Now I know we are in Lockdown still but we have to face the fact that it looks like it won’t be shifting anytime soon, but we can still create positivity and even create more knowing we haven’t got to rush anywhere.
Organize a space a day. So I am not an organization enthusiast at all, it always gets put at the back of the list but doesn’t mean I don’t try. I love pottering around and when I had my own place, I would see a place that needed sorting out and just did it. It doesn’t have to be something that takes all day. I am moving soon, it is definite in London, and so looking forward to it and yes be organizing the best I can, to make it homely and comfy, which for me is important and with my new man
Add a new positive habit. So each morning I will spend sometime journalling, go through my notepad to help keep tabs with what I have done each day and that needs to be done, and journal using my new Mrs Hinch Activity Book and now I choose a song to tweet and is music that has been part of my life. Plus I write in one of my planners things I wish to do each evening before I shut up shop for the day
Take up a new skill. I love doing short online courses and will be doing more and I have some Online courses in Customer Service and it is great to learn different things and it is so easy to do now we have the joy of the internet. Check out my Education Network: https://carrieseducationnetwork.thinkific.com/
Read a bit a day. If you are struggling to read a book then have time set each day to do some and what I do often is try to, depending on the length of a book, is to read a chapter a day. I love reading and it can take me a while at times, but is something I have loved as a kid and it just helps me switch off and do something for myself each day.
Read other motivation blog posts and article. As part of my job as a writer I do have to often do research and read other blogs and articles. Let me just add I do not copy but it is for inspiration and motivates me to keep creating original content of my own and be in touch with the blog writing world. Here is one blog I enjoy reading via a site called Bloglovin: https://theeverygirl.com/
Do from 5 to 10 minutes of exercise a day. I do like to exercise but since being run down I haven’t done any for a few weeks but when I do it does relax me in a funny kind of way and helps get up and get out of bed each day. See my site where I talk about keeping fit: https://sportsandfitnesscoaching.com
Eat one healthy meal a week if not everyday and plan a fun meal each day. I love theme meals some days and it just helps with being happy to cook and motivates me to buy certain foods, each week. Check out my blog site: https://carrieshomestyleandfashion.wordpress.com site where I do a weekly Shopping ideas and Meal ideas weekly post
Create an online course of your own. I love developing new Online courses as well as enrolling on them and it can be so easy now. There is Thinkific and Skillshare where you can set up courses with no costs involved
Life doesn’t have to be the same everyday and you still being in Lockdown can have fun and be with family.
Never be stuck in a rut but make changes that will help you through this Pandemic and remember with the wonders of the Internet and modern technology we can still socialise and have a Zoom meeting each week to interact with people we still have in our lives and remember Facetime too.
Many thanks for reading,

So as part of my Project 2021, which is a Life Coaching Programme I am putting together to help you my readers of my blog post try to have a better year than last and with that I want to put up a lot of Slogans too, and here I show a Slogan on one of my jumpers from Amazon, which Says “Be Kind” and is featured in my first Project 2021 video.
This first Youtube Video dedicated to this programme Project 2021 is about using Laughter to help make you feel better about passed issues and events, and can help you feel better about the things that once bothered you. Laughter is a great source of medicine to being more happy about life.
I will be adding this footage to the Online Course I want to do too, dedicated to this Life Coaching Programme, and I have linked my first blog on this site about 2021, below, so go ahead and see the link which includes the link to my dedicated Facebook Group too.
Being able to laugh at situations can really help you through the days and weeks, and when I have days where I feel a bit down, I try to find items that will make me laugh and feel better.
It is a great source of happiness and those endorphins aren’t to be missed but taken advantage of, and you will soon be happier about things that have taken place in your life, which at first seemed to be the hardest moments; I find writing items in my books that I found humorious to be a great way to do that, as well as sad times, and sometimes writing sad stories you can still add a comical stamp on it.
So keep going, stay strong and never give up believing.
Many thanks for reading,
Carrie (L.M) X

Hello and welcome! First of all thank you for all your lovely comments on my posts and for following me on this site and getting me to 100 followers. It really does mean the world to me, and helped me get through 2020.
I feel in some way I should make a speech, but as I am a rambler a lot, I won’t spare you the pain.
So it is 2021 a New Year:
I have come up with a new programme called PROJECT 2021, which will include,
Goals
Habits
Targets
Prioritizing
Building
Creating
Learning
To do all these things you need to paint the picture. Now I am no Vanguff, in fact far from it, but nevertheless, when I set a goal I also create the picture, and map out the things I wish to accomplish whether it be writing a new book or try a different type of exercise routine, I map it out.
