creating space to live more, creating time for yourself, everyone can build a castle, feeling at peace, having balance in your life, Having lazy days, health and wellbeing, living a life of happiness, living the life you love, mindfulness, walking up london

Hello and welcome to a new blog. Thank you so much for those who have commented on my blogs, it really is great to hear your feedback and glad that you have liked my posts so far.

Image I took when out on one of my walks

In today’s post I am writing about Creating Space to Live more, as I think we can get so struck down with todo lists, looking after our kids (if you are a parent), that we don’t make time to do the other things we love, like catching up with friends, watch a movie or catch up on the football, now that it is back on.

I have gotten into a good pattern now, where I allow myself to have free time other than constantly working, and not taking time out to do the other things I love, like watching TV, exercising indoors, listening to a podcast and just being plain lazy. I love having lazy days, I don’t have these often now, but when I do, do I enjoy it.

Creating space to live more is creating a balance in your life, so you can go skiing, skateboarding or take a break somewhere.

Now I have the weekends to myself I do like to make these my time to get out and do the things I can’t do in the week, when I am looking after my son.

I love to take my time even though I am doing a lot of walking to help me get into shape, check my blog: https://sportsandfitnesscoaching.com/

I don’t walk fast but listen to some music or an audio book on my phone as I am walking, taking in the surroundings and just be peaceful, not having to rush and take some time sitting down enjoying the scenery when I can too.

I want that life where I work but not all the time, and can take my son on holiday and go the seaside if I want to. It is all about drive and doing the things you set out to do, but not working to the point where I feel drained but that has a purpose.

I want all my days have a meaning and a reason for getting up each day and not feeling stressed because I didn’t get to post that blog I wanted or didn’t get to write that bit in my book yet. Time will come, and its not about rushing but doing.

Lets live the life we want and follow our hearts aswell as our dreams.

Many thanks for reading,

create an online course, developing an online business, developing your business, everyone can build a castle, how to still run a business during lockdown, keep building your empire, sell items online, working through the pandemic

Free Person On Computer Clipart, Download Free Clip Art, Free Clip ...

There are many things that can stop us in our tracks, like the Pandemic, if you have had to stop working because of it and being furloughed, but if you are like me a blog writer and want to keep building your empire then crack on, as unlike most professions, blog writing can continue on, as you can’t spread COVID 19 through the computer, so stick to it.

If you run a business then remember that many people will be taking advantage of being lockdown by purchasing online, so consider this and if you don’t run your business online, then sit down and come up with a plan of how you can still run your business online.

If you are not technically minded when it comes to the internet then why not take the time off you have, to do some training. Some local libraries and stores such as Whsmiths are open, so why not go in there and see if there is a book you can buy to help you.

Employ if you can an assistant who can do the online work for you and do some research of different online platforms you can use to build your business online, and if you making items then remember there are some great online stores like Etsy,  shopify, Not on the high street.com, Amazon and Ebay.

You can create an online course for people to take if there is a profession that you want to share with people and help them develop skills in that area. I do mine on a the website: https://www.thinkific.com/

There are so many things you can do so why not sit down and go over how you can develop your business into an online empire instead.

Creating new chapters into our lives

86 Best Retirement Card Verses images in 2020 | Retirement cards ...

Sometimes I do feel that life can be like a book with many doors closing to new doors and chapters beginning and this has definitely been my life so far.

I am always looking to better myself whether it be my blog or books I write, my daily and weekly exercise, being a parent and in life in general.

If you are constantly getting doors slammed in your face then take a step back and ask yourself why this could be? Is it the approach, am I giving out the correct signal, am I not selling myself enough, is my heart not really into this as believed? as we can often be holding ourselves back preventing ourselves to really show people who we actually are, and what we are capable of.

We listen to much to our conscious mind rather than our subconscious mind, which we should be doing.

It was down to doing the Great North run that made me see that I can do the things I have always dreamed of doing, be super fit if I wanted to, and take on a half marathon. Being able to run for 20 minutes without needing to stop was a huge step for me, because when I first began training to do this event, my heart felt like it was going to come out of my mouth and jump out. It took a lot of hours of training and perseverance, which is a word I use a lot, that helped me achieve such an event, and has been one of the biggest things I have ever done in my life.

If a job has come to an end and you are now stuck as to what to do now, then take a view moments to reflect on what has happened and how you can overcome this event. Somethings that happen in our life is out of our control, but how we deal with them can help make a huge difference.

