Hello and welcome! It is a new week and time for a new Cheat Sheet. This one is on decluttering. Inspired by Weekend of doing just that. Did this on Saturday and Sunday and it feels such a weight on my shoulders. It good to go through and make changes to have a spring clean and disown what we no longer need in our lives.

I love to use a journal for different purposes and having a blank or journal for me to do that. The first thing I like to do is think about each day. I set goals and decide what I want to focus on. I am designing a journal at the moment. I am using it to junk journal. I also use it to store photos and special memories. I have designed one for my son. I have been meaning to print off photos and write down what we did. He can keep it forever. Journaling helps me think about the good times I have had, not just about the bad days.
I love to journal and try to do it each day. Even just a paragraph can be enough. Sometimes I list things I want to do and places I’d like to go. This includes where my son would like to do and have one for my fitness too. Some want to stick to one. There are no real rules just write what’s in your head.
Anything you’re excited about or things you are looking forward to. Some may want to put in a vision board or mood board. Jamie Oliver does a journal about his garden and did a show about it. There are so many things you can put down and keep track of where you are in life.
There is bullet journaling and some make handmade journals. Its just about how is it going to serve you.
I like to see a blank page and write what is in my heart and mind.
I have always kept a diary/journal since a kid and not kept them all as it helps me to forget about the things that were in my mind in the passed, what I didn’t want to hold on to. I journal to make sense of things that I am finding hard to consume and things I have learned from books, TV and online training videos. If you had a mirror where you would picture your life what would you see? What would it say to you or show?
Would it make you feel happy or sad? There was a time I hated my own reflection. I wouldn’t try on clothes in a fitting room. When I was at school we didn’t have cubicles but one big changing room and would feel so uncomfortable. The same at Primary school and would get remarks from my fellow pupils. I hated having boobs. I was not ready for teenage hood. Mother nature decided it was time for me to form early and I didn’t like it.
Now I am comfortable in looking the mirror and see someone who has lived and got plenty to give. It has taken a lot to see myself in a positive light and my life too. I loved going to dancing school as a kid. Now, I like that I can share my life. I found growing up daunting, because the way you looked mattered. I didn’t want to be trendy. I wanted to be happy with what I saw. So I began to get fit and take on challenges like running and walking events. This made me see, what I was capable of and feel proud of myself.
What challenges would you undertake? What changes would you do, to feel good when looking in the mirror and be proud of yourself and write down how you feel.
I was fed up with giving myself such a hard time. I had to change my mindset. Being healthy is what I need, not a hourglass figure. All bodies are beautiful. I remember going to rugby. There was a guy who I didn’t like the look of. When I learned he had a heart of gold, I realized I was being unkind. Since he was nice and was a good laugh, that was important. So, I worked on my own stereotypical mind.
We have kept in touch via social media. I have not heard from him for a while. Yet, it also taught me that men and women can be friends without it ending in romance. I have male and female friends and I love my friends and my family. They have been my teachers of life and am grateful of those I have met and still in contact with.
Being a good friend, mother, sister, daughter, and aunt is important. I love watching my nieces and my son grow. My son got an award at school. We went to a Christmas Event at his school last year. We also went to see an art exhibition he did at school. This year, he will be going to his third Residential trip.
I am enjoying my life with my son, friends, and family. This is something I would like to see in a mirror. I have got back into walking and joined Parkrun. I am registered to do Race For Life. I am working on radio now and have fully recovered from my Mental Health Battle. I am writing more books and blogs and expanding my Youtube channels. I enjoying meeting people and about other peoples lives and what they have gone through.
So now spend some time considering this question. What would you see if you were able to see your life in the mirror?
What does the future look like? Who is in this image and what do you look like? Are they your dreams or goals?
There is more I want out of my life. Keep your goals to yourself. As Terri Savelle Foy says, what you do behind the scenes has a bigger impact. You don’t have to tell the world just yet. Just follow your heart and mind to help your self-belief. Once you reached a goal, then tell the world. My husband didn’t tell anyone when he did his driving test. He failed the first one, so he retook it without saying anything and passed.
Set a plan and give yourself a target of when you want to achieve. Do you see that in the mirror? Does the reflection you see of yourself changed? What area are you going to look at first?
Take some time to answer. Put your list of goals with targets somewhere visible. Make sure you go through of what you see. I have started to put collages on Pinterest. I learned how by watching a video by Rachellea https://www.youtube.com/@rachelleea. Now, I am obsessed with it.
I set goals in my journal and plan away.
Review the goals you have already achieved. Consider the ones you want to set into play next. Yes, there will be hurdles. When you see the results, you’ll see that they are part of the plan. You can build a different, happy, and successful life and then talk about it and keep setting them.
What is the first steps are you going to set. When I started running and entered to doing the Great north run I didn’t just take on the 13.1 miles, I worked up to it by doing different runs and started of by walking and building up to run and now I am trying to get back to it by doing Parkrun and looking forward to doing the Race For life in June.
Hello it is Monday once more and time for a new free printable of tips on Getting your life together that you may find useful and simple but effective.
It is a new week and today my Self Development training begins. I will be filming for my Educational Youtube Channel and I am really looking forward to it and hope it will help follow your dreams and have a life you love.
For me Self Development is simple. Change what you are not happy with. Go through the passed but in a way where your not dwelling but learning. Learning what you have done that turned out to be the best thing you have ever did, so far in your life and what didn’t work out. What is holding you back.
It can be that you failed your driving test. So the first thing is to reflect what happened. Was you driving too fast, you stopped when you shouldn’t have or your nerves distracted you. I made a mistake yesterday where I was playing a song on my radio show and accidentally turned it off but it was okay as I rectified it, reflected well I know that I was rushing and needed to take my time, but the rest of the show went according to plan. Your going to slip up, that’s life. The worst thing to do is allowing it to dominate. Not moving on.

