I like reading everyday. It helps wake me up at the beginning of the day and at night for relaxation and love it. I like journaling everyday and working out with my weights and other fitness tools and helps give me energy and at the weekends having a alcoholic drink and just have one.
So if you like how your life is then fine. It is all about how you feel within you and your current lifestyle. I like to scroll on my phone in the mornings but only for a short time and not in bed. Its only if something is not working and its getting on your nerves and want to change. Your free to do what you want to do Do Your Own Thing
These cheat sheets are free to download and print and post them at the beginning of each week and I hope you find them useful.
Originally when I wrote this down it was about Body Image, but I now realise it is not just about that. It is all to do with how you treat yourself. This is not treating yourself with a box of chocolates, I mean being verbally kind to yourself and in your mind.
I am in a good place now. I have changed my thoughts of myself and my life in general. There are times in the mornings where I see my hair is all messy, I see unwanted hair growth but also, my room or home is chaotic and have no sense of, Is this it. Is this what my life looks like?
I have just come back from Wimbledon with my mum and step dad and I have case full of clothes, bag full of my notebooks and journals and I have believe it or not I did a declutter. So I am working on it. I will spend time tidying, unpacking and know I can get it back into shipshape.
This is free to download. It is reprogramming your thought patterns. I now make sure I read each day, because it slows me down and feel calm in the mornings now. I will have breakfast and go for morning walk. I do a bit of writing each day. These have really helped with stress and anxiety.
What one thing do you want to change in the mornings?
Write down in the printable or notebook of What is the first thing you in the morning. It used to be, for me get up, watch Youtube and before getting my son ready for school and it became a habit that would not help my day, because I would be lazy. It should have been to get my son ready for school. My son was close by, but had to get my priorities right and me and my husband would argue, because of it and if it were the other way around, I wouldn’t have been happy.
There was a time where I would come home angry. I was working in a Call Center, where people would call in, not happy, because I worked as a technical advisor/call agent and would go home and would bring what happened each day, home.
So are you have a lot of arguments?
Is a job, sleep or a relationship?
Is the food that you eat?
It is making sense of it all and creating a picture of yourself and your life and what do you want out of life?
Who do you spend time with?
I make sure that my son is okay and say good morning to him, have breakfast together, read and make sure my bed and his, is made and that my life is functional and do the things in my life that will help me grow and everyone in my life grow. Checking in on them and make the effort to have a good day, facing challenges but not making them stop me, from living.
Not having too many commitments, but that I have some social interaction and my son does too. I like to have a day off from everything and last Tuesday had a proper lazy day. I still worked on some content but stayed in and it felt so good.
I wish you all the happiness in the world. Life can be joyous and the image of it. Feel good about yourself. I write another google blog site, called Building Self Confidence – The Ugly Duckling: https://buildingselfconfidencetud.blogspot.com/

When we feel low it often feels like we are falling down a hole and that there is nothing to enjoy and feel like hiding away. Start by going through your home that gives you comfort. For me right now I love sitting in front of my desk, listening to a video and writing this blog. I love sharing and helping you, and since I began this blog so much of my life has changed.
I am not going to force you to be thankful, because I have no knowledge of your life, but give tips, and so when I began to change my life, was when I had put on loads of weight and took up running. It was tough and I could have easily given up. I kept going, and went running along he seafront early in the morning so noone would see me, and with each run, my feelings towards my life, got better.
Now I enjoy walking, and I discovered my love from walking through running and so began to be thankful I had legs that can run or walk. You may be different, but finding a skill you didn’t know you had, can change that, and will help you to be thankful and there is a reason you are still here, and developing new relationships and visiting new places.
Moving away from home and following dreams to work in a holiday camp, I started to question my decision on deciding to do this, and was home sick for the first 3 weeks, but as I kept on getting used to living and working there, I began to enjoy being away and was grateful for this experience and met my husband and for while I was happy, this was before I began to feel low that I wrote about at the beginning of this blog.