Instead of seeing it as a traumatic event see it as a chapter ending and time to go into a new job.

Instead of sticking to what you did before aim for better and higher grade of work that can be much more fulfilling, as some jobs we do we do it just to keep the money coming in, but we don’t necessarily enjoy it, so start to look at ways to still work but do the job you want to do, rather than what you need to do.

Never see it as the end because it isn’t and sit down and make a plan of where you want to go next and creating a new start that has much bigger and better things along the way can be so uplifting and there can be no end to your talents.

Write down all the things you have achieved in your life so far and what you would like to achieve next.

Honestly I have been doing this and has been a real eye opener for me, because it allows me to see what I am currently focusing on and what I am not, but should be focusing more on.

I find it allows me to rein myself in, because often than not I will give myself a trillion things to do and forget that I am only one person, and that I not able to do it all. So it has helped me to slow down, and be ahead of myself at the same time.

I am a big lover of goal setting and you can do this not just at the beginning of the year, but during aswell, because often our goals can change as we change being human beings.

So please never feel that there is no light at the end of the tunnel because there is, its all about living your best life and getting as much out of it as possible.

aiming for better things, being inspired, create more empowerment into your life, everyone can build a castle, Goal setting, live a happier life, live life to the full, live to build bigger and better things in life, living for better and for more, make the most of everyday, take time off to recharge your batteries

b1jdz1zcmaan0dx

The more I live the more I want out of life, and enjoy it for what it is. Living for better and for more to me is what life is all about, and enjoying every hour of everyday.

As I travel through life I have found that if you wish for big you will get bigger and better things for example I was dreading looking at my bank balance at one point, and was worrying about what I was going to do during the holidays, and as it turned out I got some money from PPI, that I never knew about.

This saved my day and my summer and I have been furloughed which has also helped me out, as the work I had been doing at a local nursery was stopped due to the nursery closing down for good one because of lockdown also because it being brand new it couldn’t get enough children to keep it open, but means I can get more work for the nursery company I have been working for in the future and I am still on their books.

I had also seen that people had been buying my books and received some royalties for that, and I think it is all to do with perseverance and being patient.

It has meant taking risks, like buying further domain names to help grow my blog network, getting back into getting fit but for free so I can continue my Sports and fitness coaching blog, and creating more books to publish aswell as creating a new online course which will be out in a week or so.

I now want to aim for more things in my life like getting my own place again for me and my son to live, to build my income further and to take Henry on holiday somewhere.

Please check out my new weekly to do list that I created today. I don’t always stick to the same way of planning, but tend to mix it up to continue to boost my energy to get things done.

My Weekly To do list

At the bottom I have set goals for the week. Goal setting as I always talk about is the best way to keep hitting targets and objectives, that is how you must run a business and keep yourself and your work growing and flowing.

Everything you do should count towards your goals, and yes that means  taking days off, as often we need to wind down and take it easy to allow us to recharge to boost our energy to reach our targets we set ourselves once more.

Taking Control Of Your Life for 2020

Hello and welcome to a new blog post. Now this year has become different to other years, due to the Lockdown because of the Coronovirus, and with that can really effect your mental health.

The one thing I have become anxious and worried about is my weight again. Since becoming a grown up my weight has been up and down, and I can’t seem to get it to the weight I want it to be.

Does this sound familiar to you?

It makes me wonder if Beyonce ever has insecurities like these?

If you are reading this Beyonce (yeah right) do you get these types of worries?

The way I have been dealing with it is by taking control of it and instead of tormenting myself of it, I have taken some action.

Free Stress Cliparts, Download Free Clip Art, Free Clip Art on ...

Exercise is a brilliant way of taking control and all I am doing is walking a lot, measuring my steps and working out indoors using my fitness mat and set of dumbells.

Honestly you do not need to spend money on special equipment and gear, what it is all about is doing something that works of a sweat and you start to see the results as you keep going.

If you do read my Sports and Fitness blog below you will see that I will work exercise around my lifestyle rather than the other way around,  and it amazing just by doing the school run each day how much exercise you can get, the same with running errands.

Please check out the link below of my Sports and fitness coaching blog  I write every Sunday:

https://sportsandfitnesscoaching.com/

Taking control of your life for 2020 has been no better time, use the time you have wisely and instead of taking a bus, why not walk if it isn’t too far to where you are going. It can save you having to wear a mask if you do not wish to, and keeps you away from germs and can save you money aswell.

