4 Reasons to Write Down Goals | Set goals quotes, Goal quotes ...

Hi and welcome to another blog post on Everyone Can Build a Castle. So I have set out my goals for this year 2020 again, as they had slightly changed.

I have separated them into these categories,

  • Personal
  • Financial
  • Henry my son
  • Writing
  • Blog goals
  • Health and Wellbeing

You can set yours up how you wish, there is as far as I am concerned no right way or wrong way of doing so, its your goals so you can create them however you wish to.

I used Microsoft Publisher for mine and I have created a printable via microsoft word, that you can print out and use if you so wish, or use it as a guide to create your own.

Goals sheet printable

When creating goals break them down, and create daily goals for yourself to help get you near your ultimate goals you wish to achieve.

Remember to add some kind of self-care to your goals as we all need that down time.

If you have any questions then please feel free to ask. You can do so my commenting below.

Many thanks for reading,

Arguing Couple Clipart

It has been a testing year so far one that I am not sure I want to remember. I have met someone new and I love them with all my heart but I am going through a marriage break up, which is still tough.

Love is a strange feeling, it can give you so much joy or sadness and I feel now that sometimes due to betrayal that some love can never be fixed and put back together again.

Life after marriage is like being on a rollercoaster that you struggle to get off, and feel like as soon as I feel everything is okay that it crashes before I know it.

So the first tip I would give, is to,

  • Create a new beginning. So change your mindset and see it as it time to end that chapter of your life and time to start a new one.
  • Let it all out, I am a believer that sometimes crying is the great healer and helps get your emotions and feelings out of your system.
  • Keep a journal. I love to journal and is a great way to gain perspective.
  • Form new relationships. Being with someone who is negative can bring you down and can make other people unhappy. Build new ones and stick with them.
  • Be aware of your feelings, as they do change and if you feel you no longer love someone that is time to call it a day.
  • Stop feeling guilty. No one likes a break up but if it isn’t working it is a signal that you need to move on, so forget the guilt and move on.
  • Find the courage to rebuild your life and remember to breath.
  • Speak to someone who can give you support in this troubled time and listens without giving an opinion.
  • Take care of your health and wellbeing. In a marriage break up it is important that you look after yourself rather than other people just yet. You need gain perspective listen to your feelings and be strong
  • Don’t use your children to point score or as a weapon. It isn’t their fault and should be listened to if they are upset

Divorce affects many people, but you have to get to know yourself again, because often when we get married and have kids we can lose our identity.

I have created a cheat sheet with the following tips above, which I hope you will find useful as you can print off to remind yourself.

DEALING WITH A DIVORCE CHEAT SHEET

You have to fight and stick up for yourself and be true. I wish you all the happiness in the world, and I am here to support you 100% percent.

Lets come to together to become a success.

Dealing with the Inner Critic

Be ruthless, Cheat sheet, dealing with the inner critic, everyonecanbuildacastle, Social Anxiety

Inspiring words to help you silence your inner critic and build ...

As human beings we can be driven by our Inner Critic.

That voice can go on and on, telling you,  your wasting your time and don’t bother getting out of bed do it tomorrow.

However not being Mrs Doom and Gloom, what if tomorrow never came?

Neither of us know what is around the corner. I have often seen things before they have happened, example I knew that my mum was going to end up with Tot (my step dad) ages before they got together, but not sure if this was coincidence or just a thought.

When it comes to dealing with the Inner Critic be ruthless with yourself and say “No I am going to go for run today” even if the Inner Critic keeps on and is constant.

Don’t ignore the Inner Critic because from my own experience when you do the voice can get stronger, so acknowledge it and tell it to “Shut up” get up out of bed, put your running gear by your bed on, which I would always suggest you so the night before and before the Inner Critic can continue go for a run.

With the Inner Critic it can effect our everyday lives, like when we write a letter, a book or a blog, going on examples. This voice is our protector in a way, as often as humans we can sniff out danger or that the letter isn’t good, so you proof read and edit it until it is good.

What you don’t want to do is allow it to take over, because once it does it can make you think Rapidly and then stop you in your tracks, talking you out of it, then you feel guilty for not doing what you wanted and it has ended up not being anything to really worry about at all.

I remember one work Christmas Party and it was a new job but being shy and suffering with Social Anxiety didn’t want to go, well I am glad I did because it was brilliant. Yes I did get drunk, but from that point forward really got to know my new colleagues and began to fit in.

Keep a Journal to answer the Inner Critic and what you really think and what you should do. Example you have split from your boyfriend and you then have the Inner Critic telling you that you shouldn’t have done that, make bullet points as to why you did and then read them out, and create a new plan of action to move on.

When relationships breakdown there is a reason, so write in your journal about it to address the topic, and face the voice by looking in a mirror imaging the Inner Critic is in front of you head on and say “GO AWAY”, silence it by imagining the voice getting quieter and quieter until it is completely muted.

Then reducing the image of the Critic until it completely disappears.

Try doing this several times and you will no longer be dictated by the Inner Critic, but by the voice that is in your gut instead.

