Changing mindset, Have productive day, lockdown, Not feeling good about yourself, Practicing self care, use this time wisely, what successful people do

Change Your Mindset, Change Your Life - Inquiry Institute

Hello and welcome to another blogpost. Thank you for following me so far and reading my blogs it is truly amazing to see you all enjoying my content.

In this blog I am talking about Changing your Mindset, from feeling low to feeling good about yourself and your life.

Yes I know, we all still in Lockdown, but doesn’t mean we have to use this time to be bored shitless, use the time wisely and do extra self care like putting your make up on, take that steaming hot bath, paint your nails etc

We seem to often be fixated on helping and looking others that we forget about ourselves.

So change your mindset about being bored and write down everything that you could be doing to help you have productive day.

  • I have been using this time to really focus on my writing ideas.
  • Use this time to exercise and do some fitness training.
  • Catch up on some TV, because I haven’t sat down and watched TV the last two weeks or so
  • Use this time to save money and be up to date with my bills
  • Do some gardening
  • Have the kids tidy up around the house because now is a good time to get out the reward charts for every time they complete a task
  • Do some baking and make your own bread or cakes, etc
  • Have a good sort out of your stuff ready for disposing, selling or going to donate to a charity shop
  • Have a date night in, so still dress up, put some romantic music on, have a dance and a bite to eat, then why not end it with watching a good film or two

Successful people never allow themselves to be stuck in a rut and have plenty to do.

So lets get busy and keep safe.

Many thanks for reading,

Free People Standing Together Silhouette, Download Free Clip Art ...Hello and welcome to today’s blog. In today’s post I am sharing How to build a fantastic team, as being a entrepreneur, life and football coach and even being a mum, you have to have a good team behind you, that you can work with.

Sorry for the cliche but there is no I in team, and it is about working together, not as individuals.

Everyone should pull their weight if not then they shouldn’t be in that particular job or they may need some further training.

When I worked at a Holiday Resort I would do 5 to 6 jobs before I did my actual job which was Trolley Running, because in order to keep a restaurant running sufficiently it has to be cleaned and set up ready for the guests to arrive for their morning and afternoon meal.

As soon as one person didn’t pull their weight it affected the team morale making others not bothered either.

You know if you have a good team because they will be smiling not miserable.

Low morale in a company can cause damage to a companies reputation, especially if they see a Manager shouting or talking down to an employee.

It is all about respect and working as one, and when everyone works well together it is a bonus and a team to be extremely proud of.

Creating a Vision Board

Creating a vision board, Erin may henry, everyone can build a castle, goals, having a vision, smart, your vision board not working, Youtube

Do you have a vision of where you would like your life to go?

Or want in your life, then why not create a vision board. They are a great way to achieving your goals.

However it has to have purpose and a meaning, and realistic.

Think of the word SMART ( Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely).

Specific

Make it detailed and specific to an area in your life, and have a purpose. Example one of mine is to go walking again every day for 20 minutes, during the day.

Measurable

How long will it take until I see my fitness improve, and I would say in about 6 to 12 weeks.

Attainment

It should be easily done and will use my health app on phone to count the amount of steps I do each day

Realistic

It has to be possible, so walking 20 minutes each day should work out wonders for me, and easily be achieved every day

Timely

How long something will take, so 20 minutes each day will be attainable and achievable.

Erin May Henry has a video talking about why your vision board is not working, and give strategies to make it work for you.

Please comment below of what you think of Vision boards I would love to hear from you, and remember to follow me to keep up to date with my blogs and you can also visit my site https://carriesblognetwork.squarespace.com where you can subscribe to also be posted about my blogs.

10+ Free Women Empowerment & Empowerment Images - PixabayI think it is safe to say that I love EMPOWERMENT and you’ll be surprised when you look around you how many things you can spot that will give you empowerment.

Music, TV, a film, a Podcast, nature or a video. I get empowerment from people and the one person who inspires me is Tony Robbins, who I discovered some years ago, when I was fed up and needed some words of wisdom.

This man had me transfixed within minutes because it was like he had just by watching his videos had got it to my head and saw the anxiety, stress I was feeling.

He now has a new book out called: Unshakable Your Financial Freedom Playbook.

This comes with a 30 day trial see link below:

https://www.audible.co.uk

I think we could all do with a some financial support at the moment, as jobs are affect by the International Lockdown.

The other people who inspire me is Oprah Winfrey, Jordan Paige, Debra Meadon, Mel Robbins and Paul McKenna as they all have inspiring stories.

I like people who are up front and honest, because they will tell me if I look bad or something not right.

So finding empowerment through people can make you see things in a whole different light, and help you look forward to the days ahead, instead of struggling not looking forward to the days to come.

Dealing with the Inner Critic

Be ruthless, Cheat sheet, dealing with the inner critic, everyonecanbuildacastle, Social Anxiety

Inspiring words to help you silence your inner critic and build ...

As human beings we can be driven by our Inner Critic.

That voice can go on and on, telling you,  your wasting your time and don’t bother getting out of bed do it tomorrow.

However not being Mrs Doom and Gloom, what if tomorrow never came?

