business woman carrying the world isolated over white | Freestock ...

Hello and welcome to my new blogpost and thank you to those that have spent the time reading my blogs and liking them, it really does mean a lot.

In order to become a success you have to dream it big, and I mean visualize what it is and what it feels like.

Really paint a good picture, adding colour and people into your dream. Who is with you that could help you accomplish your dreams?

Are there things that are secretly and I mean subconsciously holding you back, and how can you get through these hurdles so you can continue to reach your dream goal, whatever it may be.

Write or draw out the image in your mind and what you see and feel. Then write down what the final outcome is and what this feels like and really paint a good picture.

If people tell you that it just not possibly, use this as a signal to try even harder and to show them actually it can happen. You will always have doubters you just have to overcome them.

I wrote a blog post about being Be Ruthless in achieving success sometimes you have to throw the punches and argue by taking action that it can happen and it will happen.

There is always possibilities so go for your dreams and never let anyone hold you back.

Keep safe, many thanks for reading,

8 Remarkable Quotes on Work Life Balance From Successful People

Hi and welcome to another blog. So, many kids have now returned to school this week. It is amazing how much spare time you have, not that I didn’t enjoy the extra time I spent with my son, but the Lockdown since last week was taking it toll, to the point I was completely blogged out.

I spent so much time blogging as much as I could that I did suffer with burn out.

It is important when working that you have a healthy work life. I know it isn’t easy, but we can get so bogged down that it can become too much and before you know it you are under your neck with so much to do.

The one thing you should schedule is chill out or quiet time, to have a hot bath and read a book, or TV time.

Rest is just as important as working so make time for it.

Allow some proper wake up time, I don’t function correctly if I haven’t had a hearty breakfast or a cup of tea.

Whilst your child is a school why not schedule a day to reunite yourself with your friends, following the social distancing rules.

Still no many shops or places are open but doesn’t stop someone from popping around for a coffee does it.

Have a DVD night or TV night with some pop corn, crisps or other snacks.

It is all about making the most of every hour of the day. I find when I have had a constructive day that I function better and sleep a lot better.

So take some time out and create a schedule you know you can stick to. Please check out my blog post about my routine:

Establish a good routine to conquer a successful Day

Having a good routine can really help get everything you need to do done and be happy with yourself, rather than feeling bogged down or you have wasted a day doing nothing that has fulfilled you.

Please share how you create a good healthy working life below. Please remember to follow me if you would like to be kept up to date with all my blogs I have written.

Productive businesswoman | Free Vector

Hi and welcome to Monday’s post which all about Being Productive during Lockdown.

There are still plenty of things you can do:

  1. Use the extra days in the weekend to catch up on work and errands, because I find these days I can be super productive as Henry spends the weekends at his dads, so I use this time to catch up on my work.
  2. Create a weekly schedule and routine which I talked about in my last two posts on this site: Establish a good routine to conquer a successful Day and Having a good work routine to help build a business
  3. Have your showers and wash hair the night before rather than the morning as I find doing this whilst my son is a sleep along with the rest of the family as it just saves me so much time the next day
  4. Create a goal a day to achieve, so my goal for today is “Work on my book” which I have done
  5. Forget multi tasking concentrate on one task at the time
  6. Be Smart so Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time
  7. Make a list and then break each item on the list down
  8. Have free choice days or hours, where you can do anything you choose
  9. Spend some time writing a journal. I live by mine
  10. Create a playlist on Youtube to listen to whilst you work or do chores. It really helps with getting stuff done.

I love having productive days and whilst we are in lockdown it is good to make the most of each day and get things ticked of on our To Do list.

I have created a printable, which is a productive worksheet.

Working From Home Clipart

I live by a routine and so does my son Henry.

The thing about a routine is it gives you structure, and a reason to get up in the morning.

A typical day for me, is most mornings I am awake to begin work especially this time of year is at 4am. Sometimes I will go back to bed, but other times I don’t.

Getting up that time kick starts my day and it is so nice to get up and get some writing done before anybody else wakes up.

I will plan the night before of what to do, and what needs to be done. I have decided that I am going to post on this site everyday to help support others and help them become successful in their life, and this takes time and patience.

My breakfast time is between usually 5am to 6am, and I get dressed ready between 6am to 7am.

Now to save myself time in the mornings is have my shower and wash my hair the night before and it has made such a difference.

I am all about saving myself time so I can chill for a bit and listen to music or an audio book during the day, aswell as spending time with my son.

See below the template I use to plan my work and day, and seems to really be helping me to keep tabs on my time keeping:

blog schedule template

I would recommend everyone to create a blog schedule thinking about the SMART contents which stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time.

Block out your time and make space for breaks. Being on the computer all day isn’t good for you, so have a timeout block which for me is usually between 1pm to 2pm and take a break between 4pm to 6pm.

This is the block schedule I use to break it down.

My Block Schedule

I have found being disciplined in my days and being productive as really helped me have a successful day.

Everyday should count and so establish a good routine to help you towards Success.

Please remember to follow me on WordPress to keep up to date with my blogposts, and will blog again tomorrow.

Free People Standing Together Silhouette, Download Free Clip Art ...Hello and welcome to today’s blog. In today’s post I am sharing How to build a fantastic team, as being a entrepreneur, life and football coach and even being a mum, you have to have a good team behind you, that you can work with.

Sorry for the cliche but there is no I in team, and it is about working together, not as individuals.

Everyone should pull their weight if not then they shouldn’t be in that particular job or they may need some further training.