I suppose you can say that it is a form of brainstorming, and the one method you can do is like a road map and marking out each milestone you achieve as you continue on the road, to reach the ultimate target, and goals should have an end result.
To get much more out of a New Year, you should always prioritse, as the other important thing, which I talk a lot about on this site and will be getting you to focus on a lot, is having down time. Time where you stop work and you schedule in time to play with the kids and have a family meal together. That is just two examples.
I have been guilty in working all through the days and weeks, because I get so ingrosed in my work that often I forget to do this too. It should be top priority aswell as the work you need to get done or exercising for example.
Life is about making the most of the time and days, as much as possible, and that is not putting 25 things down for a day, but keep to a minimal list, so you have a purpose and a goal each day, and doing the things you love aswell as the things you have to do.
Here is my Pinterest board with some material I have pinned that will help you get involved in Project 2021, as I have added some articles and pins, with many Life Coaching tools, and more will be added as I continue to help you grow this year, like never before.
So to begin please join my facebook group and follow my Pinterest page above, and you will have full access to these materials, and there will be an online course created for this programme, with Youtube Video Content and some EBooks too.
Please check out my Facebook Group page which you can join and be part of my Project 2021, here is the link below:
Hello and welcome to my weekly Inspiring Stories post. This week I am talking about the musicality of the musical agenious, Fatboy Slim.
Now if you didn’t know he was in a band called, The Housemartins in my favourite decade the 80’s, and co-wrote many records such as the most famous one, “Happy Hour Again”, and the other song that they sang live in concert and is on Youtube,”The Caravan Of Love”.
He then once the band split up in the 80’s, continued to write and produce more music hits such as the “Weapon of Choice” and this song has a brilliant video featuring Christopher Walkin, who is a brilliant actor and just goes with the song.
Fatboy Slim is now a Top DJ and has played at many clubs, such as Minitry Of Sound and The Hammersmith Palais, which I would often visit being in my home town. It isn’t there anymore, but was a great place for music artistis, producers and DJ’s beginning their careers. He met his wife Zoe Ball through a famous Saturday morning TV show, which was Going Live on BBC 1.
He still produces music, but was diagnosed with having Crohn Disease so has been spending time with his family and friends that are very close to him. He and Zoe, who recently had her own morning show on a Saturday, DJ’s on Radio 1 and hosted It Takes Two for Strictly Come Dancing, have had children together and keep being reported of being split up, but they have not and love each other out of this world, in that she has helped raise awareness of Crohn Disease, aswell as helping him produce more music.
Fatboy Slim helped develop the band, The Housemartins and worked in music from a very young age of 16 as his dad was a record producer and Radio DJ, but he too was diagnosed with Crohn Disease, and lost his battle a couple of years ago.
Zoe has helped raise awareness of Crohn Disease as there isn’t much information of why and when a person has it, and if it is heriditory or not, but has been on programmes like This Morning which is a Magazine show on the UK channel ITV, talking about it.
Here is the famous song by Fatboy Slim, “Weapons Of Choice” with the brilliant video that was made:
He loved music as a kid and would spend endless days in his bedroom creating music like me, with a keyboard and guitar, which his dad bought for him and some of his songs stemmed from when he was a kid.
I think this goes to show that even as a child when many adults thought that kids didn’t know better, do and as they say “The Rest Is History”, and when creating music or books even as a kid helps to remember that it isn’t just a job like any other, and something to celebrate and remember that kid all those years back.
If you would like to know more about Crohn Disease then check out this link below about it:
I hope you all have a good new year and I will be back with another Inspiring story next week.
Hello and welcome! So each week I am going to write about inspiring people and the one person I would like to talk about is Barbara Windsor, who was in all the Carry on Films, did many stage plays and pantos, and just as I wrote this blog, it came into my head and i remember I did see her in real life, where she played the Fairy in the Panto favourite, Dick Whittington. This was on at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith.
There has been many things I have forgotten and that was one of them. It was the same one where I saw Sue Pollard and Burnie Winters, and the ladies who organized and put together Girl Night on our estate got the tickets to take us to see it.
Uncle Bark loved her and wanted her to be in porridge and play his daughter or wife, but it never happened that way, and Sid James was a bit of a geezer fell for her instantly but felt she was to good for him and said she should be with a nice young man, not someone like him. They didn’t have a love affair but played alongside the press to make out they did.
