I am still the girl who would sit on the edge of my bed and have my Hi-Fi playing whilst I daydreamed with each song, the girl who imagines that I am in a concert in my mind, and will be full of dreams and ambitions, and I am glad to still be that girl.
Music can be the best source of feeling good about your life and yourself. It can take us to places we may never reach but seems so close to being like that in our heads that we can almost can touch it, and dive in to be part of your life.
It is so important to find yourself and it can take a long time to be acceptive of yourself, yet music calms and make sense of difficult situations, it can be a great healer and I remember my dad telling that to help people out of comas they would often have family play music, and I like that now as life, and I love having new adventures. I love discovering new music and dream to be involved in that world of havng songs played out on the radio.
Music has been a massive influence in my life and it just takes often one song to help lift my spirits and can be a good for concentration as I write this blog and listen to some Kylie Minogue tracks. It helps me lose myself and get a lot completed in my life.
So if you feel you need some hugified music put it on and enjoy.
Do you often question your life? I know I do, and this part of the year is where I feel the most stressed and if knew why I’d say but I don’t. I think the changing of the clocks can effect me as it has for years when going to and back in the dark we need that Vitamin D in our bodies and when you lack it I believe from my experience that my body is lacking that Vitamin, so I am going to pick up Vitamin D supplement to help this.
When it comes to winter time I do what it takes to rise my spirits up, when leaving now and also the lack of energy I feel is nature, my period, sorry if that is TMI its true, my monthly cycle can effect my mood.
I like to go for walks and yesterday I had a good constructive day even though at the time it didn’t feel like it.
I find I need to get out and see people. I love travelling to and from different places so going to plan some winter walks and looking to do more volunteer/fundraising for charity again as I was doing fundraising events, like the London 10K and Race for life and more.
When you do such things it really is rewarding and I miss it.
I need a more changes in my life now and feel it will happen I just need to be patient and build more around me to prevent me from feeling the winter slump that I can often feel.
I am looking forward to Christmas and have many things planned and this helps pull me through too, and feel like I have acccomplished a lot even when feeling less energentic and going to push through.

When we feel we aren’t getting anywhere brainstorm to workout why and being on your period is unavoidable but how you feel towards the hormones is to say “Stop I am gonna have a good day regardless”.
Reflect over the year you have had, what would have changed what can you learn from this year so far so it ends better than what he begun and what can you change right now. Not yesterday or tomorrow but now?
Be honest with yourself and mark from 1 to 10 how you feel and what one change would mean to your life as we draw near to another one?

Hello, and I hope you have had a good week, and I am ready for the weekend. This week on this blog site I saw that I have had 5,000 views and so thank you. I am so happy that this site is getting such a response as I want people to use this site to help them and feel good by my blogs.
This blog asks, “Does time effect us from being successful in life?”
If you are getting flustered by the things in your life then yes, because I go at such a speed sometimes that I hit that wall, and I have talked about that in previous blogs and videos, and so I give myself a realistic list of what I know I can get done and not suffer with burnout and the day should start how it ended.
So meaning, that it should start full of energy and end with a good steady pace like it begun.
Rushing when you dont’ realise it. I am guilty, and so I will take my time now, rather than jamming all what needs to be done in one day. This can lead us to self sabotage and to give up before you’ve even started.
If you are struggling with time then it can effect our success because we feel its to bigger a mounting to get anything done, and you have kids running around, whilst you try to tidy things awat, you feel that your email inbox is getting fuller and yes I am guilty of that. We plan to wash our hair and have a pampering evening and you end up feeling to knackered to even lifting a finger, so yes it can cause us to say “I can’t do this”.
Well look around and look at your lists, is there anything that catches your eye on your list and stands out on your list? If it does then this should be the first item to get done and completed.
We all want to be like be Mary Poppins and have a carpet bag that can carry a hat stand and a lamp but this is a musical and if you like to pretend you are whilst cleaning singing “A Spoonful of sugar” going and put the sound track on. I am writing this blog listening to the Eurythmics in concert on Youtube, and so if that it what it takes to get back on the road of being on time with your life and gets your life in shape so it doesn’t hold you back from being successful then do it.
Should time be in a goal?
Yes! This is what I am saying, “Time can be used to challenge yourself”. So before you read on, get a bin that is empty or even a storage container and go around the room putting thing into it, and have three bins in fact. One saying Inbox and one saying Outbox and another to give away if you find items you no longer need.
Getting rid of stuff in family homes can take alot to get rid of items, but if you want more time then create it. Block scheduling a must and just giving yourself 5 minutes a day can make all the difference, and I clean my desk at least once a week and scheduling has become my bestfriend.
Create chart with the time you have spare and put down what is the first space that can be sorted out first and if you need to take a break then do so.
So yes time can effect our success because we think we have to do everything now but actually you don’t.

