My life changes for this year is to get back into my fitness regime as I had been neglecting and I know I need to get back on track for my health, as I was diagnosed this year 2018 as having Type 2 Diabetes.

My life changes include financial changes to, and going to a NO BUY days, and see if I can do a NO BUY year for 2019 and save up to £500.

Pay off any debts, and allow myself a realistic weekly budget.

Its important for me to make life changes to start a fresh each year and season. It helps me to grow and develop myself and I know I will feel better once I have seen my financial status grow.

I also want to keep and creating new changes to my blogs and have created a Printables page on my website Carrierealworld.com, which completely free to use. I will be adding new printables each month so keep a watch out for those.

Life changes should be given different categories, Personal, financial, health and wellbeing, family and spiritual for example. You can create your own categories, but separating them out really helps me to remain focused and keep to those changes.

Building Self Confidence

Mirror mirror on the wall who is the greatest of them all.

When we look in the mirror what do you see, what do we think of ourselves and what would we change.

I hear you answer everything, I hate myself, I hate my boobs, my hair, my body, it is ugly and not what I imagine myself looking.

I can relate to this so much as I would in the passed go through those thoughts and feelings when I looked at myself in the mirror. I did develop and eating disorder, and it did bring me down to the point I felt sometimes perhaps I am better of not being in this world at all.

However you can get over these feelings, like I have by learning and saying to yourself “No more I am not going to allow these feelings of hatred towards myself anymore”

I got to the point where I was sick of feeling low and disliking myself that I decided “Right I am going to do something about this” and I have. No one in this world is perfect but everyone has strengths and everyone has weaknesses and it is how you take on challenges in your life that can make a difference. It is OK not to know everything or have everything in life, as I like not knowing sometimes, it is the unknown that can excite us and make us surprised that once we entered the unknown we can find surprises and things we have always wanted. The not having everything you want can help make you stronger by aiming towards these things, but it will take commitment, but think about the goals you want in life and go for them.

When I got married for example I hadn’t really had many serious relationships, so even though we had been together for 4 years before we wedded I had no idea really of what I was getting myself into, and I bet my husband had know idea too. I remember him continuously saying before we got married “It won’t change anything really as we already spend a lot of time together anyway” I am not sure if he was meaning this or trying to tell himself, but no one knows what being married to someone is like until they actually get married. My husband even admits that even though you think marriage won’t change a relationship it does.

So when getting married it was entering the unknown but now I am on the other side, it has been a rollercoaster at times, but we are still together and that has lead to amazing surprises, that I have the gift of love, I enjoy giving love to someone I can have a laugh with and be friends with aswell as being married to the person I had chosen, and now we have the best gift of all, a child.

This has helped me with my confidence, along with writing and exercise. I remember doing that first run, I felt like my throat was going to fall out, and my legs were gone give way, it was extremely hard, but with time and commitment I now run as if I have run all my life.

So with building confidence comes commitment, learning, making those lifestyle changes that can lead you to the unknown but will surprise and help bring you better confidence.

You will be surprised at what you can achieve when you put your heart and mind into it.

So I will support you all the way and lets get cracking.

How to make Better Decisions

Check out this Article on Realbuzz, about How to Make Better Decisions.

https://www.realbuzz.com/articles-interests/health/article/how-to-make-better-decisions/

Life is about making decisions, sometimes we choose the wrong path, and realised that it was a bad decisions, but life is about learning, and as you get older the decisions as long as you ask the right questions can become a lot easier to make.

Doing Things Differently

As we begin to get older our thoughts and beliefs can change, it can be due to changes that had occurred along the way. For example when we are teenagers we become more aware of our surroundings and our thoughts and fears.

Being in a accident, or someone close to you died suddenly. That’s what happened to me when I was working at a holiday resort and one of our friends one morning hadn’t turned up for work, which was very unlike him, he was always there. We had gone for a drink with him the night before, and next morning he was dead. He died of adult cot death.

It totally changed my outlook on life and made me see how quickly how life can be whisked away from you, and it made me make changes in my life, because I knew if I didn’t I would still be stuck in a rut, and I needed to get out of that.

It made me see that sometimes you can’t always choose the path you want to go, as Nigel our friend who sadly died, just one morning went to sleep and didn’t wake up.

Working for the holiday camp had changed my life too, it made me become more independent and I had to defend for myself, and it made me learn to stand on my own two feet. It could be tough and times, and when I first got there I wanted to come home, but once I found my feet I managed to start a new life for myself and I met my now husband.

It made me understand that change is often good and learning from my husband has made me see things differently too, like for example focusing on one thing at a time, instead of trying to do two things at once.

When unexpected events happen it can make you see how much time we take for granted, and it is important as I have learned as I have gotten older to accept the different things that happen in my life, and it just means you have to take a different path.

I know when there is a new chapter to begin a I can feel inside my body and mind. I start to feel like I am stuck in a rut again, and we all need change in our lives, that’s what makes our world go round. I believe now that if something is not working, time for change and a new chapter.

So seeing things differently is okay because life is about learning and understanding ourselves as well as others.
