Hello and welcome! Thank you for the follows and the likes of my blog it really means the world to me. In this post I am talking about The Power of the mind/Looking after your wellbeing.

All our minds are our own and taking charge of your mind is the key to unlocking the endphorines that come with The Power of the mind.

What do I mean?

Well, it is controlling the inner critic and having the positive critic heard more than the one that says “No work today lets sit around all day”, then you feel “I’ve wasted the day and now I feel like I have accomplished nothing”.

Does this sound familiar?

So listen to the inner critic and ask it “If I listen to you how will I feel if I don’t wash my car or take a shower that day?”

Am I gonna feel good, bored or frustrated by the fact the car is still dirty and I feel clammy?

When I was getting up and then going back to bed for an extra snooze I would wake up about 12 and then feel I had lost part of the day, yet now I wake up early and start writing blogs, creating books and other tasks I have, I now feel I have more energy to work on, and then everything else fits into the day too.

Our minds work like a train station, where we start at one platform and place and then once we have completed those tasks and routine of our morning move to the next platform and station. We run by blood, water and bone, and when we run out of steam we can delay our work and proscrinate. We can avoid tasks as we see them as a huge problem and a burden and feel pressure because if we don’t it delays the other tasks we want to do.

Take your time with tasks and block them in the day and the more challenging the task reward yourself so next time we do something we have to do but don’t like we have an incentive to complete it to then move to the next station and do the things we love again.

The more difficult the task the bigger the reward.

It helps to look after yourself and stop neglecting your wellness because we need to let people hop on so we can then move for the second party of the journey and reach the final destination.

I talk about goal setting a lot and when we give ourselves too much to do it can make us more pressured and ends up delaying part of our jobs to move onto the next stop.

When you give yourself just 5 things perlist it eases the pressure and furthers our wellbeing. We aren’t robots but humans and so we need to for our wellness by kinder to ourselves, check out this video where I share the ways in which I do will be doing that: How should we be kinder to ourselves. It is important we give ourselves slack, as we aren’t made to multi-task but me focussed on one thing at a time.

Our minds can get clogged up and so anything you can jot down to schedule do so and then go through the wants to the haves and then circle a few and the less to do’s the more goals we can set.

Look after yourself and give yourself some credit rather than piling on the amount of things to do and enjoy life more.

We aren’t put on this planet to work ourselves to the bone but with balance and stability we can do more by giving ourselves less.

Hello and welcome to a new blog post, where i will be sharing some Life coaching strategies and about never compare yourself. We are all different as the world would be a boring place if we weren’t yet we easily compare ourselves to others, as we feel that they have more of a life than you. Well so it seems, but does it get anywhere? No!

I am in a place where I can say I’m finally happy to be me, I don’t want to be a envious or jealous girl I once was, because I find those feelings limiting your self belief. There isn’t enough of someones success to go round.

I was always comparing myself cause I felt you had to be a super human to have a nice home, to be able to work for yourself and that I would never be someone who could buy a new home that I can call mine.

Now I know that is not the case and I do have my own money now and I am not in the need of cash as now I am earning my own money and it has kept me in a good mindset, and has helped me land on my feet. I idolise people like Jennifer Aniston, as she is my fashion icon and I love her character in friends and what she also wears in the show as Rachel Green. I do style myself not to copy but in admiration of her and it that helps as I do like to make an effort on some days in terms of clothes, hair and make up and that gives me a reason to get out of bed for, but to compare, she isn’t me she is her and I would never think of being her as she is her own person,, but I admire cause I think could I wear that what look coiuld I do that would make me feel good about mysefl?

Once you start to compare yourself you find that the ehtusiasm to find you fades and stop you from getting out of bed, so take five minute writing about you and what you are about, not comparing and forget those cause they are never gonna be you, and you are never gonna be them, and it can make you miserable even by trying. So it is important to find out who you are.

So never compare and be you, as you will be surprised once you think about you rather than someone else what qualities you find that you have.

I am going to do a series of posts which will have a free printable so you can start creating a Happiness Journal either by printing it out in A5 for a filofax, to stick into a notebook, to develop your own EBook and to print it out in A4 aswell, as you may want to attach them to a vision board or a fridge. I have put together on Youtube two play lists, one is my Life coaching vids and another of other peoples videos that I wanted to add to my tools and information for Life Coaching to help you to have a better life and a better year.

