Life wouldn’t be life if we didn’t have a bad day and not saying that I want things to go wrong but like yesterday going up stairs my sons tipping point machine fell on the floor, so all the tokens from it fell all over the floor. Yet I didn’t dwell on it as with the help of my son we put he tipping point toy together and picked up the tokens then as planned I went to bed, and no one got hurt so didn’t give myself a hard time over it, like have done so in the passed.

It is so good to take time out from the outdoor world, but then change of scenery is also good so not being cooped up can help you feel good about each day and listen to your mind and body to enjoy the days whilst alive as life can go so quickly.
I like to do different things each day and have plenty to do.
There will always be unplanned events like if you have children, have picked up a bug, the trains being delayed and caught up in Traffic, making you late. This can cause stress, so to avoid this plan ahead and have a back up plan, something I learned from being a manager of a football team, because of the weather which we have no control over but can help us be prepared like having an umbrella and going through different routes to find which will be best, to avoid the bad weather.
If you haven’t slept well and everything is irritating you.
Plan a ritual like reading book, practice mindfulness and going for a walk always helps me and take a nap in the day if you can, or just plan for bedtime to have a good nights sleep and make sure your body is properly relaxed. As soon as I put my head on my pillow ideas of blogs and videos start and that happened last night so brain dumped and have something you can jot down to clear your thoughts and have a proper restful mind and not being on my laptop too late in the evening has made a difference too.
Do a evening checklist.
Before I got to bed I check the back door is locked and the front door, everything is turned off and switch my phone on silent and volume down so the only thing that will sound is my alarm.
I also do a check list when leaving the home. I make sure that nothing is on that shouldn’t be and check my emails daily in case my sons school have sent something to me, for my son and appointments, and that I empty my inboxes daily. Then check my phone as I get alerts on there too from my sons school and health check ups and I make sure I remember appointments made, as last week I nearly forgot about a school we (my mum and I) checking out as we got to start looking for a secondary school for my son and that I had a telephone appointment, so doing a daily check in the evenings helps to clear my mind, so my mind isn’t stirring and can properly switch off and helps reduce bad days and take more time for myself so I wake up refreshed and not more tired in the mornings, and tired enough in the evening to get a good sleep and reduce my anxiety and anxiousness that I can feel each day, when I do have a good nights sleep.
Things will go wrong in life and it is part of living. It’s all about how to handle it, should we dwell on it or take into our stride for it to go right and that is part of the living process.
So try not to beat yourself up when things don’t go to plan and if you need time to readjust then take that time.
