I am someone who has lived with music, my dad was always playing his records and tapes, and would take his Cassette tape with him when we used to have holidays in Menorca. There are so many songs from that time in my life, that automatically takes me back there. They were fun holidays, even with one time I was very unwell.

Music has been with us in centuries and is for ever growing, as the new generation of artists and song writers come through. For me the 80’s was my era and still listen to music from that time, to now and there is so many hits to choose from.

For me music is how I like to relax, I enjoy singing too and writing music. Something I have done as a kid, and would often imagine myself performing in a concert. That is what music does it helps with your imagination, and it will never go out of fashion.

All it takes is one song, and I let my imagination invision the memory that song gave me and remember how I felt, and what was happening in my life when I first heard that song. Like Red Red wine by UB40 I first heard this when I was hanging out my mum’s bestfriends dads home.

I have no idea of what I would do without music, and Top of the pops was a top show back in the 80’s and 90’s and started around the 60’s or maybe later than that, but that was the show that everyone wanted to be on, to promote their music. I would look forward to watching it, and was sad when they stop recording the hit TV show.

Many artists would start their debut on the TV, when top of the pops were on, and everyone wanted to be there to see it being recorded.

It used to be on BBC 1 on a Thursday at 7:30pm and it was exciting to see who was number one that week, and then there is the music videos. It was Micheal Jackson Thriller that was like part of a movie, when he becomes a werewolf and the A-HA with Take on me.

Music will always be in our lives and it does play a part in life, because it can make us feel that “the song was written for them” as they can identify with the song going on the words its saying.

I love now creating playlists using Youtube and it has saved me lots of money It is songs that I haven’t heard for ages.

Looking back on my childhood I didn’t come from a home where my parents had a lot of money, yet I was still given pocket money. That is something I’d like to do for Henry. I also encourage you to open a bank account for your kids, that can help him when he gets older, and I want to keep adding to it, so he is financially secure.

I have also been someone who is level headed and get along with different types of people. I was a kid who played out on a housing estate, and my friends and I would use the whole length of our estate that it was the norm to play out. As a kid I would play out all of the time and then it stopped. So now going over that memory I love more than anything to be outdoors.

Walking I have done since I was young and it is a good exercise to let go of worries and just chat with someone if you have walking buddy, or on your own and when out like to meet others and say good morning to other walkers too.

Keeping tab on my emotions, and if I need a cry I do. It really helps if I am under a lot of strain often need to cry, not so much now as I am in a good place physically and mentally, but I try not to hold them in. A reason why I journal a lot.

it is a good way to document how you are feeling and find it really useful when I having not such a good day. It was raining a little whilst out, but didn’t hurt me know. Getting doors for me is a breath of freshair, then I am going to see if can fit in walking everyday, around any appointments that I have.

Since a kid I have always loved reading, different types of books and feel that this is the one the most useful and empowering tool you can ever have,, and I will always continue to do this. I love a book which has a lot of funny dialogue, to more serious stories.

Life can be too much, and I know “Stating the obvious” but we need balance and stability in our life. Yet it can be hard to come by at times and I find when I am near my menstrual cycle I am super stressed and lethargic.

I am so focused on my writing that I forget to give myself time to rest and recuperate. So now I am going to slow down my work by posting a blog a day at a time, than rather doing too many.

So Good practices to help you to have a stressed free day:

  1. Having a good hearty breakfast and have time to yourself to shower and get ready for the day
  2. Text a friend to meet up and have some BFF time and have a catch up
  3. Take time in your day when you schedule to read a book or listen to a good podcast
  4. Watch a documentary, I love these videos as I find it refreshing in a way and inspiring
  5. Make sure you don’t over work by taking substantial breaks from it and organize a space to do other things
  6. Make everyday count, and set yourself goals one day at a time too
  7. Look forward to better days and have pampering hours, where you get your hair done and make up and paint your nails anything that helps you have a happier less stressful day

When it comes to #mentalhealth there are different forms and I really do not get the Mentle health act, because I think for me that sounds like its some how wrong to have mental health issues, but why “Aren’t we allow to feel, think and be who we want to be”. We are not criminals we are people who find life often a struggle to many who seem to make their bed everyday, and go jogging with the inner voice telling you “No leave it until tomrrow” and have success over success,

To me this is why people don’t want to talk about Mental Health because in some way we’re seen as Second Class Citizens and not worthy of happiness, when this is all we want. WE WANT TO BE HAPPY! Do you think we want to be completely depressed, do you really think we want to feel, that we aren’t worthy for feeling like we have no place in this world any more? Its about Support and being able to express ourselves and this is why I am supporting Mind,org to stop it being criminalised to have Mental Health issues.