I have done a cheat for you to download with this activity and you can even stick it on the wall, and try it every time the Inner Critic speaks.

woman on a computer

Hi everyone I am writing today about Building Success through a blog. I have been writing blogs for about 12 years now and I absolutely love it and enjoy creating content for you to read.

You can do it as a living which is what I am building up to do, so I have an income coming in via my blogposts.

It isn’t an easy task, but from my learning and understanding once you start it is hard to stop.

I have written my Newsletter blog talking about The Do’s and Don’t when building a blog, which I have added into a cheat sheet below: https://newsletterthoughtsandadvicefortheweek.blogspot.com/2020/04/the-dos-and-dont-when-building-blog.html

I have created a couple of cheat sheets to help you with writing a successful blog (see below):

Cheat Sheet on writing a blog

cheat sheet on the dos and don’ts when writing a blogpost

The one thing I would say is ignore the doubters, as long you believe in your blogpost and writing engaging content then keep going.

Don’t be put off if you don’t get an audience at first, because it does take time. Also remember to use Keywords.

You can build success through a blog by being consistent and if you take a break then do let your audience know.

Find your niche which for me I found through working in customer service, discovering people like Tony Robbins and Mel Robbins, Oprah Winfrey and Youtubers like Louise Pentland, Rebecca Meldrum, Mimi and Alex Ikon, Kate Murnane and Fleur De Force.

Check out this video by Tony Robbins talking about:

How To Eliminate Self-Doubt and Develop IRONCLAD CONFIDENCE

Be productive, which I talk a lot about on this site, because the more productive you are the more blogs you can write. Make sure for example you have clear space to work on and remember quality is better than quantity, just batch writing I find has helped me stay on track, as now I write practically everyday.

Make it a habit that before or after you have finished your blogwriting you tidy your area ready for the next day.

Please remember you can keep up to date with all my blogposts via following me on WordPress.com

So it is February and some are starting to feel the new year blues. At the beginning of the year some of us are like “Yeah lets get fit, lets use our Rollerblade’s” yet they are still sitting there and the gym membership we signed up for has started not to the investment you wanted.

  • Did you sit down and make a plan?
  • Had you done your research and see how you can still workout for free?
  • Why did you buy Rollerblade’s instead of a pair of comfortable trainers?
  • Is the job you wanted making you happy?
  • Are you not seeing the results you wanted?

CHANGE YOUR PLAN

I have created a goals worksheet for you to use to help you so please fill in the contact form below and I will email it over to you:

Thank you for your response. ✨

Separate your goals into categories:

  • Personal
  • Family
  • Financial
  • Work/Business
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Spiritual

Break them down and set 2 to 3 and develop a goal a day, week and month and for the year and/or even quarterley.

Create a goals statement and be ruthless and don’t be afraid to be selfish.

mine is:

GOALS ARE ABOUT ACHIEVING THE BEST LIFE TODAY, TOMORROW AND FOR EVERY DAY I AM ALIVE TO BE THE BEST AT WHAT I WANT TO BECOME IN MY LIFE! TO BE SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO HELP PEOPLE BUILD SUCCESS IN THEIR LIVES TOO!

Lets get ready for blogmas

This year I have decided that I would do Blogmas to help get me and everyone who reads or who are new to my blogs, in the mood for Christmas and so this means I will be posting blogs everyday from tomorrow (1st Dec) to Christmas Day (25th Dec) on my various sites that I write blogs on, including this one.

The links to my other sites are as follows:

https://everydaylivingandlifestyle.wordpress.com/

https://theparentingadventurestipsandtricks.wordpress.com/

https://theparentingadventuresthebirthofmyson.wordpress.com

https://sportsandfitnesspassion.wordpress.com/

There may be some videos, articles, books and various topics that I would like to share as this time of year can be hard for some people and like myself there was a time when I dreaded Christmas.

However there are good things about Christmas too and will be sharing how you can finish this year with a bang by creating positive changes into your life that will set you up to have a better Christmas and finish the year on a high.

If there is a particular topic you would like me to talk about that will help you then please leave a suggestion by adding a comment below. You can keep up to date with all my blogs on this site and my others by following on WordPress.com.

Brain dumping, Keeping a journal, The Art of Keeping a journal, Writing a journal

My Happy Journal

The art of keeping a journal is basically to brain dump all your thoughts onto paper whether negative or positive. It just helps clear the mind, and set a side time for yourself to be with your thoughts for a bit.

I created a cheat sheet, to help those who are new to writing a journal, what to write about.

I keep many journals, one that I share all my happy thoughts and moments in my life and one for my negative most private thoughts. They are all kept in a safe place.

You don’t have to do that, I would suggest to keeping with one for the time being until you get used to it. You can look at Pinterest for ideas aswell.

This is where I build up content for my blogs, being creative can help and make it your own.

So if you want to enjoy the art of keeping a journal and brain dumping your thoughts then why not start now.

It can help put those thoughts in a different perspective.

Please if you liked this blog then click below, and if you would like to read more of my blogs then you can follow me on WordPress.com and if there is a topic you would like me to write about on this blog then please comment below.

If you like to keep a journal then I’d love to hear from you.
