Please check out this video I did about Doubting our capabilities that can stops us from having the life you want. Those That do vs those that don’t
my video of doubting our capbalities.
I tend to do this a lot, and I don’t give myself credit and can be my own worse enemy and now I can say I am glad to be me, which has taken a long time and taken a lot of me to realise that.
I don’t hide away because of my lack of confidence, but use it to help give me a good mindset and to help other people wherever I can.
Being in a Mentalhealth hospital did help me a lot and so thankful for the NHS as I did need that time, and it was a learning curve for me .
You see that they are all their because of broken homes, feeling scared of reality and they not being fully heard.
So, I have been filming some Day in a life videos and talk about my work that I do in terms of writing books, blogs and filming Youtube videos, and that includes my 10 Weekly Habits that help me Establish a good routine.
You have to have a routine that disciplines you in mind and physically.
So, the first habit I do is:
Plan the night before and on Fridays plan for the weekend
Go through my notebooks of content I haven’t posted, that can be made into a blog or a video for my Youtube channel
Spend my time after writing my books and blog posts throughout the day in the morning to spend sometime writing in my journals
I now go walking twice a day and fit in a 6 minute workout on some days
Spend time even though I find Cleaning tideous still have that time to tidy, as it does help to reset yourself
Do some research, by watching other Youtube channels, reading and time listening to an audiobook and watching some TV and replenish my thirst and eat my breakfasts, lunch and dinner away from the computer
Go through my emails and clean out my email accounts
Have no live blogs going up on Sundays
No Day in a life videos on Thursdays and often Mondays too
Checking and updating my social media pages
It seems a lot but it works, and yes I do mix it up too. As I love the film “Groundhog day” but to keep from becoming bored and continously inspired by what is around me.
So what habits do you do weekly? Please comment below.
This is something that I want to do to help people with their Personal Development if they are having a bad time at work, in many industries and how they can build their confidence, and those who have lost confidence.
If you don’t feel good about yourself then that can project onto other people, and so it is important you learn who you are and to love yourself.
Tip#1: Give yourself credit. Go through the days and how you like to spend your days
Tip#”: Now lockdown has cleared, it is time to socialise again with friends and family physically, so start arranging meet ups so you can have a good catch up and the same with seeing relatives you haven’t seen since Lockdown
It is good to restore relationships that are good and not take them for granted, as Lockdown can always come back and then it may be too late.
Tip#3: Make the most of your current situation, and use the tools you have to embrace life and be thankful for what you currently have. For me I am grateful I have legs and feet to enjoy walking and getting regular exercise, I am grateful for my son and my mum, and all my family I have.
Tip#4: Give yourself a break. Stop criticising yourself and always be looking to learn about yourself and go through what you have accomplished so far, and that you want to accomplish in the future.
Tip#5: Always have a plan of where you would like things to go and how you can continue to build success and happiness into your life.
So what tips do you have. Please do give me feedback and thank you so much for the likes and follows I have received. I am very grateful.
Even it reaches to one person, I know people are being helped via my blogs.
Here is a printable of what you can do to take time for yourself. it is so important to do things just for you, so we can continue the day unscathed. This is on A4 but you can change that and I hope you find it useful. This for you Happy Journal that you can put together.
I have now finished my life coaching course, so if you wish to check this out then click here:
It is important you take that time and be with your own thoughts and one thing I like to do is reflect sometimes on what I have done, and what stood out for me that week or on the day.
We all need downtime and so make sure when you schedule your days you take that quality time on yourself.
I am someone who has lived with music, my dad was always playing his records and tapes, and would take his Cassette tape with him when we used to have holidays in Menorca. There are so many songs from that time in my life, that automatically takes me back there. They were fun holidays, even with one time I was very unwell.
Music has been with us in centuries and is for ever growing, as the new generation of artists and song writers come through. For me the 80’s was my era and still listen to music from that time, to now and there is so many hits to choose from.