Neither of us know what is around the corner. I have often seen things before they have happened, example I knew that my mum was going to end up with Tot (my step dad) ages before they got together, but not sure if this was coincidence or just a thought.

When it comes to dealing with the Inner Critic be ruthless with yourself and say “No I am going to go for run today” even if the Inner Critic keeps on and is constant.

Don’t ignore the Inner Critic because from my own experience when you do the voice can get stronger, so acknowledge it and tell it to “Shut up” get up out of bed, put your running gear by your bed on, which I would always suggest you so the night before and before the Inner Critic can continue go for a run.

With the Inner Critic it can effect our everyday lives, like when we write a letter, a book or a blog, going on examples. This voice is our protector in a way, as often as humans we can sniff out danger or that the letter isn’t good, so you proof read and edit it until it is good.

What you don’t want to do is allow it to take over, because once it does it can make you think Rapidly and then stop you in your tracks, talking you out of it, then you feel guilty for not doing what you wanted and it has ended up not being anything to really worry about at all.

I remember one work Christmas Party and it was a new job but being shy and suffering with Social Anxiety didn’t want to go, well I am glad I did because it was brilliant. Yes I did get drunk, but from that point forward really got to know my new colleagues and began to fit in.

Keep a Journal to answer the Inner Critic and what you really think and what you should do. Example you have split from your boyfriend and you then have the Inner Critic telling you that you shouldn’t have done that, make bullet points as to why you did and then read them out, and create a new plan of action to move on.

When relationships breakdown there is a reason, so write in your journal about it to address the topic, and face the voice by looking in a mirror imaging the Inner Critic is in front of you head on and say “GO AWAY”, silence it by imagining the voice getting quieter and quieter until it is completely muted.

Then reducing the image of the Critic until it completely disappears.

Try doing this several times and you will no longer be dictated by the Inner Critic, but by the voice that is in your gut instead.

I have done a cheat for you to download with this activity and you can even stick it on the wall, and try it every time the Inner Critic speaks.

Creating Good Luck for Success

bad luck, Building success in your life, creating good luck for success, everyone can build a castle, make your own luck, what is luck

Have you had a day where you have felt completely unlucky,  that everyone is against you and you wish you could start the day again without such bad luck?

Suffering with mental health problems such as anxiety, worry and depression some days I just wish I didn’t get out of bed.

However from learning from when I was a kid to an adult, is often you have to make your own luck and see bad luck as a hurdle rather than hitting a brick wall.

Make your own luck | Exam good luck quotes, Lucky quotes, Luck quotes

Luck comes in all shapes and sizes and can be like someone slapping you knocking you off your feet, but do you get up or stay on the ground?

Or there is good luck and you feel like you have been swept off your feet.

I have had some bad luck this year  already but at the same time have met some good people who believe in me, through my writing. So to me that is good luck.

So can you still be successful and have bad luck.?

Categorically YES!

  1. If you haven’t heard from someone for a long time and you feel they are avoiding you, then make the first move to say “Hi and how are you?” by text, email or even giving them a call. If they don’t answer don’t be disheartened and you have done your bit so you have left it up to them
  2. Not able to find something in your work area. Have a clear out and make it a ritual or new habit to clear and tidy work area before and at the end of each day
  3. Lost paper work on the computer, write it down aswell so you have the meeting notes or  document details to hand aswell
  4. Dropped your phone but now not working and need it for business purposes. Go to a telephone shop a legitimate one to fix it, and have a landline telephone aswell as back up
  5. Make up has come off and going out for the evening. Take a small bag with reinforcements of make up in handbag and use a good primer as this will help your make up to stay on
  6. Feel like someone is not pulling their wait and feel weary of using them to help you in case they get it wrong? Have a kind word with them and explain or write clean cut notes for them to follow to get the thing you need doing, done correctly.
  7. Frightened of spilling something on you for a meeting and wearing white. Pack a spare shirt or bottoms to change into. Always a must being a parent.
  8. You didn’t get paid the correct amount at work. Chase it up with the HR Manager for example for them to sort it out and keep on at them
  9. Public transport is playing up again. Give yourself extra time and pre-check traffic news in advanced so you can be prepared
  10. Traffic has come to a standstill. Again prepare the night before and in the morning, give yourself extra time and get anything done the night before completed

So I do wish you every success in your life and many thanks for reading my blogs and liking them and remember to follow me to keep up to date with all my posts on this site

HAPPY SUNDAY PEEPS

Building a Foundation around you

blog, Blogger, Blogspot, building a foundation around you, creating a foundation and following the unplanned, Creating success in your life, everyone can build a castle, feelings

www.hdnicewallpapers.comHello and welcome to another blog. In today’s post I am writing about Building a Foundation around you. Now I did do another blog a long while ago called,

Creating a foundation and following the unplanned

Since this blog my life has changed. My marriage has come to and end, some jobs I was doing didn’t workout, yet I still feel I have built a good foundation.

There are people out there who I have been working with who believe in my blogs and books which have become my full time job. I am writing a book called Everyone Can Build a Castle, because I have had so much positive feedback that I thought it was time.