Sid James saw Lady Barbara as a little sister and would have never used her, as he was a very private guy and loved his wife to bits and so kept her to himself as she wished. He honoured women and never abused any that came in contact with him.
They were really good friends and he took her under his wing and made sure noone harmed her in anyway. Sid James could be the nicest guy in town but if you pissed him off, he would be a typical Londoner and thump then without a second thought.
Barbara Windsor as Peggy was her, as she was like me, petite, a good pair of breasts and sweet if we knew you to be nice but can turn if she came in contact with an arsehole, and never would have worked with people who were like that. She respected people who loved her work and loved her fans, and liked those who respected people like she did too, and sadly she died in a Care Home, which she never wanted.
I know we have seen her boobs, and she laughs because if that had been herself she would have never done any of that, but actors like Barbara would instantly go into their charactor to help give them the confidence to do that kind of bravodo.
Barbara had acted since she was a child and was in adverts to begin with. Her mum wanted her to act, but her father never. You see I wish to make it on TV too, but I have the same story, because someone has been stopping me and I won’t say who, but they know who they are.
She was determined to create her dream into reality, and so when her parents split her mum who looked after her, but her dad still had his way, but he was arrested for fraud, as he allowed her to be famous as long as he got her wage not her.
It is tough when your guardians who should be on the same page go against each other and don’t want the best for you. I have learned this year, that there are a lot of selfish people out there, and should be left behind.
Her first Carry on she did, was Carry on the Empire, but this was never released as it was seen to be too rauchy. Had her dad intervene? only she would know, she could have been sewed as one character was going to send up her father, along the producers and writers who made those films.
They didn’t want to be put in the newspapers as too dirty for TV, so they scraped it and made a new one.
They had to scrap, Carry on the Empire, when they were on the last days of filming and a telegram was sent to the Director or producer and it was never released. Carry on films never took 2 minutes to make, some would take up an entire summer and they never had the technology we had back then, and the stunts you see in these films were done in one take usually and and it was better to film in good sunny weather or warm, rather than cold, but Carry on Camping was as you see it a muddy field.
It never stopped raining but had to go with it, as it made the film real life like as that is typical English weather.
The first carry on film was in 1964 and was approved by the TV Broadcasting film directors of the BBC. They were on at picture houses, which are now called Cinemas, but any british films had to be approved by these board of TV Directors and didn’t like a lot of nudity or anything seen as graphic.
Yet there had been a change of personnel, who did like this film and so it was able to be completed and watched at every cinema in London and then the rest of the UK.
Barbara was a thorough bred, she was a Londoner through and through, and even the Queen loved and adored her. She was adored by so many because even I saw her again in Bayswater, she had this multicoloured all in one body suit, and I regret saying this but I did, and that “My mum looked better than her”. I am sorry Barbara, I don’t even know where that came from, looking back you do see things very differently, but no Barbara you were a household name and a model sometimes, for a reason, as she liked her privacy too, and was very aware of what some of her picture attracted and didn’t want to be seen turning towards the bad side of fame, in anyway, and was naturally beautiful, and dressed as a Londoner who’s life had changed, and dressed as if she was still in the 60’s.
The eastend girl loved her Pie ‘n’ mash and visiting Petticoat Lane market, and you wouldn’t believe it, but many of her clothes and items she bought were from the market and rarely wore designer. Accasionally it would be High street, and she did like to have the designer treat once or twice a year, but like me she liked Market products because back when markets were around it wasn’t knocked off goods, they were handmade and a one off.
A famous costume of mine that I were when holidaying in Clacton, came from a market stall down North end road and was when I first met my new love Lee. So you see, “Once you are a Londoner, you’ll always be a Londoner and a market isn’t a market if it doesn’t have a fruit and veg stall, odds and sods, and glad rags”.
Barbara did have a house in Chelsea too and would live there too when she would be doing Panto’s and plays in London, and not far from where I spent a lot of my childhood and where my family are from, as my family are mainly from the South West of London, but she liked looking in the shops down the Kings Road, Chelsea.
The East Londoner, did receive a honoury award for her work on Televsision and being Peggy Mitchel, which relaunched her career and had the catchphrase “Get out of my pub” which me and my friends at the rugby would reinact.
The one thing most people don’t know about Eastenders they are home grown actors and mostly have come from the Eastend or the Southwest, but you’ll rarely see appart from once an actor from up north being a Londoner, if they did speak Northen England Language that was real, and so are the Londoners in it. Every cast member is a true Londoner and that is why it stands out, the same as Coronation Street, who are true Northeners and are competition, but they stand out from the others.