So in this one I have a front cover sheet in A5 and A4 and a happy tracker sheet in these sizes too:

Hello and welcome! So in this weeks Monday post I am talking about 10 Ways of Creating a Life to remember.

To do that I what want to go through the things you still love in your life. Now when doing this be really true to yourself and don’t say it because you feel it is the right thing to say, but that is a true feeling inside of you, that you want those things still in your life.

It is more or less A DECLUTTER OF LIFE!

So where to begin,

  1. I would write down people first, and I have made a Promise to myself to not allow Toxic people in my life anymore and if they want to be like it let them, I just don’t want them around me, as they are Toxic for a reason.
  2. Then declutter the memories of those people, and take pictures of the true people in your life, so your memory focuses on those and not ones of those that bought you down in your passed
  3. Then go through your possessions, and be Ruthless about it. I have a written a new EBook called Spice Up Your Life, and in it I talk about being Ruthless, and should be up tomorrow on Amazon.com under the name Carrie Lee Holmes
  4. Create a Wall Full of Happiness, where you have all the people who you love and in a place you can spend 5 to 10 minutes looking at, and why not in your bedroom or hallway you walk through a lot, and with a cup of coffee in your hand, look at it, before you begin your day
  5. Make some personalised items of your favourite photos and create a display of those things, but if you buy a mug for example you can use it in a functional way too, by using it as a Pen holder, but I would prefer to use it for a Coffee to be honest
  6. Develop a story of your life so far, by creating a photo book and of places you love travelling to and have a travel journal. Or the same as with the Happiness Wall, have a Wellbeing Gallery on a wall in your home
  7. Why not have your own Wall of Fame, and pictures of when you went on girl holidays and where you met the love of your life. It does feel good to be in love again, I think I need a bucket of cold water, but is that gonna stop me being in love? NO WAY!
  8. Why not learn a new skill and document it as you learn, by keepiing a journal and pictures
  9. Have your own desiginer clothes range or a series of self published books, as it can lead to so many opportunities
  10. Develop a programme full of possibility and hope, by doing rituals and new habits that will drive you through a better and successful life

Hello so if you didn’t know I am doing a Life Coaching programme called “Project 2021” where I will sharing tools and information to help you create a better life and a better year.

Part of my work as a blog writer and a youtube video creator, I do a lot of research and I have been watching many videos by Terry Savelle Foy and she does a brilliant one about 21 day challenges to introduce more positive habits into your life. So I put together a Playlist and a Pinterest board with “Project 2021” content by me and other Content Creators including celebrities included, so here is the Youtube Play list I have done:

I have also on my Pinterest created some new visions boards, one is a New Look for 2021 and another which features Fashion Look books and I also want to do a new Home Vision board, being that i will be moving very soon.

It is all about putting your dream in pictures and the one tip I was given today, by my Love Lee is that when brainstorming don’t do it like a neat line by line list, but either by a spider graph or by randoming listing ideas, because he has seen that when I do it that way I achieve it.

He also follows this method himself. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to find a man that loves you out of this world including your work. I even journalled that I hope that there would be a real true love for me still as I knew my first marriage was coming to an end.

As it is Mothers day that I have written this blog to go out on Monday tomorrow, it is Mothers day and it is the ladies who were my grandmothers who influenced me the most and what I am going to add to my Year vision board is a picture of them both and add their beliefs and habits that have followed within me, that have helped me get to where I am today, because I did a video for my Weekend Chat video where I actually said for the first time that I am Proud of me, and that has taken a lot.

I am going to find images of when i achieved some of my dreams as a kid too, to add to help keep my positive mind and new future to help continue my growth in this world. I have learned that no matter how hard times can be you do still find good people along the way that keep you driven and focused and who your true family and friends are, as they will be there in your darkest hour.

So you keep going and try the 21 challenges idea and see what habits have helped develop your life even more.

Hello and welcome! Here is a new blog post which is going to be added to my Life Coaching Programme “Project 2021”, and this is about Get Your Life Together, so time to start making changes so you are happier and have more to your life than being confined to four walls.

One of my favourite places I love to go and soon will be moving near here and can’t wait. Its good to have places that makes you happy and fulfilled aswell as people. This is in St James Park, Central London

Not too late to make Life changes, as it is March but so what, you can make life changes all year round, and You don’t need the New Year to do it.

