Hello it is Monday once more and time for a new free printable of tips on Getting your life together that you may find useful and simple but effective.
Here is my first Video for this training and talk about Self Neglect. Not getting dressed, not brushing your teeth and it is not saying that your doing anything wrong, I am writing about myself when I would become depressed, I didn’t do those things, knowing that if I did I would feel better and so I had to get out of bed and live.
Life is full of a challenges and I have learned to take in the feelings, then think what can I do that will help me through those thoughts and listen to the positive side of the brain. Life is full of influences, like when we watch the news and hear of another stabbing and it has made me more determined to not allow it stop me from embracing my city, which is London and thinking of he good things. There is always going to be good and bad, but having a good breakfast, reading and listening to podcast can help me not to be affected but enjoy life as you don’t know when its going to end, and so I watch things that bring me joy not sadness and why I started fundraising for good causes.
I share my challenges I faced and not being happy about myself and my life. I felt like my life was boring when actually that is not true. I had a good childhood I just struggled because of not feeling good enough at school. Now see that I had a good holidays and did dancing. I had proper grandparents, relatives and friendships that have lasted so long.
I began to make Life Changes, getting fit and active and not dwelling on things that have gone wrong, but what I learned from those mistakes and not allow anxiety to control my life.

Start of new week.. It has been a productive day but taking my time. I like doing one minute tasks so this morning I cleared a windowsill, put my hat away and disowned to planners that were going to use but no longer wanted and were worn and so disposed off and be recycled.

I am someone who has battled through life dealing with insecurities, not feeling good enough. I would be so critical of myself and so I had to make changes, especially as I grew into adulthood. I thought that by then would feel better about myself but no and they grew even bigger. I feel better once I finished school, which for a while it did. I liked working. Yet had some not so nice jobs and was fired by some of them an lost my confidence.
I have become fed up of allowing those time to bully me. I knew to move forward in my life I had to feel better about myself and my life.
Then I hit rock bottom when I thought that there was someone being hurt, but there was other things going on too. I was finding motherhood hard, felt isolated and had this inner fear that I had never felt before. I went to hospital and found that I was hearing voices and diagnosed with Psychosis and got home help. I began to feel like I had no energy to do anything. It was like being on a wheel that I couldn’t get off from. I spent time in a mental health hospital and recovered and wanted to help others with their mental health and wellbeing. It can feel you are in a dark place with no light.
I want you to love who you are and not be so unkind or resentful of yourself and start living and living beyond your needs. Life doesn’t have to be a battle, but be the best it could ever be, by making changes in the different areas and changing your mindset.

It is a new week and today my Self Development training begins. I will be filming for my Educational Youtube Channel and I am really looking forward to it and hope it will help follow your dreams and have a life you love.
For me Self Development is simple. Change what you are not happy with. Go through the passed but in a way where your not dwelling but learning. Learning what you have done that turned out to be the best thing you have ever did, so far in your life and what didn’t work out. What is holding you back.
It can be that you failed your driving test. So the first thing is to reflect what happened. Was you driving too fast, you stopped when you shouldn’t have or your nerves distracted you. I made a mistake yesterday where I was playing a song on my radio show and accidentally turned it off but it was okay as I rectified it, reflected well I know that I was rushing and needed to take my time, but the rest of the show went according to plan. Your going to slip up, that’s life. The worst thing to do is allowing it to dominate. Not moving on.

I will be posting three videos for this training each week and can use it not just for February but throughout your life.