Library of fitness walking image transparent download png files ...

I find you can do social distancing better when out walking rather than on transport, and you don’t really have to wear special clothing. As long as what you are wearing is comfortable and does not rub then it is fine.

The other thing is and as I have mentioned in my previous blog I have created two planning charts to help me stay on track and follow my daily and weekly habits, like practicing self care, planning my weeks and days, making my bed, etc

See the link to my two blogs I wrote about my goals I have set for this year and my blog about my daily and weekly positive habits on this site below:

Daily and Weekly Positive Habits

Setting out my goals for 2020

The other thing I do is create myself inspiration boards using Microsoft Publisher to help achieve my goals and ambitions.

Then starting today I am going to start to do to help with my positive mindset is to keep an achievement journal so where there are times when things get too much, I can look back on what I have achieved and feel better about myself.

I think we can be so unkind to ourselves that if that was another person saying this to you, you’d give them an earful, or walk away from them.

It is about what gives you that boost of energy not what brings you down.

This will also help me to plan my days and weeks more constructively so I have down time, I can take my son out and entertain him without worry about the workload I have.

Bringing up children comes with many challenges and it can be a balancing act, but if you are wise with your time and take control of your life you’d be surprised how much easier your days can be.

Please check out my parenting blogs I write throughout the week and months for tips and tricks when it comes to parenting:

https://theparentingadventurestipsandtricks.wordpress.com/

This will help me to maintain a good wellbeing and with that comes a positive mindset.

Take 5 if Lockdown is getting too much

So if you didn’t know I also write a parenting blog, well two in fact which are:

https://theparentingadventurestipsandtricks.wordpress.com/

https://theparentingadventuresthebirthofmyson.wordpress.com/

Well tonight once again Henry my son decided to play up and not go to bed, and sometimes as with life some unplanned events can happen which often we see is beyond our control.

That’s why sometimes it is good just to Take 5. What I mean is taking 5 minutes or so just to take a step back and breath.

This can happen when being responsible for anything in our lives, including running a business.

So what do you do?

Free Cartoon Of Stressed Out Person, Download Free Clip Art, Free ...

In the end I thought go out of the room, let him play about whilst I gather myself together, got some bits I needed downstairs and bought it upstairs and took a shower, and I have to say I felt a whole lot better.

When I looked in on him afterwards he was fine again and settled in bed.

We all need sometime to just breath and take some time for ourselves to recuperate, we are living machines that constantly thinking, doing and acting, and when children don’t settle or someone is sick or some money didn’t go in as expected it can really be like “For God sake let me have a break”, so if things like Lockdown is getting under your skin take 5 and you will feel a whole lot better.

Lockdown was beyond our control and if you are having to work from home and look after children it can take its toll and you can be the one who feels like screaming.

I am sure there are parents who wish to do a runner rather than your kids during lockdown, as we look for endless things to do, which is still limited at the moment.

So if you need to take 5 do it because its the only way we can stop ourselves from going insane.

Hello and welcome to my new blogpost and thank you to those that have spent the time reading my blogs and liking them, it really does mean a lot.

In order to become a success you have to dream it big, and I mean visualize what it is and what it feels like.

Really paint a good picture, adding colour and people into your dream. Who is with you that could help you accomplish your dreams?

Are there things that are secretly and I mean subconsciously holding you back, and how can you get through these hurdles so you can continue to reach your dream goal, whatever it may be.

Write or draw out the image in your mind and what you see and feel. Then write down what the final outcome is and what this feels like and really paint a good picture.

If people tell you that it just not possibly, use this as a signal to try even harder and to show them actually it can happen. You will always have doubters you just have to overcome them.

I wrote a blog post about being Be Ruthless in achieving success sometimes you have to throw the punches and argue by taking action that it can happen and it will happen.

There is always possibilities so go for your dreams and never let anyone hold you back.

Keep safe, many thanks for reading,

5 to 30 tea breaks, everyone can build a castle, extra time, get ahead of yourself, getting things done, prioritize, school run, use every hour of the day, working hard, working hard but less

15 powerful quotes to change the way you think about time and ...

Hello and welcome to another blog on Everyone Can build a castle. First of all I would like to say a massive thank you to those who are now following my blog it means so much to me, I couldn’t have gotten through the lockdown without you.