For me music is how I like to relax, I enjoy singing too and writing music. Something I have done as a kid, and would often imagine myself performing in a concert. That is what music does it helps with your imagination, and it will never go out of fashion.
All it takes is one song, and I let my imagination invision the memory that song gave me and remember how I felt, and what was happening in my life when I first heard that song. Like Red Red wine by UB40 I first heard this when I was hanging out my mum’s bestfriends dads home.
I have no idea of what I would do without music, and Top of the pops was a top show back in the 80’s and 90’s and started around the 60’s or maybe later than that, but that was the show that everyone wanted to be on, to promote their music. I would look forward to watching it, and was sad when they stop recording the hit TV show.
Many artists would start their debut on the TV, when top of the pops were on, and everyone wanted to be there to see it being recorded.
It used to be on BBC 1 on a Thursday at 7:30pm and it was exciting to see who was number one that week, and then there is the music videos. It was Micheal Jackson Thriller that was like part of a movie, when he becomes a werewolf and the A-HA with Take on me.
Music will always be in our lives and it does play a part in life, because it can make us feel that “the song was written for them” as they can identify with the song going on the words its saying.
I love now creating playlists using Youtube and it has saved me lots of money It is songs that I haven’t heard for ages.
So why not create your own playlists and what music do you love. Leave a comment below
Looking back on my childhood I didn’t come from a home where my parents had a lot of money, yet I was still given pocket money. That is something I’d like to do for Henry. I also encourage you to open a bank account for your kids, that can help him when he gets older, and I want to keep adding to it, so he is financially secure.
I have also been someone who is level headed and get along with different types of people. I was a kid who played out on a housing estate, and my friends and I would use the whole length of our estate that it was the norm to play out. As a kid I would play out all of the time and then it stopped. So now going over that memory I love more than anything to be outdoors.
Walking I have done since I was young and it is a good exercise to let go of worries and just chat with someone if you have walking buddy, or on your own and when out like to meet others and say good morning to other walkers too.
Keeping tab on my emotions, and if I need a cry I do. It really helps if I am under a lot of strain often need to cry, not so much now as I am in a good place physically and mentally, but I try not to hold them in. A reason why I journal a lot.
it is a good way to document how you are feeling and find it really useful when I having not such a good day. It was raining a little whilst out, but didn’t hurt me know. Getting doors for me is a breath of freshair, then I am going to see if can fit in walking everyday, around any appointments that I have.
Since a kid I have always loved reading, different types of books and feel that this is the one the most useful and empowering tool you can ever have,, and I will always continue to do this. I love a book which has a lot of funny dialogue, to more serious stories.
So what things have you done since a kid, is there anything that you use now? You can leave a comment below
Life can be too much, and I know “Stating the obvious” but we need balance and stability in our life. Yet it can be hard to come by at times and I find when I am near my menstrual cycle I am super stressed and lethargic.
I am so focused on my writing that I forget to give myself time to rest and recuperate. So now I am going to slow down my work by posting a blog a day at a time, than rather doing too many.
So Good practices to help you to have a stressed free day:
Having a good hearty breakfast and have time to yourself to shower and get ready for the day
Text a friend to meet up and have some BFF time and have a catch up
Take time in your day when you schedule to read a book or listen to a good podcast
Watch a documentary, I love these videos as I find it refreshing in a way and inspiring
Make sure you don’t over work by taking substantial breaks from it and organize a space to do other things
Make everyday count, and set yourself goals one day at a time too
Look forward to better days and have pampering hours, where you get your hair done and make up and paint your nails anything that helps you have a happier less stressful day
Hello and welcome to a new blog post, where i will be sharing some Life coaching strategies and about never compare yourself. We are all different as the world would be a boring place if we weren’t yet we easily compare ourselves to others, as we feel that they have more of a life than you. Well so it seems, but does it get anywhere? No!
I am in a place where I can say I’m finally happy to be me, I don’t want to be a envious or jealous girl I once was, because I find those feelings limiting your self belief. There isn’t enough of someones success to go round.
