Life can take a turn where it is full of bad luck, then good luck. How do you deal with bad luck? Allow it to come through and it will pass. Life is full of chapters, and my life has begun a new chapter. I am now working on radio for Epsom Hospital, today I met some of the other volunteers and was really great to meet them, and shared their stories of those who are also doing shows for the radio station.

It has been a dream since a kid and its amazing how it has come true. It means I am starting a new chapter forming more relationships which is important to me and my son went to his first trip, checking out this daily blog I wrote: https://mydailythougthsandfeelings.blogspot.com/2024/05/my-son-first-trip-away.html
There was a while where I took a different path and my life turned upset down. I have now gone through this and realised a lot about me, how strong I am and come resilient to bad luck and that parts of life need to end for a new Chapter to begin, and whenever I have had a bump in the road I have come through stronger than ever.
I’m eating a chocolate cookie, which I don’t eat often, but my eating habits have changed. I have been working on my walking and fitness, by walking once a week to my sons school when he does his afterschool club, trying different meals. We tried a Chicken White Wine Sauce from ASDA and was really nice and started to do cook again.
Life has different chapters through it and some people, like I do, find change hard. It can be tough but for new things to happen, we have to let go of things in your life, for you to continue. This doesn’t mean a break up but a change of plan, if something is not working anymore. It could be sleep, money, an injury so you have had to stop the exercise you were doing, or had a terrible illness and it is cleared.
It can be hard to accept that you’ve changed the path to your life, and had to take another route, but change can be good as it stops us from being bored and feeling unhappy about life, and stops it from coming to a standstill.
I moved to the South Coast of England for a while and felt so good to have done that, because working for a holiday camp was something I wanted to do since a kid too, along with working radio and never became a red coat but it still helped me to build a life of my own, which back at London, I felt my friends lives were growing and mine wasn’t. So going away for a while to complete another goal, it helped stop the feelings that my life was going nowhere.
So I hope this new chapter in my life continues to form and please subscribe if you’d like to be alerted when I put up another post.
Many thanks for reading,
Carrie X
