Autumn Reset, Being productive, completing projects, getting things done, planning and organising, reflecting on the reset so far

So getting my projects done I begun to use a planner I got from The Works and planned on sorting out my bedroom in Epsom and where I am going to start, to get it all cleared and be ready to move items to the shed we have once we can sort out the shelving, cupboards, floor and walls.

So I have began to sort out the corner unit in my room and cleared the tidied the top of it and on Monday will be clearing the inside to tidy up my clothes and then start clearing out the closet by observing that I can clear some of the storage bins in there, in order to sort out my craft items and so got toys to get rid of that are out in the corridor and they are toys with bits missing and so no good to anyone.

I have worked on my book and glad to have gone to Morden hall this week, see my latest vlog which features this https://youtu.be/51UAqGNvaic plotting my book, create my script for my Financial living Youtube channel and filmed that today https://youtu.be/giFVlp3oVWY and saw another Secondary school this week that could be a possibility for my son to got to once he has finished in year 6, which is next year.

I only got 3 more questions to answer to complete my last unit on my counselling course and thinking of ideas for my room and created a vision board for it and would recommend in doing this and one thing I love to to, is on amazon create a wish list of items that I have seen and have created a board on my Pinterest where you can find my blogs from last week if you have not read them yet, with other content on there too:

Please check out my printable which is free to download. You can find it here Autumn Reset

Have a great weekend and please share of your 2nd week of doing this reset that I do each year and thank you for your visiting and if you want more blogs like this then please like and subscribe, as then you don’t miss one.

Many thanks for reading,

Autumn Reset: Doing things I don’t like doing

Autumn Reset, Being productive, dong things you don't like doing, having a clearer mindset, health and wellbeing

So there aren’t many things I don’t like doing, I find editing a real challenge and that is my books and videos and need to have more fun doing these things, which I am still trying to establish. I am not a fan of cleaning. I know some love it, but for me I’d rather watch paint dry, yet I still, because what I do like is that the long lasting result and feelings when it is done, is do it and it helps brighten up my feelings and going through a transition because now, after being a hoarder for so long, want to own less and be wiser on what I buy and working on my finances and getting this back in shape, has made a huge difference and exercising.

Doing a reset can really help, because it can help to get back on track and how I created my Autumn Reset and there are others do the same, and what helped me with mine, and want to encourage you to do the same, so you have a clearer mindset.

I don’t always like a routine as such now, but like being productive and making sure I prioritize and have family time and not being on my laptop all day and I enjoy the process of having a clear out and I enjoy having projects, because I like connecting with people and want to do more social events, to build more friendships and build myself, to grow.

Laziness used to be my biggest habit and would have days where I’d still be in my PJ’s and have lazy days but looking back to those days, doing this made me feel even more tired, and so changed this by focusing on preparing myself for each day, and not always setting the alarm. As a kid in the Autumn and Winter when it started to get cold and dark, wish I could hibernate like animals as getting up is still a struggle for me and this morning I did did go back to bed, but, then thought “No, get up” and I did.

Alarms used to piss my right off, and would get on my nerves and hated setting it, especially on my old phone, that would tell me how many hours I had to sleep and then would spend all night worrying about the time, and wanted to smash them. I never did, how much I was tempted, but just would be by worst enemy.

Then there was going to school. I never got used to routine of school and would never sleep on a Sunday night knowing I had school again, and wished we had a longer weekend. Looking back I would do a reset by making sure I did my homework, but would be done last minute and wished I never got started, and now I like education, and I think it is because I can more of less do it in my own time, and hated being forced to do it, on subjects I had no interest in.

Doing things the night before can help or for short bursts. Just now as I write this blog tidied the table in the living room and vacuumed the floor and will pretend to ignore the mess, but seeing the result by cleaning up, helps my wellbeing and gives good energy to get tasks done and completed.

It can be so easy procrastinate and sit watch TV all day and spending all day in bed, and every morning of the week I get that fatigue and think I will, once my son goes off to school, get some extra sleep, and so I? No, I will go out for the walk and as soon as my alarm goes off I get dressed and this helps me to not get back into bed, and start my day, seeing my son off to school and thankful to his dad, as he will help too and would miss it, if he didn’t, and so truly thankful for that.

Delegate duties can make a difference, of things you don’t like doing. I no longer like clothes shopping. I get the buzz at first if I see items I like, but then quite quickly the momentum is gone, and hate shopping during the Christmas period, or Black Friday, and so avoid the shops at all costs, when this is going on, and so will plan ahead and getting tasks completed can help with that, because frees the time I have to get ready for Christmas and what to buy and not need to shop on the high street if I don’t have too.

