So the things I have realised I consume the most is clothes. I love fashion but recently I have started to get picky and I love a notebook so I have had to decide what is truly my thing. I want to collect Classic books, make space for a TV with DVD player. In the new year, 2027 I want a new bed with storage and today went through my clothes and sorting through to take to be recycled.

Things I’ve kept and use checkout my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CarriesBeauty4u/

I feel we accumulate so much and we, I mean I and I am going through a change of direction whilst doing this years Autumn Reset and setting up a new Google blog and closing a few of my existing sites down because I feel they’ve come to an end. I will share soon but not yet.

So I am filming for my Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@Carriechalloner) of things I am getting rid of because I find these videos motivating. A word not many like but I feel that you should use a word that works for you. My word for this year was grow but have had to build my motivation to have a bit of encouragement and I feel no shame in that.

I got rid of a cardigan because I can’t roll the sleeves up when washing or cleaning. A White Denim Jacket because I just don’t see myself wearing it and a fleece as I prefer ones with pockets and a bit of shape and so feel good in letting them go. Spray and skincare. I got rid of moisturiser and an eye liner because it would smudge a lot and the cream was sticky and was a well known brand which was pricey and tried it because I had a voucher for it in Boots, but was no good.

I only own two perfumes and that is enough. They were both gifted and like to make them last.

Kitchen wear. I keep avoiding. I love my slow cooker, but want to get rid of kitchen aid because I just don’t use it but something is holding me back. I feel some usage in it but the blender that it came with I got rid of and it has discoloured so I know I need to let it go. See if this happens. Have you an item or area you’ve been avoiding?

I think it is regret. A word I am fearful of but it the cause. I know I’ll feel good in saying goodbye but not sure on where it will go. Any tips would be welcomed. You can comment below.

So yes I like to go through my kitchen and love my tea and coffee station but need to get rid of some items like my kitchen aid. I have cooking equipment they I’ve used for 5 minute then not bothered with it afterwards and I feel I need to bite the bullet and clear my kitchen aid and my baking tools.

Saying goodbye can be tough but you got to be ruthless and the other thing is kids toys. My son loves games like Countdown, tipping point, skittles, football and rugby and his electric guitar. With kids they can go off things but then there interest in it can return. He so particular with his clothes and had to explain that they need to be given to another child as he has so many things that he has not paid any attention too, but then will suddenly be interested. He has a Keyboard, but not paid attention to and sleeps with his clock and toy Penguin he won at Chessington World of Adventures this year, but he now wants a street lamp. He has lamps that my husband bought from Temu and needed USB plugs and not used.

So tip have a box to give to the toy fairy and let them put in the box. We had a skittles set but we moved and it had gone and then he wanted to play with the set again so ordered a new one and played with it for two days and now in its back in it box once again; for kids there’s no time limit and Henry will go to one thing and another. He has footballs and rugby balls because he loves sport so going to the give these to the football Fairy at some point as they have gone flat. We do have a pump but they outside covering coming away so need to go.

I feel that things are taken shape and now going to drink my tea and work on my book I am finishing for my Autumn Reset and so getting there but have to understand that somethings have to be put on hold sometimes and make sure that they will get done.

Many thanks for reading,