I have stopped watching Eastenders now, but there was a time where I did watch it religiously, but some topics are a bit too close to home, and so staying clear of it. However, it is a long running soap opera and continues to grow along with the cast, but yes if you wondered that, then that is true and you will never see a non Londoner doing a London accent as soap writers like to keep it pure as possible, hence why Barbara Windsor loved it so much.
Barbara Windsor was a true Londoner who never changed but grew as we all grew up, and even if you didn’t know her, you always felt you did.
Here is a video of some images and highlights of her life, in an ITV tribute:
She will be missed, and it is sad that her life has ended as I think she would have still liked to be remembered not for having Demita but for her effortless acting and the smile that lit up the room, and made you feel welcomed and if you had known her for years.
As Uncle Bark used to say “A lady isn’t a lady who wines and dines all of the time, where frilly frocks, but someone who can be femine and masculine at the same time, yet still turn people heads wherever they go”.
Barbara, there is a G and T waiting for you, and tell Uncle Bark to use his own jokes not mine. So Goodnight from him and Goodnight to her, as we raise the curtains in our hearts forever more.
Here is one of Barbara Windsors songs and I sang as a kid, as I always knew I’d end up in Wimbledon as there was a Prince and is one around the corner. Barbara did have a good man in her life, but kept him a secret and he never got to say these last words to her “Thanks you my treasure the love heart you gave to me, if you isee you bursting I’ll take you to have a Pee, and when you fall I will lift you up, and when someone stabs you in the back I’ll raise a sword to their heads and say don’t over step the mark you tramp, she’s my bird not yours, so get up and move on your bore. She is mine and one day when we meet it will be the best drink she’s ever had. God bless you, my Barbara, my treasure forever more”.
I love people like Barbara Windsor, as she was so real and loved the fame that came with her acting career and never shyed away from anyone and made everyone feel comfortable and as if she was your mum, too. Merry Christmas Barbara and I will be having my Snowball this year so cheers.
So I suppose you wondering if I had met her or not?
Some may question, and I want you to tell me if I am lieing or not. I love this show, and so did Barbara, but never got the chance so I am playing would I lie to you, through my blog, for her, let me say this to help you if I knew her, Does a bear shit in the woods?
I created two online courses and another one is being developed. So I will let you know when this course will be available. See link to my education network below:
I am working on 3 books at the moment as I am re-writing my first book of The Parenting Adventures Pregnancy to the first 9 months. I will let you know when this is published, a comedy and a rewritten book called the Peabody Years.
So to go into 2021 and be more productive, I am going to draft a load more blogs to post, as there is so much I wish to share, and slow down a bit more.
Check out article called: 20 Secrets to live a happier life, via the link above.
You can still be productive and take it easy too, but just focusing on 2-3 things each day and week, is much better than doing a whole 25 things to do list. I was doing this and then would blow myself out, and I do take a break from it too, in parts of the year.
JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO BUILD A NEW LIFE, DOESN’T MEAN YOU SHOULDN’T TAKE A WELL EARNED BREAK. YOU CAN STILL BE PRODUCTIVE BY TAKING SOME TIME OUT TO DO OTHER THINGS!
As said in my previous posts, it isn’t about quantity but quality, and I really want to take my family to Disney World and have a well earned holiday, as it has been a while, go to a music festival, if they are on, and have loads of family time.
Being productive is achieving the things that make you feel good, energized and ready to continue on. If you find parts of your life is boring and needs a change, then make it.
Live your life as you wish to, as long as it isn’t trying to hurt another person, but that makes you and those around you happy. Whenever I have gone out and had a drink with friends, I do get buzz from them, as I love to see them enjoy themselves too, and as it is Christmas soon, I want the rest of this year to be about spending time with those that truly love me, and who I love back and next year to be, about going out more and doing more adventures.
I am super in love and that is making me really look forward to next year and what it will bring. I want to do Stand up again, like I did when working at Butlins, write more music like I used to and develop an online shop.
I am going to take my time next year, so no rushing, as I was once called Mrs Rush Rush Rush, but have a purposeful day and do what is important to help me and adds value to my life.
So lets get ready for 2021 and see what it brings. Remember to live it like you want to and don’t allow those that want to continue to be haters and unhappy to stop you.
Please check out my new video, showing more of what I like to write on this channel and please remember, if you wish to keep up to date with my posts on this site, to click the follow button below.