So my routine is one that has helped me to get enough sleep but still even with a small amount of time there is left in the day I still get stuff done. The point of working for yourself is to give yourself time to rest and recuperate and spend time on not the “Got To List” to the “What I want to do list”.

Set challenges for yourself. I do this a lot and it helps me to have a good balance, and so I tend to do this with money and see when I go grocery shopping of how much I can get under £20 and that has at the minute been my budget and use what I have, so I have not had to spend money on food for the last 3 weeks and trust me makes huge difference and when I am with my new family soon, be doing the same. Now when I move into my new home I will be increasing my budget but still be seeing where and how I can save money still. Just because you are financially secure that its an excuse to flush down to the toilet, but invest wisely.

I came across a video I kept in my Notepad APP from last year, but the method can still be applied this year by a popular Content Creator and Life Coach, Terri Savelle Foy called 5 Ways To Get Your life together for 2020.

Now I am someone that when I do sleep in I do have that “Waste of a day” guilt when it doesn’t matter what time you get up but What You Want to Get out of the Day. So the Life change I have started to apply is to Stop self punishment, as I have been so unkind to myself, that if that was someone else saying those things to me, I would tell them to leave alone and go away, so yes, #BeKind to yourself, have #selfrespect

I think we get so stuck on the New Year when it comes to making changes in our lives and feel some kind of New Year Pressure, and why we can fall, and not complete our resolutions, but I never make these, being someone who fell too. Never see it as failure as that is not right its because we are seeing a resolution being a one time thing, and not something that is long standing, so scrap resolutions and make a list of the thing you love and how wish to grow in the next years coming up. One way is to create a Career Tree, see below and an example of the one I have done, and I will add this to my Content Creators Planner I am putting together, so keep posted on details on this.

So to get back on track if you have lost your way a bit, that can happen sit down and spend time making notes and go through by keeping a journal which I use everyday to help find why your plans for this year have stopped as you can always get back into it.

Spring is a perfect time to make changes if not in the New Year, as that is when crops start to grow, animals come out of hibernation and give birth, and we have longer days and so don’t worry if it is passed the new year, You can’t still make a change.

Have a Pjama day. I spend my Sundays in my sweats which are also my night clothes, and it is really nice to have a day where I don’t feel I need make up, but sometimes I will and use it as my Admin Free Choice Day and I think this has been something I have done religiously going on the bible not never thought of it that way. I am a kid who on Sunday’s it was a day of a lot of shops would be closed except pubs and some restaurants and so would use this day to go and see my friends in Chelsea, watch my brother play football, play pitch ‘n’ putt at Bishops park, ride our bikes along the river and often BBC 2 would put on some old black and white films I loved and football.

So have a day where you can just do what you enjoy and some people I know don’t even get out our bed and still do work, but in bed, and when I am in my new home, very soon being doing this again too.

I also have days where I will eat something different and there is a wonderful Comedian who I do know so well “My Love” who does this, “something different on tour or on holiday that you wouldn’t have at home” and watching a documentary of this wonderful human being, I do too. ALWAYS! Why not? YOUR ARE ON HOLIDAY SO DO WHAT YOU LIKE AND as long AS noone is at harm, MAKE HOLIDAY TIME TO BE DIFFERENT TO EVERYDAY!

Then the other things is creating a good fitness routine which is a very common promise that people make to themselves including me and i am putting a new site together so I will keep you posted on this, but if you find working out hard just do it once a week, exercise whilst waiting for breakfast to cook or whilst the kettle boils. You can fit it in but In your own schedule not by somebodies elses, which is a common mistake.

Also to keep you fitness going each year introduce something new, to your regieme and fit in regular walking, as this is easy to do and easier to fit in and stick too. I also love doing dance workouts and boxercise exercises.

What you can do if you don’t want to set yearly goals set some for the day, week and month and I go through mine each month and with a vision board see my last post Creating a Vision board see if any of them have changed and often through the year update them and change, as often you can go in a different direction than the start of the year, so life is always revolving and I do live seasonally and change my life habits sometimes. There is always room in a year to start a fresh and using the different seasons in the year is a way of doing so. It is all about being current and being you still, but growing.