I will be posting three videos for this training each week and can use it not just for February but throughout your life.

What did you change? I started taking my vitamins and other supplements again. They help me with my energy. I find during the winter I have a lack of energy. In the mornings, I struggle at the start of the day, but by taking supplements I’ve seen a big transition. I am completing tasks. I finished a first draft of a book series I am writing. I have been walking a lot. I am sleeping really well and reading more and discovered new loves.
I’ve started take Magnesium and Zinc. I recommend them, but always ask your GP before taking them, if you are not sure. It has really made a difference. Not sponsored, but I was experiencing a lack of energy and kept getting twitching of the eye. I spoke with my doctor, and she recommended it to me. It has been a massive change.
They were from Holland and Barrett.
I have taken on new challenges. I started Parkrun. I try to walk each day, even if it’s indoors, because I am lucky to have a treadmill. There are walking exercises. Check out Youtube. Today, I did some weights. I am really focusing on looking after myself. This helps me look after my son. I can do jobs around the house. I can go for walks without feeling that my eyes are on the floor. This is changing my lifestyle, my word for 2025. This has helped me see the new year in a different light. I no longer get upset and can look back and think, “I did good” and you can feel that too.
So thank you and next month I am doing some Self Development training. I will doing videos and blogs and begins on the 3rd February to the 28th February 2025. I have been studying mental health and counseling. This has helped me in developing my skills in helping others. It’s important to help others feel better about themselves and their life. Once you learn, you can help others too.
I have signed up to do Race for life this year. My goal is to help raise money for Cancer Research. The event will take place on the 22nd June 2025 up at Epsom Downs.

This is going to be my second to last blog for this Winter Wellness Programme. I hope you like the blogs written. I also hope you found them useful. They are designed to support you if you dread winter. They aim to help you feel better about that time of the year.

We can lack a lot of energy during the winter days. I struggle to get up when it is still dark. So, I now give myself some time to wake up by reading. This has been a game changer in the mornings and this due to reading before I sleep.
So have a good routine at night so it helps your body know that sleep time is coming. As soon as dinner is finished, I will get ready for the evening. I will change my clothes and have a bath. I’ll spend time with my son, watch TV in bed, and finish off with my book.
I make sure I am hydrated and love a morning winter walk. If there is extreme weather, I will workout indoors. But if it is just grizzly, I will wrap up and get outdoors. Of course, if you find it tricky to get outdoors, then there are workouts you can do sitting down. It is also a great time to volunteer at a homeless shelter. Find a place you can get to and get out.
Walking for 10 minutes is still exercise. Often, I will do that on the treadmill. Sometimes, I do 10 minutes of weights. I also look on YouTube for a good workout. Or cooking a nice hot meal. I love winter food and meals and so great time to learn to make different meals. I have a folder where I keep printed recipes. A friend of mine bought me a recipe planner. My stepdad prints off recipes and keeps them in a folder. You can win over your kids, partner, or friend by making delicious meals. My Nan would make lovely dinners. Her Macaroni and Cheese was the best in the world. She was one person who inspired me to cook.
A great way to help your kids not be fussy about food is by getting them involved. I love a good lunch. Today I had a crusty roll with cheese and apple. Yesterday for dinner we had pie with vegetables and mashed potato. Just homely cooked dinners in winter that help me make me feel better about the season.

Hello! Belated Happy New Year heading towards February. I post a newsletter every month. It is free to download and print. I had a good Christmas and New Year. It was so relaxing and stress free. I didn’t cook the dinner my husband did and it was very nice.
My son and I did our Christmas Day Walk and was like always so peaceful.
