Building self confidence has been something I have had to work on through out my life, and there are times when I feel a massive wave of confidence and some days where I have wanted to just hide away somewhere.
Here is a really great video by Tony Robbins, who talks about Creating Unstoppable Self confidence. See Below:
He talks about self sabotage. I am guilty of doing this myself, constantly criticizing things I do, like when I film for my Youtube channel and that nagging thought of is this good enough?
Why would anyone watch this?
I now listen to it and learned to push it away, and think of the good things I am getting out of filming for example, like I want to share how I clean my home, and things I have bought and how I handle lack of self confidence with others, because I enjoy it and want to build my blogs and Youtube audience, as I want to inform others who share the same interests.
it can be constant battle in your mind when it comes to building self confidence because that inner critic constantly wants to have its say, but learning to answer and handle that critic is the way to building better self confidence.
I would love to hear from you, if you to have had to work on your confidence and what you have done to build your confidence.
I was inspired to write this blog since coming across Tracy Hensel video “Today’s habits determines tomorrow results.
I’ve recently had to control my eating habits, as I have been diagnosed with having Type 2 diabetes. I know creating new eating habits will make me feel better about my self in the long run and feel more healthy.
Check out Tracy Hensel video below:
I made a video some time ago which I found on camera which I did post about making life changes, and creating new habits will help continue those life changes.
Just creating simple habits can help, like reduce the amount of coffee you drink or opt for decaf instead, which is one thing I have done, going on a long brisk walk once a week, or start a gratitude journal, having a huge clean up once a week.
It doesn’t have to be rocket science, it just has to be something that you feel needs to change, to help you feel better about yourself.
I have struggled with having low self confidence, having constant anxiety, and feeling continuously anxious all through my life. Making life changes can really help control those feelings, by making small gradual changes.
So want to make some changes to your lifestyle? Then why not start now, it is never too late.
I was so sad to hear that Claire Wineland who is a public speaker and also made various Youtube videos, had died.
She was and still will be an inspiration for so many. The way she spoke and what she said about people with illnesses truly made sense. Just because some is sick doesn’t mean you should pity them, as people are more than their sickness, they are still human after all.
Here is video proving what a true inspiration she was. She may have gone but never forgotten.
Check out my new Self Confidence video, I filmed some time ago, but is still relevant. I talk about how I no longer make resolutions, but life changes instead.
You would have seen my brief mention of change of career.
I am soon to be a Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Assistant, and I knew exactly that, that was going to be my new career, I had, had enough of working in a call centre, and wanted a change.
It has been a challenge looking after my son, but now he soon to start school I didn’t want to stop looking after children and wanted to work either in a playgroup setting or nursery, as it is so rewarding to help children develop as they go through their early stages of life.
I am at the mind set now that I have go for what I want, rather then settling for any kind of job, that will do. I have had enough of that.
I know it will be challenging, as I am going to be responsible for other peoples children, but I am looking forward to the change and the challenge.
I have gotten in the living the moment, rather than daydreaming of being in a different place, and wishing I was doing something else, rather than living for each day.
Now I am in that mindset, I do feel life is working out better and don’t feel like I am stuck in a rut.
So go for your dreams and what you want to do, not for what you have to do.
Everybody has the right to live their dream so go for it, and never be afraid of set backs, just keep following you heart and you will get to the destination you have dreamed of.
Life is full of hurdles, we go through some good times and some bad, and it is how you react to the bad times that can help you concentrate on the good.
I have been watching some inspiring videos of those with terminal illnesses, or have been fighting an illness, and I didn’t purposely go to watch these, I came across them via Youtube, and has made me put my own life in perspective.
The first person I started watching was a young lady called Emily Hayward, who was battling with cancer. She sadly lost her life only a couple of weeks ago, but her videos were so uplifting, that you kind of oversaw the illness she was facing. She made you understand what it is like to go through such a battle. She was such a fighter that I think how she came across and lived her life, will live on, and will help those who also fighting illnesses like cancer.
I also came across a lady called Charlotte Eades who had a Brain Tumor. She developed a Youtube Channel not just about her fight with cancer, but her love for beauty, fashion and handbags. She filmed way up until she died, and her family have carried on making videos to help others and helped to raise money to help those with brain tumors, so more research can go into brain related cancer.
I then came across some videos called My Last Days, first one is of a girl named Kat who was battling Gastric Cancer. To warn you some scenes you might find distressing, but wanted to share it, as her story is so inspiring and she has a wonderful surprise at the end, and does something for a little boy whom had leukemia.
Then I came across a girl named Claire Wineland, who also has a Youtube channel. See her story below.
Life is full of challenges, but seeing things from someone else eyes can really help you face those challenges, not allow them to predict how you feel.