It is important to have a team especially if you are a blogwriter and also do other jobs, because it can become overwhelming, so having someone you can delegate jobs to is a “must have” in my book.

It has been a very difficult year but now I have met the man of my dreams who has bought the word “Love” back into my life. Being in love again is truly special and a new life is beginning for me.

Sometimes in order to create foundation you have to do some searching and may take time to know them, but once you have built that foundation and you can sleep at night you know you are on the right track for success.

However there will be people who will try and manipulate, stir trouble or be a negative person, but never let these people dictate and let them wallow in their misery.

ITS NOT YOUR PROBLEM!

What you want to do is have a good set of people who can jump in when you fall, and be your Rock.

Please remember to follow me if you wish to be kept up to date with my blogpost. I am now planning on blogging on this site everyday and so I will be back with a post tomorrow aswell.

Many thanks for reading,

Home truths

blog, blog writing, Blogger, Blogspot, Building confidence, everyone can build a castle, home truths, inspiration, negative people

Library of two people arguing clipart royalty free download png ...This year I have learned some home truths and that is some people are not what they seem to be and have become a huge disappointment.

I suffer with Social Anxiety and have done for years, but I have come to learn that it all depends on the people I have chosen to hang around with.

Since this year I have met some wonderful people, but there is always those who drag you down.

STOP THEM AND SHUT THEM DOWN!

I wrote a blog called,

Dealing with negative people

It can be these people that cause other people to self sabotage and make you feel worthless, let me tell you that this is not about you, but them, so ignore them if you can and let them know that you aren’t happy with them.

YOU DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO FIGHT BACK

I am a loyal person always have been and I stick with people through thick and thin, but I have been hurt by these people, that I have had no choice but to walk away. Relationships are hard and they do come in all shapes and sizes. I think that is why my blog community has grown, because when I believe in something like this blog people can see that and can relate to it.

Let me tell you now that you are worth it and go for the dream job you want or the lifestyle. No one has the right to tell you how to live and who you should be friends with, or that they shouldn’t do something.

As long as it has good intentions then go for what you want and aim for bigger and better things.

People have a dream and vision for a reason so pursue it and forget those who are jealous.

I will hold my hands up I have been jealous too and it is not a nice feeling as you become begrudging when do I really want to see someone fall or succeed?

I want people to succeed in their life, not hurt anyone and thrive at what they do. No one has the right to drag anyone down because they’ve had a bad day, but be a shoulder to cry on if they do wish to discuss matters with you, rather than screaming and shouting.

Jealousy comes in all shapes and sizes, and for me is like having a parasite in the pit of your stomach to the point you feel this anger and resentment. It can eat away at you, and you end up questioning yourself, so I try go by the commandments in the Bible, which is,

TREAT THOSE HOW YOU WISH TO BE TREATED

I don’t like having a pop at someone, it isn’t in my nature but I will find my voice when someone I feel is having a cheap shot at me, and that I am not going to let it make me dive but to survive and succeed, and so should you.

So be happy within yourself and create a good foundation of people around you. I love being around others who want the same outcome as me, and that is to be a successful writer, to work in comedy, music and football.

It does come with hard work and you do have to be committed but it doesn’t mean you can’t go out and get it.

So good luck  and I hope you succeed and let me know of the things you have wanted to to do and achieved. I love hearing about these types of stories as I find it so inspiring and let me tell you have my backing all the way.

Remember you can keep up to date with all my blog posts on WordPress.com by following me.

Impulse thinking

everyone can build a castle, impulse buying, Impulse thinking, investing, making decisions, running a business, Shopping tips and tricks

Women Shopping Royalty Free Cliparts, Vectors, And Stock ...

Often we act on Impulse, such as when we see someone fall over our instinct is to go over and help them, or we impulse buy and then regret it afterwards after looking at our bank balance and realise there is zero amount left.

So how do you use impulse thinking wisely?

Well if you see someone fall over walk over to them slowly but don’t rush over as they could have knife and so may attack especially if they have been drinking, and then crouch down like you would a child and ask “Is everything okay?”.

With impulse buying as like I do if I see a planner I feel the rush of excitement and the thought of I have to have the item otherwise it could go, but the question is, do I really need the item and what benefit will I get from it?

Impulse thinking can work for you or against you. Example we often get fulled by the items being at the checkout  encouraging you to buy, but often if you do the maths the price of that item can still workout to be more, than other brands of products and the impulse items are often on eye level to grab your attention on the shelves.

So next time you wish to invest in an item don’t go  with the first item you see, do the maths and look at the top and bottom shelves as the cheaper items that still taste good can be found on these shelves which will make you more of a saving.

When want to invest in a business we want to run we can do impulse thinking as you have to be quick at making decisions, like do I need a new domain name? Will this content be good enough? I often write my blogs on impulse, as it all depends how I am feeling and what is happening at that moment in time.

So use impulse thinking to your advantage so it works for you not against you and this can lead to everlasting success.

I have also written a blog on my related site Building Self Confidence – The Ugly Duckling so go over to this site if you would like to read my latest post on there too.