So there are ways around it and focus on what we do like doing.

I would really like you to tell me, in the comments below of things you don’t like doing and tips you may have in getting them done. Your feedback is truly welcomed.

Many thanks for reading.

Life Coaching Programme “Summer Project 2023” Planning your life: Focusing on using one method to plan my life

Being productive, everyone can build a castle, focusing on one thing method, getting my life together, Planning

I watched a video by Terry Savelle Foy. and did try to find the video, but couldn’t, but she spoke about having everything in one place, and so using a Filofax I have, I am trying this out. I do still like a bullet style journal where I write notes for my videos, actual journaling, and using a basic notebook for writing notes for blogs and books, but when it comes to planning, trying to do this using my Filofax and it has made a difference, but it is quite bulky and for me I have found it tricky.

Check out this video where I feature my Filofax:

I like using my note apps on my phone and OneNote, and I find it helps keep it digitally so don’t have to carry my Filofax with me when out, but I do like jotting things down on paper, helps keep on top of things, and if my phone stops working or my laptop I still got it all written down.

I could use my Filofax for my books and videos, but would get super bulky, so for planning yes it works, but with someone has so many plans, and ideas, it is good to use a notebook too, along with digital software, and my phone.

Good to give it a try, and perhaps if I used a liver arch folder, perhaps that would be the answer, but means my Filofax would go to waste, but the one thing I am trying to do, is use what I got and don’t want to be bogged down with having so many notebooks now, and has helped me from not having to use a notebook, all of the time as they can add to clutter. I was buying them because of their pretty cover, and not because I actually needed them.

If you’d like to see me talk more about my Filofax and what I have created in a video on my main channel then please comment below. My main Youtube channel is: https://www.youtube.com/@typicallondongal

I showed how it was organised before, but have made some changes.

For me a planner has to be functional so I can change pages and create my own, and I bought the academic diary insert from Amazon, along with the dividers and used note pages to adapt it to what I want to include, in it. Note pages are from Amazon too.

You have to try these different methods to find out what works for you, and is dependent on your lifestyle and how you like to live. I like to be in control when it comes to planning and the method that suits me and is functional, and moving away from Google Calendar as that no longer works for me and so will be making changes to this, because the notifications, fills up my inbox and no longer take notice.

So, it is now Sunday evening and my son wants me to turn the light off as he is in bed, but I will be extending the date of my “Summer Project 2023” which I will let you know in the next blog.

Many thanks for reading,

Being productive, happiness and wellbeing, planning for the week, reset your life, the weekend

So today I did some laundry, sort my son’s bed out and spent time planning using OneNote and going through my goals and completed another Unit on another course I am doing and so feel super productive, and I do plan a new video to do for my 2023 Reset and to inspire others to complete projects and making steps towards achieving goals.

Photo by Andrea Piacquadio on Pexels.com

I have a pile of clothes to be put away and it is late at night so don’t clear away tonight but will do so tomorrow, and Sunday I will plan my week ahead and do a reset, by tidying my room, going through my wardrobe to set up more of my clothes and what I want to wear for the week and I wear the same clothes in the week and use my wardrobe before I go into the open closet I am using and rotate my clothes. This makes sure I wear them all, and my goal for this year is not to buy anymore clothes.

I go through unfinished tasks and so will set a plan to get them done and BUILD my word for this year and follow my dreams and ambitions.

It is Sunday now a I finish this blog and sorted out my clothes for the week and spending time catching on Youtube in between and uploaded my Sunday chat video. and do a have a new Update on my No Spend January to go up and I like to use my Sunday’s wisely to help set my week up and it is so good when I get things ticked off my lists.

Doing a reset helps the mind too and manage my thoughts. I like to feel calm and contentment to be ready for a new week and plan my days and getting more things done to build and continue to grow in mind and body, and get control of my wellbeing.

I like to do my skincare to reset and wash my hair, along with having a nice dinner and work on tasks that I can’t get done in the week.

There will be more blogs to come and I hope that you spend time resetting and getting your life on track.

Many thanks for reading,

Autumn Reset Day 8: Moving back into normality

Autumn Reset, Being productive, health and wellbeing, managing your life, what needs to be done

Hello it September 2022 and it has taken a few days to get over the events of the Queens passing as it was so amazing to see so many people paying their respects and when it comes to a loss of someone it can take a while to readjust and it was such a historic event that kids will be able to tell their kids one day of the last ten days.

