Hello! So it is November can you believe it? It means Thanksgiving for those in America and Canada and even though I don’t celebrate it I like the tradition and I love things all traditional and why now I love the Winter. Yes we have darker days but it doesn’t mean life has to stop.

I created a Programme called Winter Wellness, talking all things winter. I have had a lack of energy. I have felt depressed this time of the year but now I find it a blessing as it is a good excuse to have a coffee with someone, invite friends over for dinner or visit someone and I loved it at school where we’d sing to elderly in the local hospitals that was once near my Primary school and Christmas Carols and good Winter books.
We’d go to midnight mass at my schools Church and the school would so a Christmas service and I was either singing or playing the recorder.
My favourites books, TV and film were Wind in the willows and Christmas Carole and just bought a new copy as it is my ultimate favourite Christmas/Winter book and I am collecting children’s classics. I like to use it as time with my son, with other family and friends. Today me and my mum went to order cupcakes for my sons birthday, had a coffee and there were mums, elderly and students chatting and I am not a fan of busyness, why I tend to go out in the morning but just seeing a familiar face catching up on their life and yours, there’s nothing better and had my first festive drink yesterday and feel really happy about winter and it no longer a struggle. I still feel fatigued more, but once out and got some fresh air, watched a movie away from my laptop and played indoor football with my son, a good hot dinner I feel good each day and not everyone has that luxury so I donate to the Trussell Trust each month and make the most of the time I have on my own and with others.
It is a good time to not spend money. I like to have no spend days and I have created a printable which I will post and one area is finance. I have a lot of birthdays this time of the year. It is my Aunties 80th and will see family I’ve not seen for ages, its my brothers 50th, mums and then my sister in-law and my step dads. My sons is the day after my brothers. My son is going to be a teenager so it can be expensive so I plan ahead and put money aside the best I can.
My Winter Wellness starts on the 9th November and will be subscriber only, but will be free to do so.
Many thanks for reading,
