Hello! It is a new month and week. How fast is this year going? Means making more spring like food. Like Salads and have lunch or breakfast in the garden and working out in the garden with a good meal. This can ease the Mind and the Body. So in this Cheat Sheet it is giving tips in Meal Planning.
I love doing these sheets. The idea came when I worked in Call Centers and they would have cheat sheets and so I hope you like them too and are free to download and print but would like to ask if you do like this blog site to please subscribe to help the site grow..
I also have other blog sites, film Vlogs and written books. Check out my Pinterest, X and Facebook and my Youtube Vlog Channel:
Hello and welcome! It is a new week. It is almost the end of February and remember it is Mothers Day soon. I am not sure if my son will care. He unaware of it, but that is fine I will be back doing my Radio show. Check out Epsom Hospital Radio. Look under Carrie Challoner and do show on Sunday’s.
So in my home I like Simple Systems and is the Theme of this weeks Cheat sheet.
I also share my life in Vlogs if you’d like to check it out and is free to watch and showing more of what I get up to in my life as a mum, writer and producing weekly content: https://www.youtube.com/@typicallondongal
If you have plans but you are not sure where to start I’d recommend doing a Mind Map. I do this a lot. It helps with overwhelm and lay out what you want to focus on and building by creating steps to allow it to grow and build whatever that is that you want to see “GROW” my word for this year (2026) and so I have created a printable for you use and I hope you find it helpful.
This is free to download and print and will be creating more. You can find my printables on my Resource Library and on my Pinterest which has all my blogs and printables, such as my Weekly Cheat Sheets and Monthly Newsletter, as I have many and I create each week and printables for my yearly programmes.
I’d recommend for you to subscribe on here and on my Pinterest to be notified of when I post and I post each week.
I love to spread my blogs, books and videos. You can share them too. I have a Vlog channel and share more of my life and would be great for you to subscribe there too.
Its a bit like doing a family tree. So you can do from yourself. So Carrie, I write blogs, Books and youtube. I want to publish another book, I am a mum, and need to get Henry ready and settled in his new school, I want to grow my blogs and do some new training on my Educational Youtube channel.
So I hope you enjoy this tool and there will be more coming.
I have found that we are always consuming, we scroll on Pinterest and look at Instagram and shop. With Social media it can take over our day and when we watch a haul we instantly want to go out shopping and buy items from TikTok but we then see we didn’t need those items. We can compare ourselves and our lives and I am not being a hypocrite as I do use it, but I am careful what I watch and what I put out there into the world.
I am now vigilant it what I am feeding my brain with, because we can be easy be influenced and I am guilty of that.
Also are we listening to gossip? I remember working in a call centre and there would be people talking unkindly about other staff, celebrities, reading magazines and it could really make us feel uncomfortable and I was told I was no good at my job so decided to just not listen to it. As long as I believed in myself that was all that mattered.
I was there to work and didn’t always socialise, because I didn’t want to be surrounded by people who were going to talk about you the next day.
“what you put out there in the world is what you will receive”.
It is also bad news. I do watch the news but not all the time as I find it depressing and don’t watch anything too gory, but like a drama and I don’t watch soaps because I can be quite disturbed by them and rather watch a concert, Days in a life Video, writing tips and love being part of the writing community by watching those who have self published, getting tips and ideas, life coaching or a good podcast.
Also what we read. I am reading a book about the punk rock era and of a guy trying to make it and forming a band based up North, Liverpool and the music scene around that time. I find certain songs really can affect my feelings. Not because they are bad but because the song reminds me of a tragic time, like Never Walk Alone, I remember the Hillsborough Disaster and I just find it so heart wrenching because of the words and so I play certain songs that helps with my feelings unless it is for a book I am writing.
The diet culture. I have had an eating disorder, had really bad anxiety and body dysmorphia as I hated myself a lot as a child and teenager, because of the way I looked and I would be really upset. I avoided mirrors and changing rooms. Now though I love my body, my hair and skin. I like to exercise, learning what my body can do and am skilled. I can dance, write and a good imagination and creative.
So spend some time writing down the things you are feeding your brain and workout, what is effecting you and getting you down and what are the good things you are consuming?
It can take time but you mindset can change and work for you and not against you.

Hello and welcome to another Monday. If you are new then each week I post a Cheat Sheet on various things and this week it is: Different Ways to Organise. I do a blog specifically about Organisation if you’d like to check it out:
I am always trying to better myself, example I wanted to get up earlier, but I fell back to sleep but I know when I do finally get up earlier more, like I have done in the past, will get more tasks done and I like getting up early, when it gets lighter again in the mornings will be better and will help me to be more awake and my energy boost is in the morning. However I do like my routine of reading first thing in the morning, during the day and in the evening.
People do think I am mad in wanting to get up super early but even thinking about this, is creating endorphins that makes me excited about it and know from experience that it will give me an extra boost.