Photo by Artem Podrez on Pexels.com

Now it is time to get back to normality and so getting bits done and today I have really had to push myself as I am struggling with my energy levels and been gradually getting bits done but at a steady pace and that the key is “Not to stress over what I needs to be done”, and do it because you want to. It is a bad habit to fall into as when we rush we aren’t using our full potential. It can make us even more unmotivated, and make mistakes, so this morning I have been filming as filming in the mornings works better for me and I don’t always wear make up, but I want my videos to be about me and that is what it is, it’s showing parts of my life that may inspired others, but finding what works for them, using my methods of getting parts of your life sorted out.

I separate my time by doing some work in the mornings and in the evenings and it really is a system to manage what I need to do. Doing a Autumn Reset means Managing your life but for me it has to be “One area at a time”. I can’t do it for my sanity “All at once”. So for example this week I have been filming some videos that were due and wanted to get done, I have been going through my financial goals, then writing this blog post and will be working on my other blog sites and get my Autumn Reset Printable completed to post and work on this months newsletter and then work on my emails.

I have no posh system. I use my diary from TK Maxx, a notebook from the store The Works, One Note and Notion to manage my life. I use a teacher planner for my son Henry to help with managing his life to help keep track of dates and what he had for dinner, what he has been doing and just keeping track, to help him and me. It is have “A I can do it system” and now I have started to feel a live and so gonna use it to manage my life and listen to music, and “Be comfortable”.

“Summer Project 2022” Living Each day even with no sunshine

Being productive, Getting the most of your days, life coaching, Living a better life, Simple living

Living in England you never know when the sun will be out and often Weather Men and Women have got it wrong, but you can still live and often is an excuse to stay in and relax on the sofa watching the TV, but then you get bored.

Photo by Yelena Odintsova on Pexels.com

This is me, so I don’t allow the weather to stop me from living, but have a plan B. Rather than going for a walk, do an indoor workout with friends or just wear rainy day clothes and still go but choose a different route if there are waterlogged places, but buy a pair of wellies or boots you don’t care about as much but wear for when it is raining and let your kids splash in the puddles it is good for their energy rather than restricting these activities.

I am a typical English gal in that I as soon as it is sunny and hot I will put on my shorts stored away, and always bring out jacket just in case. I would go running and with sleet rain I would still go for a run, I just make sure I have water proof items, like a jacket and in the winter layer but allow my body heat as I run to keep me warm.

I will do my writing indoors but be near a window so I can still look out and watch the world go by. It can be so relaxing watching the birds and wildlife whilst I work on my blogs and books.

I still will grab a coffee even though I am cutting down the amount I spend on takeaway coffee and use the items I have indoors, and it has made a difference, but often will have one towards reaching a goal or if I have had a good productive day. I will sit in a coffee shop with a notebook and not be on my laptop all the time, or catch up on emails on my phone.

When I am with my son I will make sure all my devices are away even staying in and will play card games, watch a bit of TV together and if it is possible take him to a place that has an indoor softplay area. We have seen some shows on our local Polka Theatre and take kids to the theatre. I loved doing this as a kid and would like to be more often being an adult.

Never restrict yourself and another way of Getting the most of your life.

Being productive, being super productive, building a better wellbeing, creating more abundance in your life, creating positive habits, everyone can build a castle, implementing happy things, life coaching blog, life coaching tips, not being bogged down but getting it done, Personal Development, progject 2021, Self development, wordpress life coaching blog, wordpress life coaching site

Hello and welcome! So firstly if you have not been following my series of blogs for my programme “Project 2021” then please go to my Pinterest board which has all my recent videos and blogs, which has a lot of Life coaching tools and information. There is also new boards and sections I have created too, if you wanted to look at my other boards and pins.

So in this blog I am talking about How to not get bogged down but getting it done/Being super productive.

I firstly work with one notebook which is my main one and for me is a life saver. I did a video on one of my other sites which I write, on google and did a video about How I live in my notebook.

That is the first,

Tip 1# Find a system that makes scheduling your work simple and that can help you stick to it. I am creating a planner at the moment that I hope will help you, and will be for fello content creators.

Tip 2# If you have kids then separate your time, so when they are homeschooling give them tasks that they can do without supervision so you get work done, and spare an hour to help them and use the evenings to block time out to do your work.