I am on top of the world and haven’t felt so good in all of my life, as I can now say “I like me and I am happy to be me” and that is not hitting out on anyone its just I often found it hard to be me cause I struggled with self image, and all do is try to do the right thing and this then happens to be wrong. I have come out of the otherside in terms of Mental Health, and I am glad to now have the time to re-address my life more and keep forever building and that, is what it is all about.

So the different forms. You have BiPolar, Anxiety, Anxiousness, Depression and PTSD. They are the main ones, but they aren’t want you are born with, but because of a cause. Like a Trauma, a loss of someone and being continually told “You aren’t good enough”. It is a form of Mind Management, because with mental health once you learn about it, you know the triggers and the how to deal with certain events and emotions to manage it.

When it comes to feeling good in your mind that is what we want to achieve, when we want help and support with our Mental health, and there is those who just need to be away from their current surroundings and be heard. They want to know that there are people on their side, and so if you have a mental health problem. never allow it to hold you back and use it to make you stronger.

I am never going to stop living as we all have a right to live and breath. So, make a promise to yourself today, and you can do this by writing a Personal Profile,, a mission statement about yourself or a letter to yourself. I wrote down some rules for myself, that I wasn’t going to allow anyone to stop me from living, stop me from doing good things for people and being happy and in love.

There is a law in Mental health, in that it should never be challenged, yet it still is, and so I do think the laws in terms of mental health should be changed.

I am someone who is particular about who I will talk to and who I won’t and I am never disrespectful, its that I do hold my guard up at times, for protection and to never get into someone especially with mental health problmes in their personal space because that is what they fear, the most and I do. Being bullied has been part of that and so, I will often wait until someone talks to me, as I am someone who often does want to be out of the way, but not isolated, but to allow other people space and myself and if people want to talk to you they will.

I never ignore anyone, I acknowledge as this like me is important as I myself do not like it when someone knows you are there but they pretend your not, and found it hard with my ex-husband when he would bump into someone he worked with and like at the beginning he would introduce me, and then stopped but would introduce my little boy, which was good, but it was like “Hello I’m here too” and you know when that starts it is a sign that, perhaps either work this out which I did as I, often go straight to “Oh well it must be me” and no.

I don’t blame him at all, and I would like to think he feels the same, it just makes you see when you address it without getting angry like before, you in mind have learned to help your mental health and see things without shouting or crying. So #letsworktogether and lets help support and raise awareness of mental health.

Hello and I am writing this on Sunday, but I don’t post any live blogs on this day so will be up live tomorrow.

So Concentrating on Good Things In life that can empower you through the year.

Find what makes you tick, and look for inspiring videos that can give you empowerment. When I used to go running and I had that “I have no energy to do a run” I found some running motivation videos on Youtube and listening to one of those made me go out and run, before I changed my mind again.

We often at times look at our lives and our rooms, and homes thinking “My world cluttered, I feel overwhelmed and feel like I am never gonna be tidy or stress free”, but yes you can.

I wrote a book on amazon.com about making one change a day:

Doing one thing a day can make a huge difference and what empowers me everyday is listening to music, just one or two songs, and that helps kick start my day.

Plan a day just for you, as we all deserve a day where we can be lazy or some people I know love Sundays For example to have a day in bed. I did this some weekends and it is just to relax not have to rush anywhere, no errands or to dos and just a day of Peace and Quiet.

Spend time documenting days where you see family and friends, or now we are soon I hope to be out of Lockdown that you can see family again and why not film to development more happy Memories and why not plan a Post Lockdown Family reunion.

Watch videos or documentaries that inspire you and make you get the most of each day. I sometimes if I have a Takeaway will watch a comedy series i haven’t watched for a while and I try to do different things at the weekend, and it is good to have a Takeaway Friday or Pizza Tuesday or Saturday. I even like today as i wrote this love having a Curry Sunday rather than roast.

I also have days where I don’t wear make up and days when I do, and have created a photobook to help me remind of looks I have done and it really has helped with my confidents and feel good about myself.