I listed mine above in the picture of the jar, and it is writing for a magazine, as I watch Sheer Lux on Youtube, and would love to be part of that world.
With the list I have made, you can add items in as much as would fit in the jar, and have different jars, for what would make you happy.

So I am not saying to disrespect the new year and I know “We are still in October, please talk about the new year when in December”, but this for me is when I start to set my goals for the end of this year, to end the year in a bang and start the new year off with a bang, but they will things that will change my life forever not just because its the end of an old year to a new one.
Each year I get emotional over the end of it, because it is another one gone and I feel pressure sometimes, that I have to step it up even more.
I still don’t have all my goals achieved due to the circumstances, yet I am gonna keep them to achieve for next year and I go through them, to see if any of them have changed and if I have to alter any.
Each year I make a lot of life changes, but no resolutions, as they to me aren’t a one time thing, but items I can achieve through out the year and again, and are life changing.
So, I am gonna sit with a notepad today and start planning up to the end, my goals for the end of this year, and to then carry them over and add more, for the following year.
I will create some printables to set you on the treck to ending the year and to start a new one, so you can restart your life, but lowering the pressure.
This means creating a new vision board and planning my programmes for next year, as in the Spring I am going to do like this year, “2022 Spring and Summer Programme” and will be like this year, building a better year and life for ourselves.
I will be going through items that hold me back and address them and creating new challenges for myself.

So first of all. Thank you so much in liking my blogs on this site and so happy that you liked my 30 day challenge I did on this site, it really means everything to me.
In this blog post I am talking about Restart your life anytime not just for the New Year.
When it comes to restarting your life it means putting a lot to rest. If you aren’t feeling happy with certain people in your life, either discuss this with them and moving on to more like minded people who you do feel you have a connection with.
Have a life cleansing routine or ritual, for me this is when I spend time having a shower, using a body scrub, wash my hair and do some exercise and writing.
Getting projects that are overdue done and set a day of when you want to complete them, and then follow the cleansing routine or ritual as a reward to yourself.
Change the things you read, wear and use by rotating system, where by you sort out of say clothes and to make sure they get worn you go through what you have worn a lot and what you haven’t so to make sure you do get to wear those clothes you love, take them out to remember to do so. I like to go through my clothes of items worn or not worn for a while to wearing and have all my autumn and winter shoes out ready to wear.
Stop the self doubt and start living the life you want, like you already are. Dreams can be as big as you want them to be, and often you need patience and determination and keep seeing the vision and develop it as you get closer to your dreams.
Never allow others dictate your life for you, but have a network of support who you know will help drive you forward and when you set yourself up to be heard then do so and raise the bar of your success.
For me it is getting rid of the passed and being in the now and what is next in your life.
Just be worthy of yourself and give yourself praise and vision of how you would like to feel about you, and what gives you a neverending successful feeling and dreams are to live, breath and remember to take it all in, so you don’t miss it.
Hello and welcome! This is a post I want to create to talk about How People have created magic when really it could have flopped.
So, I normally I will talk about singers, actors, royality, presenters of TV shows and have built up their lives as a life coach. One being Tony Robbins for example. Who else has changed how we go about ourlives?
Philip Schofield who went from being in the broom cupboard on children’s TV to musicals. Joseph and the technicolour dreamcoat and was the first presenter of kids TV that crossed that line and he turned people’s heads. “How can he be in a musical when he would introduce children’s TV and talk to puppets like Gordon the Gopher and Ed the duck?”
Well by being wellknown and becoming a household name. It seemed at the time, that he was surprised he was wanted by Andrew Llloyd Webber, and it was a risk, yet it worked and did change how we saw people on TV. This is not having two many eggs in one basket.
The film philadelphia bought home how Aids was was percieved when it first came about. How prejudice people would get about someone with HIV, yet it won oscars and was Tom Hanks and the writers that bought it into the light, and made it to one of the most famous films of the world.
There was then the Spice girls who were so different to each other and they broke records with their songs and I remember when living in a housing estate seeing girls copying their dance moves. Their pictures would be advised on bus stops and buses, and made a film and got to meet Prince Charles and Nelson Mandela.
Linford Christie and Usain Bolt. Linford was bought up where I was, Hammersmith and was the most successful athlete of all time for Great Britain and England, and Usain Bolt a local Jamican who slept in a hut for most of his life and family was poor.
This teaches me that, just because on paper it says you will end up cleaning streets, doesn’t mean that you will. If there are miles of stones to cross that strength and determination can create magic wherever you go.
It is about being different and standing out and people who create magic do it because they create things like songs that last a lifetime and films. Its created a life that is possible and that you lived like a person already successful.
Magic can be created by anyone and so challenge yourself to create magic as if you’re already doing so.

