears you have and address each one and how you can overcome them
  3. Be your own judge and reflect on each task you do and is it something you enjoy or something you feel you have to do?
  4. Focus your mind on the ultimate reward. So rehearse in your mind of the receiving the car you want or the home you want
  5. Log each achievement done and again rehearse completing them and that is each step you take too

We all want that break where at last you get noticed for your what you do and thank you for following me and liking blogs it really means the world to me.

Many thanks,

Carrie X