What did you change? I started taking my vitamins and other supplements again. They help me with my energy. I find during the winter I have a lack of energy. In the mornings, I struggle at the start of the day, but by taking supplements I’ve seen a big transition. I am completing tasks. I finished a first draft of a book series I am writing. I have been walking a lot. I am sleeping really well and reading more and discovered new loves.
I’ve started take Magnesium and Zinc. I recommend them, but always ask your GP before taking them, if you are not sure. It has really made a difference. Not sponsored, but I was experiencing a lack of energy and kept getting twitching of the eye. I spoke with my doctor, and she recommended it to me. It has been a massive change.
They were from Holland and Barrett.
I have taken on new challenges. I started Parkrun. I try to walk each day, even if it’s indoors, because I am lucky to have a treadmill. There are walking exercises. Check out Youtube. Today, I did some weights. I am really focusing on looking after myself. This helps me look after my son. I can do jobs around the house. I can go for walks without feeling that my eyes are on the floor. This is changing my lifestyle, my word for 2025. This has helped me see the new year in a different light. I no longer get upset and can look back and think, “I did good” and you can feel that too.
So thank you and next month I am doing some Self Development training. I will doing videos and blogs and begins on the 3rd February to the 28th February 2025. I have been studying mental health and counseling. This has helped me in developing my skills in helping others. It’s important to help others feel better about themselves and their life. Once you learn, you can help others too.
I have signed up to do Race for life this year. My goal is to help raise money for Cancer Research. The event will take place on the 22nd June 2025 up at Epsom Downs.

Last week, my son wasn’t well. I didn’t get a chance to do one then. So, here is a new one. I really enjoy creating these and this one Ten Ways to declutter.

This is going to be my second to last blog for this Winter Wellness Programme. I hope you like the blogs written. I also hope you found them useful. They are designed to support you if you dread winter. They aim to help you feel better about that time of the year.

We can lack a lot of energy during the winter days. I struggle to get up when it is still dark. So, I now give myself some time to wake up by reading. This has been a game changer in the mornings and this due to reading before I sleep.
So have a good routine at night so it helps your body know that sleep time is coming. As soon as dinner is finished, I will get ready for the evening. I will change my clothes and have a bath. I’ll spend time with my son, watch TV in bed, and finish off with my book.
I make sure I am hydrated and love a morning winter walk. If there is extreme weather, I will workout indoors. But if it is just grizzly, I will wrap up and get outdoors. Of course, if you find it tricky to get outdoors, then there are workouts you can do sitting down. It is also a great time to volunteer at a homeless shelter. Find a place you can get to and get out.
Walking for 10 minutes is still exercise. Often, I will do that on the treadmill. Sometimes, I do 10 minutes of weights. I also look on YouTube for a good workout. Or cooking a nice hot meal. I love winter food and meals and so great time to learn to make different meals. I have a folder where I keep printed recipes. A friend of mine bought me a recipe planner. My stepdad prints off recipes and keeps them in a folder. You can win over your kids, partner, or friend by making delicious meals. My Nan would make lovely dinners. Her Macaroni and Cheese was the best in the world. She was one person who inspired me to cook.
A great way to help your kids not be fussy about food is by getting them involved. I love a good lunch. Today I had a crusty roll with cheese and apple. Yesterday for dinner we had pie with vegetables and mashed potato. Just homely cooked dinners in winter that help me make me feel better about the season.

Hello! Belated Happy New Year heading towards February. I post a newsletter every month. It is free to download and print. I had a good Christmas and New Year. It was so relaxing and stress free. I didn’t cook the dinner my husband did and it was very nice.
My son and I did our Christmas Day Walk and was like always so peaceful.

Hello and welcome! Here is my weekly Cheat Sheet that I post every Monday and is free to download and keep. At the beginning of the year I like to set goals and make life changes. The one life change that I have kept since last year was to read a lot more. I read in the morning and in the evening. I brush my teeth first thing in the morning. This year, in 2025, I have begun putting myself more together. I started styling my hair and wearing more makeup. It was a choice to keep or dispose. I decided I wanted to keep my makeup and use it.
I set my goals for the year yearly seasonally too, 2 years ahead and 5 years. Do what works for you. Why not put these cheat sheets somewhere you will easy see them.
I want to send my love to those in LA dealing with the wildfires. It is life destroying. It is heartbreaking to see.