Clipart woman laundry, Clipart woman laundry Transparent FREE for download on WebStockReview 2021

When I have my dinner or do my skincare of an evening I will use this time to watch a bit of TV on BBC iPlayer for example or watch a Youtube video, and it is great to just have that time and do a bit of reading a day. This is a new habit I am Implementing at the moment and it has helped me to read a bit of a book if it is only reading one or two pages. It just good to do things that help me wind down and in the morning wake me up.

Tip 3# Batch your work. So on some days I will pre-film a few videos or put together a batch of blog posts ready to go live. It can save a huge amount and then have a “Take it easier day” and have that time to catch up on reading or watching television. Or even some cooking or go for a walk if you have been cooped up within 4 walls all week.

Locked in Illustrations and Clipart. 27,813 Locked in royalty free illustrations, and drawings available to search from thousands of stock vector EPS clip art graphic designers.

The other thing I try to do is the night before go through what I have done on that day and what else that needs completed, is there any overdue items not done? What is scheduled for the next day ahead?

Tip 4# Plan ahead on some days, but don’t over plan. Try to get what you still have left from the day before and then get todays list down, and make time for breaks.

Once I have my own home again, which is going to be soon in a few days it seems, I like to potter so I will be each day even though I don’t like cleaning I like to, just go around the home putting bits away, taking anything that needs to be put in a different room that hasn’t been put in its home and just go in each room, tidying and straightening out.

Tip 5# Set time to do this each day or twice a week. I find doing this helps the chaos that life can bring be stopped and get up to date with Home Projects.

So I hope these tips are helpful and I hope you have survived lockdown too, but waiting for it shift and be able to do more fun things again out of the home again.

Many thanks for reading, ‘

Being productive, better living, Everyday living, everyone can build a castle, finding time to do the things you love, have more down time, having time for yourself, having well balanced lifestyle, life balance, Lockdown ideas, making the most of my time whilst in Lockdown, managing your work life balance, monday morning weekly post, my pinterest boards, not being bogged down with tasks, stop repetitive days, Wordpress weekly blog post

Hello, so yeah it is late in the day but I am still going to go with it, as I like to stick to my blog routine and so this post is about Making the most of my time whilst in Lockdown and one of the things I have been doing is, creating some new boards on Pinterest which I am going to share with you so see here:

  • Seasonal Living
  • Meal Ideas for those I love on Youtube
  • Make up, fashion and beauty on Youtube
  • British Legacy
  • Classic TV Shows
  • My Favourite Shows
  • Hauls Groceries, fashion and other things
  • Joke of the day

There is more that if I added them would make this blog super long, so If you would like to visit my Pinterest page then do. Here is the link:

I have updated my blog network site, where I put all my blogs and videos I do weekly, so do check this out:

https://carriesblognetwork.squarespace.com

I like to have different things to do each week and I haven’t felt restricted if I were to be truly honest. I know there will be those who will be getting fed up of trying to be busy still by cleaning which is always the bottom of my list, and feel that there is only so much cleaning you can do, without being fed up of wiping the same service each time. What I would say is to implement more down time then and don’t feel guilty about it.

Image result for free clipart images of someone relaxing watching TV

I bet now with Lockdown there are people etching to be back in a more work based environment as with kids being home too, can be tricky and you can begin to lose the plot a bit.

I would and going to implement it when I am back with my son fully again, is have a timetable still but with fun and flexible activities and so here is a blog post I wrote about, Home Classes you can do with your kids: https://theparentingadventurestipsandtricks.wordpress.com/2021/02/13/good-home-learning-classes-for-your-kids/

Still block schedule which I have spoken a lot about and it is blocking time through your day to do various different activities, so like for me between say 10 to 12noon, Go through blogs and videos schedule, afternoon: Lunch, Catch up on Youtube, take a break and then evening work on book, plan for the next day and take a shower.

my-block-scheduleDownload

It is important to make time for your kids but have a time where you can easily do things you need to get done without your kids crying for some attention.

I make sure I have a cut of time of when I get up and when I finish my work for the day so I still got balance and don’t get repetitive days and make time for the things I enjoy more than the things I don’t.

Lockdown, doesn’t have to mean the end of freedom or your life but implenting things that can still bring you happiness in the day and not feel worn down by do much juggling and balancing of things to do.

So looks like this could all shift by Easter and I am so in need for a McDonalds, a music festival, a football match and a browse around the shops I Love.

Many thanks for reading,

Carrie L.M X