I was always comparing myself cause I felt you had to be a super human to have a nice home, to be able to work for yourself and that I would never be someone who could buy a new home that I can call mine.
Now I know that is not the case and I do have my own money now and I am not in the need of cash as now I am earning my own money and it has kept me in a good mindset, and has helped me land on my feet. I idolise people like Jennifer Aniston, as she is my fashion icon and I love her character in friends and what she also wears in the show as Rachel Green. I do style myself not to copy but in admiration of her and it that helps as I do like to make an effort on some days in terms of clothes, hair and make up and that gives me a reason to get out of bed for, but to compare, she isn’t me she is her and I would never think of being her as she is her own person,, but I admire cause I think could I wear that what look coiuld I do that would make me feel good about mysefl?
Once you start to compare yourself you find that the ehtusiasm to find you fades and stop you from getting out of bed, so take five minute writing about you and what you are about, not comparing and forget those cause they are never gonna be you, and you are never gonna be them, and it can make you miserable even by trying. So it is important to find out who you are.
So never compare and be you, as you will be surprised once you think about you rather than someone else what qualities you find that you have.
Now if you had seen my blog I wrote about me creating printables for a happy journal I have created another set of printables for it. so see this below:
Being hosptial for mental health I have come to see that the nurses on these wards are wonderful, perhaps I have been lucky in that respect, as i am sure there will be some that disagree, but so far spending time in a psychiatric ward, the nursers are second to none, and are the ones that do the hard work. The Doctor mmm…not convinced so far, but the one thing I felt comfortable with is that, they let you watch TV when you want to, nap, play sports outside and just chat with you and the nurses and other medical staff including the cleaners sit and take time to ask how you are and sit and watch TV with you.
The food isn’t that great but being someone who went to a Primary school that had slop on a plate many days there, the food is bearable, and they lay out some snacks too.
When it comes to mental health it seems that not all the doctors are on board with it, and that is the problem and it likes “Oh lets just change their medication to see if that helps?”, “Really?” and yet when a resident of a mental health hospital needs medication for whatever reason it gets ignored.
CAN YOU SEE THE ISSUE?
For me, in terms of mental health is that, I want to chat with someone every now and again, as we often want being someone who has had mental health issues to reach out to someone who gets it, and only being in a mental health hospital, I got to say I am not convinced that there is in terms of medical science when it comes to doctors and #mentalhealth .
Drugs should only be short term, not long, because with every medication, being on many as a kid, they all have side effects, and some are quite drastic, and what gets me is how the doctors play it down.
The two doctors I love watching Doctor Hilary on Lorraine and Doctor Chris on This Morning, because they seem to understand, if only there were more like them around, and Agony aunts do more than what I have seen of doctors when it comes to medical help, being in a mental health hospital.
Prince William, did a programme a while back with sportsmen and about Mental Health, as the pressure of being a professional sports person does come with a lot of pressure, and when they doubt their ability when playing a professional sport, how they have been effected by it. I thought this highlighted mental health in that anyone can have mental health problems so it should be well respected and given compassion not judgement.
From the doctors I have seen in Epsom they did get it and I felt I was being cared for in the correct way and were listened to, yet in other areas not so much. It feels like they are being quite ignorant about it. Not really caring about the how the person actually feels. The nurses top of their game, and they are the ones who I’d like to work with at some point to have mental health to be understood more and not from someones who assumes just changing their medication will help.
We want to heart, we want support and be heard correctly and not to be shut down and be judged by the one actual person who should on our side, the doctor, and that for me is the problem. The better doctors we have that “Get it” the better we would all feel and the more they do support and not challenge it the more people and children to, will be open up about their mental health.
So if you need support interms of mental health, then the best organisation is Mind.org and they work around the clock in supporting people and by the NHS too, but in terms of the medical support, its some of the doctors that has made me see that things still need to change, as they just “Dont get it”.