So there will be more to come and I want to share an Erin May Henry video talking about my much love subject, setting goals, as they map your life for more good things to come and helps you to grow.
Many thanks for reading,
Carrie X

If there was a pill that could actually make us happy, I bet it would sell out. Happiness comes from within, but what makes us happy is different for everyone.
It can take quite a lot to be happy due to hurdles being in the way, but if you change your mindset on things like seeing hurdles as a challenge rather than a burden can make all the difference.
I hope you find this blog helpful and remember to follow me on WordPress to keep up to date with my blogs, and please let me know what makes you happy by commenting below.
Have a good week everyone and see you tomorrow when I will blog on this site again.
Hi everyone! Yes it is Friday and if you have been like me working you nuts off then hats off to you.
We will get through this Pandemic and please do stay safe.
Thank you to all of you who have read and now are following this blog site and please do give me feedback of topics on this site you would like me to cover. You can leave a comment below.
In this blog I am linking my weekly newsletter blog, talking about 10 Tips on Dealing with betrayal:
This year I have decided that I would do Blogmas to help get me and everyone who reads or who are new to my blogs, in the mood for Christmas and so this means I will be posting blogs everyday from tomorrow (1st Dec) to Christmas Day (25th Dec) on my various sites that I write blogs on, including this one.
There may be some videos, articles, books and various topics that I would like to share as this time of year can be hard for some people and like myself there was a time when I dreaded Christmas.
However there are good things about Christmas too and will be sharing how you can finish this year with a bang by creating positive changes into your life that will set you up to have a better Christmas and finish the year on a high.
If there is a particular topic you would like me to talk about that will help you then please leave a suggestion by adding a comment below. You can keep up to date with all my blogs on this site and my others by following on WordPress.com.

I read an article a long time ago, whilst waiting to be seen by my dentist which has stayed in my mind. It was about how this woman who wrote the article was striving to be perfect, have the perfect body, eat the perfect diet, etc yet she felt completely miserable, and didn’t get any real benefit from it what so ever.
Yes she was losing weight but instead of feeling like “Yeah I feel great” she felt tired, hungry and had little motivation.
The one of things that stood out of me in this article was when she wrote that, everyone’s perception of the word “perfect” is different, and that’s the same for me as far as I am concerned when it comes to the word success.
I was so insecure at an early age that the way I looked and felt really bought me down, and I would avoid mirrors, hate trying on clothes in a fitting room, because lets face it, they aren’t the most flattering of mirrors in some changing rooms, and at school there was a girl called Sherie who seemed to be beautiful, hair, face, height and nice and slim. She was very popular and everyone wanted to be friends with her.
I would dream constantly about being this girl and what it would be like for a day, and what it would be like to be that pretty and that popular. However looking back she wasn’t super confident really, when she first began at school as she started a little after I began school, yet we were in the same class, she cried for a whole day because she missed her mum,
She was the sort of person that constantly had to have people around her, yet looking back I liked the fact I got a bit of space. I did eventually make friends and she became my friend, and I would go to Sherie’s flat for tea after school, but I didn’t need constant attention by loads of people.
At the time I thought she was the most perfect girl in the world, but in fact she wasn’t. I remember coming home from secondary school seeing her coming home on the bus and causing a bit of trouble with the bus driver with some other kids.
She by any means was perfect. NO ONE IN THIS WORLD IS PERFECT!
Life isn’t about being perfect but thriving in life, creating good habits that will fulfill your wellbeing and aiming to be successful in what ever field or path you choose.
Check out these 30 Powerful Habits which will make your life more productive and will help you build a better life for yourself, which in turns helps build your wellbeing and creating more successes in your life.
What you need to understand is the word perfect is like the word diet, there is so many different types that make you believe that if you follow this diet, you can look like this or look like that celebrity, but it isn’t real. No one in the world is the same, but if there is someone who you admire than learn from them to help implement changes to what they do to feel better about themselves that you could use, but never copy because what works for one person doesn’t mean it will work for someone else.
Be your own person and get to love your imperfections. Seeing peoples imperfections is to me more endearing because they are just being who they are, and not bothered about the word perfect.
So aim high, created positive changes but never try to be perfect because as far as I am concerned there is no such thing.
Thank you to those who have given me such wonderful feedback on my blogs so far, on this site and for those who have been reading and enjoying them. Let me know what the word perfect means to you, and how you try not to be perfect. You can leave a comment below.