There will always be bumps in the road in our life, but you can change it to be able to practice gratitude and has to begin right now, because if you are unhappy, with your life currently, it is time to make changes and enjoy life, to then be grateful.
When I became a parent I felt overwhelmed, and love my son, but felt like I had no idea of what to do, and kept feeling I was doing something wrong,, but watching him grow and becoming his own person, it has made me thankful that I am his mum and he is, my child and never thought I’d feel love like it. When he comes to have cuddles, it destroys my negative thoughts, as a parent and thankful for being able to grow this human being that I helped to create. I love at the moment playing football, with him and with his balloon. The other day we created a game with his balloon and so grateful for being able to play and create games to have fun and play.
I had really bad mental health illness, psychosis and it took me a lot to get back on my feet and recover, but with the help of my parents and mental health teams in Surrey and Merton, I am now recovered and can stand on my own two feet again, and thankful to my family and to my keyworkers, and the hospitals I stayed in, that helped me in this dark time I experienced.
So, as you build your life you will, hand on heart, start to see your life differently and who are thankful for you too.
This blog hits on imposter syndrome where we feel we don’t deserve to be successful because we doubt what we are capable of and any failure feels such a big deal and feel that there are loads of people doing what you want to do already, and think “Who do you think you are?” “You can’t compete” and what chance you have in becoming successful too. Like music as I start this blog I am watching Eurovision Song contest, and really anyone can win it, but there are some many countries taking part and I bet some have thought they don’t stand a chance. This is from watching interviews of Bucks Fizz because watching many interviews they have all said that they didn’t think they’d win it, but they did.
This was when my mum and I did the Thames Path challenge completing 25KM and never thought I’d do that but I did.
When I first began to learn Ballroom dancing there was a girl called Claire and one other girl who were on their Gold, as when I first started I did my Bronze, then you did your Silver and Claire when I went to my first dancing presentation night, won the Cup for having the highest marks. I remember getting goosebumps and my heart pounding thinking could it be me, but I had only first started, then a girl name Lesley had won by one of the adults who had won before wanted the next person to win it and was Lesley who passed her exam, her Silver with flying colours and did hope it would be me one day, but didn’t think I’d ever win it.
Often we can feel that we are punching above our weight and “Who would want to be interested in us?” and when we hear someone say something negative about us that can contribute to your feelings of not good enough. When I played football at my Secondary school I remember a girl saying I couldn’t even kick a ball and so I stop going. Yes should have taken no notice and carried on but didn’t, but learning from that I have become resilient to criticism and it makes me more determined to succeed and when running a football team I could see that many of my players confidence would be affected when playing in matches, because they make mistakes but this also showed me how much they really cared, and not being biased they were good and we did win many of the matches they played.
We all can a level of doubt its a human feeling but for me I see this now that it prepare’s me of what if it goes wrong and then visualise me succeeding too, and the question I ask myself reading many books by Paul McKenna is,”What if I was unstoppable and visualise that” and it has helped, and listening to Mel Robbins, who wrote about the 5 second rule, who asks the same thing. What do you picture? looking at this person how is she standing? is she smiling? what is she wearing?
Create a plan. I always brainstorm, I will write a list of each project and goals I want to achieve and this really helps me a lot.
When we put our mind to it we can achieve so much. It is perseverance which is a word I have used a lot but it is and any setbacks address them and learn from them. We all meet bumps in the road, but it is our actions that speak louder than words and make a difference.
Si what are you going to do today that can make a difference to your life right now?
I wanted to take my son to a music concert and I did yesterday, I wanted to take Henry to his first football match and we did on his first birthday, like my mum and dad did when me and my brother were kids, and is like a tradition and wanted to win the cup for the highest marks in dancing and I did. I wanted to do the Great North run and did, this helped boost my confidence to continue to charity runs and walks and inspired others because it helped my fitness my feelings with life and people when doing these events are so friendly and are complete strangers and they showed me what I was capable of. Set goals, continue doing positive habits and keep visualising and keep taking action.