When I worked at a Holiday Resort I would do 5 to 6 jobs before I did my actual job which was Trolley Running, because in order to keep a restaurant running sufficiently it has to be cleaned and set up ready for the guests to arrive for their morning and afternoon meal.

As soon as one person didn’t pull their weight it affected the team morale making others not bothered either.

You know if you have a good team because they will be smiling not miserable.

Low morale in a company can cause damage to a companies reputation, especially if they see a Manager shouting or talking down to an employee.

It is all about respect and working as one, and when everyone works well together it is a bonus and a team to be extremely proud of.

Creating a Vision Board

Creating a vision board, Erin may henry, everyone can build a castle, goals, having a vision, smart, your vision board not working, Youtube

Do you have a vision of where you would like your life to go?

Or want in your life, then why not create a vision board. They are a great way to achieving your goals.

However it has to have purpose and a meaning, and realistic.

Think of the word SMART ( Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely).

Specific

Make it detailed and specific to an area in your life, and have a purpose. Example one of mine is to go walking again every day for 20 minutes, during the day.

Measurable

How long will it take until I see my fitness improve, and I would say in about 6 to 12 weeks.

Attainment

It should be easily done and will use my health app on phone to count the amount of steps I do each day

Realistic

It has to be possible, so walking 20 minutes each day should work out wonders for me, and easily be achieved every day

Timely

How long something will take, so 20 minutes each day will be attainable and achievable.

Erin May Henry has a video talking about why your vision board is not working, and give strategies to make it work for you.

Please comment below of what you think of Vision boards I would love to hear from you, and remember to follow me to keep up to date with my blogs and you can also visit my site https://carriesblognetwork.squarespace.com where you can subscribe to also be posted about my blogs.

Dealing with the Inner Critic

Be ruthless, Cheat sheet, dealing with the inner critic, everyonecanbuildacastle, Social Anxiety

Inspiring words to help you silence your inner critic and build ...

As human beings we can be driven by our Inner Critic.

That voice can go on and on, telling you,  your wasting your time and don’t bother getting out of bed do it tomorrow.

However not being Mrs Doom and Gloom, what if tomorrow never came?

Neither of us know what is around the corner. I have often seen things before they have happened, example I knew that my mum was going to end up with Tot (my step dad) ages before they got together, but not sure if this was coincidence or just a thought.

When it comes to dealing with the Inner Critic be ruthless with yourself and say “No I am going to go for run today” even if the Inner Critic keeps on and is constant.

Don’t ignore the Inner Critic because from my own experience when you do the voice can get stronger, so acknowledge it and tell it to “Shut up” get up out of bed, put your running gear by your bed on, which I would always suggest you so the night before and before the Inner Critic can continue go for a run.

With the Inner Critic it can effect our everyday lives, like when we write a letter, a book or a blog, going on examples. This voice is our protector in a way, as often as humans we can sniff out danger or that the letter isn’t good, so you proof read and edit it until it is good.

What you don’t want to do is allow it to take over, because once it does it can make you think Rapidly and then stop you in your tracks, talking you out of it, then you feel guilty for not doing what you wanted and it has ended up not being anything to really worry about at all.

I remember one work Christmas Party and it was a new job but being shy and suffering with Social Anxiety didn’t want to go, well I am glad I did because it was brilliant. Yes I did get drunk, but from that point forward really got to know my new colleagues and began to fit in.

Keep a Journal to answer the Inner Critic and what you really think and what you should do. Example you have split from your boyfriend and you then have the Inner Critic telling you that you shouldn’t have done that, make bullet points as to why you did and then read them out, and create a new plan of action to move on.

When relationships breakdown there is a reason, so write in your journal about it to address the topic, and face the voice by looking in a mirror imaging the Inner Critic is in front of you head on and say “GO AWAY”, silence it by imagining the voice getting quieter and quieter until it is completely muted.

Then reducing the image of the Critic until it completely disappears.

Try doing this several times and you will no longer be dictated by the Inner Critic, but by the voice that is in your gut instead.

I have done a cheat for you to download with this activity and you can even stick it on the wall, and try it every time the Inner Critic speaks.

Impulse thinking

everyone can build a castle, impulse buying, Impulse thinking, investing, making decisions, running a business, Shopping tips and tricks

Women Shopping Royalty Free Cliparts, Vectors, And Stock ...

Often we act on Impulse, such as when we see someone fall over our instinct is to go over and help them, or we impulse buy and then regret it afterwards after looking at our bank balance and realise there is zero amount left.

So how do you use impulse thinking wisely?

Well if you see someone fall over walk over to them slowly but don’t rush over as they could have knife and so may attack especially if they have been drinking, and then crouch down like you would a child and ask “Is everything okay?”.

With impulse buying as like I do if I see a planner I feel the rush of excitement and the thought of I have to have the item otherwise it could go, but the question is, do I really need the item and what benefit will I get from it?

Impulse thinking can work for you or against you. Example we often get fulled by the items being at the checkout  encouraging you to buy, but often if you do the maths the price of that item can still workout to be more, than other brands of products and the impulse items are often on eye level to grab your attention on the shelves.

So next time you wish to invest in an item don’t go  with the first item you see, do the maths and look at the top and bottom shelves as the cheaper items that still taste good can be found on these shelves which will make you more of a saving.

When want to invest in a business we want to run we can do impulse thinking as you have to be quick at making decisions, like do I need a new domain name? Will this content be good enough? I often write my blogs on impulse, as it all depends how I am feeling and what is happening at that moment in time.

So use impulse thinking to your advantage so it works for you not against you and this can lead to everlasting success.

I have also written a blog on my related site Building Self Confidence – The Ugly Duckling so go over to this site if you would like to read my latest post on there too.