The one thing I want to do next is to go on my early morning walks again. I love to walk and hearing the birds sing and hearing the trains and just taking in my surroundings. I am moving from my home in Wimbledon and I feel happy. Having to pack every week has taken it toll so now I am more or less be around the corner and my son is going to school, instead of going to the Library. It has been good. I have journaled, created a new book about a library and reading, but I feel school will be better for him and myself because he will have that interaction of making friends again, doing school clubs and back to his days broken up so he’s not restricted in one place and can run around during parts of the day and I can have some time to myself.
I also want to eliminate somethings. Unsubscribe from some Youtube channels. Not saying they are no good just my interests have changed, in what I like to watch and the same with my email accounts and reorganizing and sorting out the home.
So where is your life right now? What changes do you want to make?
It could be your finances. I am now on a Low Spend year and going to film more for my Financial Youtube Channel and not buying clothes and books and notebooks and this has made me really be vigilant with where my money goes. I do have a Youtube channel about how I manage my money to help you manage yours: (72) Financial Living – YouTube and I each year do No Spend January and do No Spend days.
It is good to go through your life and anything you not sure about and what would make that area in your life better? I need to get a lot done but I am looking forward to that and like having plenty to do and it will feel weird not being with my son, it will be a an adjustment again, but feel positive about it.
So where are you in your life and please let me know below of what you want to change and have more in your life if you don’t already? You can leave a comment below.
You look at a windowsill in your home and it is cluttered so you tidy it up and now you have a a bit more structure. Your child gets a certificate for learning at school. I manage to cook a meal, never cook before. These are the small things that can make a big difference in how we see ourself and our life.
This weeks Cheat Sheet is all about the Daily things I like to do on a daily basis that sets up my day. The small wins are just as good as the small ones. Today I tidied up and get clothes out of my son for the day. Have my two cups of tea I like to have in the mornings and later will get a take away coffee.
These are free to download and print. If you’d like to be notified of when I post on this Online Platform then please subscribe.
It can be the hardest the times when you have nothing set up to feel good about yourself and your life. It is all about living in the moment and like I did another Radio show yesterday after feeling so nervous and it was good and so tip# Go through what you have done each day.
It is a better feeling that you have taken on action, a step towards the bigger tasks like at the weekend, I went through my clothes and it is good to let things go, to focus on each day and I don’t need a new outfit all the time and rather book things to do. At half term I am taking my son to a show and take him to the Cat Cafe in London and like booking days out for my son.
Tip# Write down what you enjoy.
Tip# Get a bag and start to go through a draw and at the weekend as I had so many clothes, told my mum to get rid of anything in the draws I was using, away. I am moving so no longer going to live in Wimbledon, this is a huge change and means really getting my head down and do more things to move towards the bigger things I want to do and decide on what is important to me now and what is not. Making one change can make a huge different. Check this blog: Making one change

Hello! How are you getting on this year so far. It is weird knowing that a couple weeks ago was now last year. It is hard to keep up but just live and I hope you are okay?
So if you are new then I share a cheat sheet to help you feel good about yourself and on how to make life better. I from experience have found life a struggle but let me tell you it can change its just doing one change day which is a course I am developing and why I break it up and so just one thing is still getting jobs done and not draining your energy so you burn out.
Here are Ten Things to Write in your journal to get more out of your life.
So there will be more to come. These weekly Printables are free to download and print and if you’d like to read more of my content then you can subscribe and I also have Youtube Channels and Blog sites so check out these links below:
I bet there are lot of people wanting Winter to be over. I hear it and not going to say “Oh think positively” if you can’t get your car out of the snow and you can’t go to work to earn your living, then how can you? Nature can have its evil side and so wish you all the best and hope that they have some way of contacting others. The feelings of people being stranded makes me want to wave a wand to get rid of the storms we have but you can’t so I will pray for you and those who you may know are stuck and they get help.
Going out it seemed okay and went for us here in Surrey a coffee and the darkness is making me feel cozy and grateful for what I have and feel different. There are things I’d like to do, I just fear housework. I am making sure Henry does some learning. He has two schools interested and so feel that some good things are on the horizon, but gonna see before I get my hopes up or look too far ahead of myself and live at a steady, slower pace.
Where is your mind at?
I think it is a natural to feel extra hungry or tired because we as humans need day light and when there is lack of it we feel like doing nothing and its okay to do that. Your not doing anything wrong and often we feel we are.
We still today as I write this blog, went out for a coffee and picked up a few things and Henry did some learning and I feel I being told subconsciously that not to worry about clearing out a bag, which in the end completing this blog did. Its okay to focus on my son and getting a place in a school, rather and housework as I received a call about Henry having an assessment. He has two next week and feel my prayers are being answered.
My sentence for me this year is “Wait and See” and not get impatient that things are taking their time. Sometimes life can be like that and with my son and school is taking my mind off on it being cold. I do find it hard to exercise when it is cold and move at all.