Have breakfasts at the weekend or during Holiday days that you wouldn’t have in a normal week. I love a cooked breakfast sometimes and i will eat a lot more fruit, and I have a separate Travel Journal that I keep especislly for holidays. I love documenting good days aswell some challenging days.

Jusr get as much out of each day as possible and make time for from the norm and use what inspires you to have a better, happy and fulfilling life.

So, in this Weekly blog post, I am sharing some tips on Building Success from easter to Autumn. If you would like to checkout my new EBooks then please go to: Amazon.com and look under the name Carrie Lee Holmes.

So my first Tip# Is to go through you calendar of important dates. Go through birthdays and anniversaries, and how you can use them in your work or work around them. If there are birthdays or anniversaries that you can’t attend, of who may have sent out invitations to you, but still send them a message via social media or a card still. If you need like I do to shut yourself away to work on an online course or a book, do it, and set a date for yourself and many do a Writing Retreat.

Tip 2# Go through the summer months of taking your work outside, and make your work more personal to the people you are trying to attract. People like those who create products that solves a problem in everyday things, like, How to save money on energy in the home that you can save for your business.

I am all for working and saving at the sametime and that is now, why I am financially secure, because I have created a passive income with solid income and that means having weeks where I will work Rock solid and then take time out. Those who are earning a lot of money, know it when they no longer have to work everyday or can take it easy and can have more holidays. I know with Lockdown it has not been possible, but I do have some holidays booked and really looking forward to them

Tip 3# Use Easter to separate your work and finance as a new quarter, so like from Jan to March is one quarter, April to July or June the second and July to September is the third and October to December the last quarter. Honestly, it makes work so much easier.

I was someone who worked month to month at one time, but it never worked for me, and I have set goals for this month April 2021, but I have done it so I can work through them, through the other months.

Tip 4# Don’t jam pack your day with loads of meetings and tasks. I like to spread things out in the week, and would book meetings in the morning so I have my afternoons and evenings, to myself to do whatever I choose. I do have a day in the week where I don’t write blogs to go live or post any at all, and that is Sunday.

So go through your week and things you may have already booked and, then see where there is space to have an Admin day, a no meeting day or a day of doing research.

Rip 5# Use the sunmmer holidays as the time to plan the next quarters and keep setting goals. A lot of people think goal setting should be at the beginning of the year, but plan them all year round.

Hello and welcome! So in this weeks Monday post I am talking about 10 Ways of Creating a Life to remember.

To do that I what want to go through the things you still love in your life. Now when doing this be really true to yourself and don’t say it because you feel it is the right thing to say, but that is a true feeling inside of you, that you want those things still in your life.

It is more or less A DECLUTTER OF LIFE!

So where to begin,

  1. I would write down people first, and I have made a Promise to myself to not allow Toxic people in my life anymore and if they want to be like it let them, I just don’t want them around me, as they are Toxic for a reason.
  2. Then declutter the memories of those people, and take pictures of the true people in your life, so your memory focuses on those and not ones of those that bought you down in your passed
  3. Then go through your possessions, and be Ruthless about it. I have a written a new EBook called Spice Up Your Life, and in it I talk about being Ruthless, and should be up tomorrow on Amazon.com under the name Carrie Lee Holmes
  4. Create a Wall Full of Happiness, where you have all the people who you love and in a place you can spend 5 to 10 minutes looking at, and why not in your bedroom or hallway you walk through a lot, and with a cup of coffee in your hand, look at it, before you begin your day
  5. Make some personalised items of your favourite photos and create a display of those things, but if you buy a mug for example you can use it in a functional way too, by using it as a Pen holder, but I would prefer to use it for a Coffee to be honest
  6. Develop a story of your life so far, by creating a photo book and of places you love travelling to and have a travel journal. Or the same as with the Happiness Wall, have a Wellbeing Gallery on a wall in your home
  7. Why not have your own Wall of Fame, and pictures of when you went on girl holidays and where you met the love of your life. It does feel good to be in love again, I think I need a bucket of cold water, but is that gonna stop me being in love? NO WAY!
  8. Why not learn a new skill and document it as you learn, by keepiing a journal and pictures
  9. Have your own desiginer clothes range or a series of self published books, as it can lead to so many opportunities
  10. Develop a programme full of possibility and hope, by doing rituals and new habits that will drive you through a better and successful life
