Hello and welcome!

So as we draw nearer to Christmas it will soon be another year over, into a new year and if you haven’t set your goals, now’s the time to start.

To help you I have created a Printable for you, to help you set your goals for 2021, and is a questionnaire.

Goals questionnaire for 2021Download

I have set out my goals that I have mentioned in previous posts written recently, that I have separated my goals in three categories:

  • Home
  • Work
  • Play

I would like to do a video on this, but going to do this in the new year, as I have so many things I would love to develop too.

So set your goals and don’t hold back, be ruthless and aim high.

Many thanks for reading,

Carrie X

Setting Goals for 2021

Following on from that post I want to help you Establish your goals to end 2020, to get ready for 2021.

What do I mean?

Well, first off,

  • Go through and tick off each one that you have accomplished
  • Then what you still would like to achieve that is in your goals list
  • Have any of them changed?
  • What can I still complete by the end of this year?

Goals are like a guide to building yourself as a person, as a mother, a business owner and at home, like wanting a bigger house, or you want to give your home a make over.

With goals it can be anything that will start and end in a positive outcome, to lifting yourself up even more.

As in my previous post, goals can be as bizarre as you want, and keep tabs on the changes of path you take. That is common when you set goals, they are forever growing and evolving.

Life is full of many things and no matter where you are, there are always those who dream big and get it. Never allow this thought to make you jealous. I have come to realise that Jealousy is not a good trait to have, as it makes you hateful and resentful, and I never want to be these two things.

Goals should be able to grow with people who want to the same as you too, and be a shoulder to cry on and a support system, that you know if you fall they are there to lift you up again and in return they do the same.

So establish and go through your goals and never allow anyone to knock you down and stop you.

It’s your life and you owe it to yourself to have the life you have always dreamed of, and there is no excuse to stop, as when you are there, it feels like you are on top of the world and continue to grow even more.

Many thanks for reading,

Carrie X

7 habits for a highly effective home, Being happy, everyone can build a castle, Finding peace, having a better life, Inspiring videos, leaving a fuller life, looking after your wellbeing, looking after yourself, Personal Development, working on yourself to be happier

Hello and welcome to another blog post. In this one I am sharing some inspiring videos, that has given me a great boost of energy.

Check out this video by ClutterBug who shared a video about 7 Habits for a Highly effective home.

If you have read my previous blogposts Some Youtube Favourites I like to watch for inspiration and growth then you will know I am a big fan of MuchelleB who does lot of videos which talk about positive habits, what to do when you have low amount of motivation and how to be more productive.

In this video I am sharing of MuchelleB channel is about A Simple Way to Re-Motivate Yourself When You’ve Hit a Wall We can all hit what I call “A brick wall” where we feel so unmotivated and just want to do nothing. I find her videos so uplifting, including this one I have linked above.

She has also created a video about How to upgrade your life with better decision making. as we can often choose the wrong path. which knocks us off our our feet.

Life to me is about personal growth and being a better version of purselves, and listening and learning from others.

If you know of any Youtube creators that you would like to recommend to me, then please do so in the comments section below.

Keep well and stay safe and I will write another blog on this site on Saturday.

Many thanks for reading,

Coping with Stress

How do handle stress? I stress all the time, like today I was worried in case I didn’t meet my friend on time today or if I would get back home in time to pick up my son from nursery. I realized that I had nothing to worry about, as I got there and back from my destination with no problems at all and even had time to spare.

I read this article which details about how some people handle stress, I found this as a useful tool should I stress out again.

How so you cope with stress?  I would love to  hear, as it always good to get advice from others.

Isolation

Wasn’t sure where I wanted to write this blog, but I felt I needed to add it to this site, as when we are trying to conquer our goals, the one thing that can stop us is isolation. We can often feel like we aren’t part of society and alone.

When I feel isolated the one thing I do is get out of the house and go for a walk. The worst thing you can do is to stay in doors, home alone. Getting out is important, as isolation usually means you need a new environment, and space.

Feeling isolated can lead us to feeling depressed, so getting out will help stop the cobwebs, which is what I call depressive thoughts, from emerging.

Care, Feeling, Female, Couple, Give

If you do get invited out, unless there is trouble getting to somewhere, take up the invite and go.

Isolation means you need to be with people, and you probably find that they too have felt isolated and alone, all they needed just like you, a friend.

If someone does talk to you, give them acknowledgement, instead of trying to ignore them.

It is so easy at times to isolate yourself especially if you are a new mum for example, but this is where meeting other mums for example, can really help. Knowing you aren’t alone in feeling like you a walking meal on tap, as from my own experience, as much as I love my son I did feel often like a walking cow.

Getting out is important for isolation and a new environment can really do the trick.

Many thanks for reading,

Carrie X