Now we have some normality, some kids in the UK have now returned to school, it is time to get ahead of yourself. I am going to spend time to batch blog tonight so I have plenty to post this week, we still have upon us.

There is still so much I want to share that I want to make sure I get it out by the end of the week.

  • My first tip to get ahead of yourself, is to do anything you can do the night before even if you spent 10-15 minutes on something, if it sets you up ready for the next day.
  • Prioritize and separate your to do list, this helps to break your tasks down and not see too much. The bigger the list the less we get down, the smaller the list the more chance you have of getting it done.
  • Add to your schedule a 5 to 30 minute tea break and use this to catch up on TV or Youtube or listen to an audio book or practice mindfulness.
  • Use the extra time you have in the morning to do some cleaning rather leaving it to when you get back from the school run. I find the less I have to do during the time my son is at school in terms of housework or getting myself ready for the day, as I don’t enjoy it, the more I can focus on the work I do enjoy, such as my writing.
  • Spend 10-30 minutes pottering around starting from the top to bottom or bottom to top and just go around making the beds, cleaning an area, putting a load of washing on or washing up, just to have a break from the computer and straighten out the home without little effort
  • Spend travelling time to practice being in the now rather than hiding your face away on your phone and take in your surroundings. We can get so buried in our phones and laptops that we rarely breath and take in our environment, so spend some time doing this as this stops your head getting over loaded.
  • Write down each task you complete so you can get to see how much you can truly get done in a day and week. You will be surprised with yourself of how much you can complete when you set your mind to it.

So lets make the most of the free time we have now, that our children are back to school, and stay safe.

Many thanks for reading,

Carrie X

8 Remarkable Quotes on Work Life Balance From Successful People

Hi and welcome to another blog. So, many kids have now returned to school this week. It is amazing how much spare time you have, not that I didn’t enjoy the extra time I spent with my son, but the Lockdown since last week was taking it toll, to the point I was completely blogged out.

I spent so much time blogging as much as I could that I did suffer with burn out.

It is important when working that you have a healthy work life. I know it isn’t easy, but we can get so bogged down that it can become too much and before you know it you are under your neck with so much to do.

The one thing you should schedule is chill out or quiet time, to have a hot bath and read a book, or TV time.

Rest is just as important as working so make time for it.

Allow some proper wake up time, I don’t function correctly if I haven’t had a hearty breakfast or a cup of tea.

Whilst your child is a school why not schedule a day to reunite yourself with your friends, following the social distancing rules.

Still no many shops or places are open but doesn’t stop someone from popping around for a coffee does it.

Have a DVD night or TV night with some pop corn, crisps or other snacks.

It is all about making the most of every hour of the day. I find when I have had a constructive day that I function better and sleep a lot better.

So take some time out and create a schedule you know you can stick to. Please check out my blog post about my routine:

Establish a good routine to conquer a successful Day

Having a good routine can really help get everything you need to do done and be happy with yourself, rather than feeling bogged down or you have wasted a day doing nothing that has fulfilled you.

Please share how you create a good healthy working life below. Please remember to follow me if you would like to be kept up to date with all my blogs I have written.

Productive businesswoman | Free Vector

Hi and welcome to Monday’s post which all about Being Productive during Lockdown.

There are still plenty of things you can do:

  1. Use the extra days in the weekend to catch up on work and errands, because I find these days I can be super productive as Henry spends the weekends at his dads, so I use this time to catch up on my work.
  2. Create a weekly schedule and routine which I talked about in my last two posts on this site: Establish a good routine to conquer a successful Day and Having a good work routine to help build a business
  3. Have your showers and wash hair the night before rather than the morning as I find doing this whilst my son is a sleep along with the rest of the family as it just saves me so much time the next day
  4. Create a goal a day to achieve, so my goal for today is “Work on my book” which I have done
  5. Forget multi tasking concentrate on one task at the time
  6. Be Smart so Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time
  7. Make a list and then break each item on the list down
  8. Have free choice days or hours, where you can do anything you choose
  9. Spend some time writing a journal. I live by mine
  10. Create a playlist on Youtube to listen to whilst you work or do chores. It really helps with getting stuff done.

I love having productive days and whilst we are in lockdown it is good to make the most of each day and get things ticked of on our To Do list.

I have created a printable, which is a productive worksheet.

PRODUCTIVE WORKSHEET

Many thanks for reading,