Hello and welcome! This is my inspiring stories blog sharing the story of The Queen of Soul, Whitney Houston, who had a voice that could sing the phonebook and it sounding incrediable. She had a powerful, gental and its hard to describe really as it would be magical and I would listen to Whitney all day sometimes playing her records, tapes and then CD’s.
I would imagine that her voice was mine and that I wrote them, as they were such great hits and when she died I was devastated as she took a break from music for a while and then came back, and she had so much more to give, that it made me question “How can life workout like that”. Her first album she did rocketed and in the music world that even now it is rare but she did it.
I have all her albums and my favourite song is still for me “The Greatest Love of all” writen by Stevie Wonder, and he released this aswell. but even Stevie couldn’t fault that Whitney’s version put it on the map to success. Stevie Wonder and Whitney did a song together on her album “I’m your baby tonight” and it was a song called “We didn’t know”.
Whitney was singing at a young age and sang with her mum in a gospal choir and was a true believer of God and her career took off with her very first song “How will I know” and is about how does she know she has found love and does she stand a chance of being in love and she is not sure of the guy wants to be with in love and is hers forever.
I remember hearing from her Second Album she did starting off with the song “I wanna dance with somebody, somebody who loves me” when in Gatwick Airport off to our yearly holiday in Menorca and when I came back bought her second album on Cassette tape and continued to buy her albums, as they were all as good as the last one.
She then changed her music for a while to R&B “That’s not right but its okay” and did as good as the last even though it was a whiles since her soul albums and had a total change of music to make it current.
Her Cousin that Whitney saw as an Aunt and were so close was, another lady of Soul and Mowtown, Dionne Warwick and she too had a phenominom career as a Music Artist and had many hits that Whitney had good teachers of music in her life, and it was the artists that she collaborated with like George Micheal, Mary J Blige, she had meet that helped cruise herr to the top and those who love her will remain, like me fans forever,
Whitney’s life as a kid wasn’t luxury and were part of a struggling community, that believed in God and music to help them through tought times, like the Partied and racism. She never entetained that and her music was all about Love of everyone including children and love that is unconditional. She like me struggled with reality and continouously battling with herself not feeling good enough.
Many people were surprised by this, but fame does not mean you no longer feel insecure and in fact many who struggle with themselves turn their life around because music, creating records take a lot of work, tells a story which other people can relate to. People who are unconfident in themselves are more passionate and have more drive.
Whitney Houston movie career began with the Hit Film The Bodyguard and was about a artist who is at the prime of her career, is targetted because of her fame and received death threats and so Kevin Costner, who plays her bodyguard tries to stop it and Whitney’s charactors isn’t at all impressed at first and is a turbelant relawtionship,
Then she went on to making further films, with music still being her number one passon and marrried another Artist Bobby Brown and they had a daughter together and for while she wasn’t doing so well.
Whitney for me is still a lady of wonderful music and that is how I would like to remember her and I will always listen to her songs as they still give me so much joy and peacefulness.
She was a lady of love and devotion, but sadly the price of fame did arrive and sad that it all ended as there was more to come from her, and did bring out further music but its sad her and her daughter, Bobbi Kristina, left the world as they did.
Thank you Whitney for the music you created with your voice and I miss you but glad your music lives on and for being such an amazing artist of soul.
Hello and welcome! This is the last post as part of my 30 day challenge where I have been posting on this site daily and glad I did. This is it for my daily blogs and thank you for the follows and likes I have received and sorry to bombard your inbox of my posts I just wanted to see if I could do it and to grow my content more but now will go back to posting on this site once a week.
In this post I talking about Changing the Routes to your life from a brainstorm I did before I this challenge and I have already covered on this site about Changing the story of your life and journey which became an EBook check out Amazon.com and under the name Carrie Lee Holmes and making small changes to your life and to do that you do need to make decisions on the route to lead you to having a better life and build it up to an everlasting change.
I have taken different routes in my life like a complete career change to working in Butlins Bognor Regis, temping and then returning to work in London and Chessington etc, and glad I did because it what worked at the time. Now I am ready for a new set of challenges by taking further routes and expanding myself I am glad to have found writing again.
I am able to look at myself now and think “Your doing okay and stay on this route it is heading onto more good things and keeping my spirits high”.
Sometimes it means sitting down again and going back to the drawing board to take a different route and setting new goals.
Scrapping goals is okay as unplanned events can take over and so changing goals is not failure it is re-routing your plans and adapting them to unexpected avenues that have cropped up, and develop new skills and changing the view of your situation.
I have been lucky that I have worked for many organisations and now ready to expand even more and because I was in a Mentalhealth hospital for a month, it really made me re-order my life and made me more guarded and choose my next route to grow myself even further.
